Nestled in the heart of a bustling district, the iclub Mong Kok Hotel offers a tranquil ambiance, particularly praised for its quiet, dark rooms with a funky, new-age design that contrasts with the lively social vibe of its communal areas. While opinions on the hotel's value differ, guests appreciate the proximity to transport and shopping, as well as complimentary perks like breakfast. Cleanliness generally receives high marks, as does the hotel's location. However, guest experiences with service and room quality show a range of satisfaction, indicating the hotel's performance in these areas is inconsistent.

Room size and design is ok given the place and location. Room cleaning could do with some improvements - amenities are not consistently replenished. There is supposed to be 24/7 access to coffee and tea. However, it is not always so.

First stay at this location of iClub. Normally iClub Fortress Hill is my go to but since most of my plans were in the Kowloon side and the riots are ongoing I did not want to be stuck on the island side just in case. Would have given this a poor rating but really wanted to be fair to the housekeeping and doormen.

Booking via Regal site got late check out for 1 p.m. Check in and check out was mediocre at best. Check in: no smiles, no explanation of facilities, no welcome. Check out: no thanks for staying. Actually, at check out the older male staff who handled my luggage was 1000 times friendlier than the front desk staff (he did not even look at me or acknowledge my existence until the luggage staff asked him if I can leave). The luggage staff even helped me hail a taxi while baking in the sun. At least that is one consistency of the 2 iClub properties, the front desk is awful and the housekeeping/doormen are great.

Housekeeper was friendly and attentive. It was a short stay but you can tell the attention to detail.

Location was around a 10 minute walk to Mong Kok MTR. It's not a terribly far walk but the added time is due to all the traffic lights you encounter on your way to MTR. If you prefer you can walk to Olympic MTR as well but Mong Kok station is more convenient location on the subway system. Taxi from Airport Express Kowloon Station was about $50 HKD (including luggage fees). There are lots of restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets nearby. Ten minutes walk to Olympic or Langham Place area will get you even more options.

It was exciting to see a space under the bed for the suitcases however, my suitcases did not fit (standard 29" hard case). So the whole time the suitcases were at the foot of my bed. Room was an iSelect room that looked out at the nearby buildings and the track/soccer park. This standard room is much bigger than the one at Fortress Hill. Which is a real plus for this property.

Breakfast is served on second floor which is same area as the gym equipment. The gym equipment was better than the iClub Fortress Hill. I bought breakfast from outside but got a coffee at the breakfast bar. There was some basic juice, toast, and fruit available.

Overall, probably will not stay at this location again unless the price is significantly cheaper. Because to be honest why pay good money for a location 10 minutes away from MTR to arrive on a bad note and leave with a sour taste?

I will recommend this hotel to everyone. This hotel is new and the staffs were accommodating. It has a very good location. What I enjoyed most is the unlimited coffee for I’m a coffee lover and the coffee is not instant coffee. They have their own coffee machine for 24hrs. So you can have freshly ground coffee ready anytime of the day. They have free breakfast as well that can satisfy your morning and start your day! The hotel is very clean and you can still smell the newness of it. I appreciate that the whole hotel is smoke free because I don’t like the smell of smoke. It has a fair price for everyone . I will definitely go back to this hotel! 👍🏼

Dear Earlpisigan, Thank you for taking your time to share your feedback with us. We are glad to learn you enjoy the view from our guest room, our staff and iLounge facilites. Until 1930, the area was called Mong Kok Tsui, The current English name is a transliteration of its older Chinese name, which is named for its plentiful supply of ferns in the past when it was a coastal region. Its present Chinese name "旺角" means "prosperous corner" or "crowded corner." Once again, we appreciate your feedback on the hotel that will definitely make us better. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you again in the near future. Thank you and best regard, Elgene Lee (Mr.) General Manager

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a day and it was spectacular! We enjoyed our stay 100% even we only stayed for a day, we felt rejuvenated. The hotel is new and with it's price it is totally worth it. The design of the hotel is very modern which we liked. Can't complain with the cleanliness of the air we breathe inside because it is non smoking hotel for we are non smokers. It has great location too! They offer free breakfast which tons of other hotels doesn't offer and we liked it too for we are breakfast person. We will definitely stay again in this hotel and recommend it to our friends.

Living far from the major business districts, I always book a hotel room for myself after work especially when I need to stay at office till late night.

iclub MK is definitely a good choice. Before staying in, I never expected anything, in particular, for this price. Surprisingly, the young lady, Euncee who checked me in is professional and helpful. She answered a couple of questions for me patiently and recommended some of the best late night food nearby. Also, the room is new and clean.

If I have to be picky, many of the toiletries are only provided upon request (even for facial tissues)and it is quite inconvenient for both guests and staff.

Whilst this is one of the cheaper options for quarantine in Hong Kong, I do not believe that there is any excuse for an overly humid room or a lack of cleanliness. Upon check in, my original room had a very sizeable wet patch on the ceiling, about 60cm wide and was dripping water onto one of the twin beds. After getting approval from the Department of Health, I was allowed to change room. The new room had absolutely filthy mirrors, a laminated desk cover which has rings from previous food consumption on it and there was dirt and hair in several places in the room. Marks were everywhere including walls, TV, floor and mirrors where a wet cloth had previously been passed and left stains/water spots. Whoever cleans the rooms, be it the hotel staff themselves or the Department of Health, they are not doing an even halfway decent job. I asked for towels and a cleaning solution so that I could clean myself, as no staff were allowed inside the room during quarantine. The only way to keep the humidity down was to have the aircon constantly on freezing cold which was not at all comfortable either, but better than the damp that was in the bed, in my books and notebooks, tissues - everywhere.
The staff, when i called were courteous and as efficient as possible. I had 2 parts of a delivery sent to the hotel for me and only 1 made it up, so I had to call down and chase up the other one.
The food was acceptable but boring. The rooms are tiny and I think the only saving grace is a great shower (although the drainage was horrendously slow) and a very acceptable price.

We stayed 2 times at iclub Mong Kok.. Our both stays were very nice. First time, we had a standard room, which was too little, as we were a couple with 2 big luggage, but the bad was very comfy. At check`in they offered us continental breakfast for free, but we had it only once, as it was very poor (bread, jam, butter and croissants), the juices and the coffee were not good... What i loved the most is that i could let my luggage at the hotel for 2 weeks, when we came back from another destination. Then, they offered us an upgrade and the room was very spacious, with big windows on one side of the room. The view was stunning. I definetly loved it. Rooms were cleaning every day if you wanted it, the housekeeper was very friendly and nice.
A big plus is that Mong Kok metro station is very close, max. 5-6 minutes walk.

Basic but sufficient facilities. More information about services would have been nice (wasn't aware there was a basic breakfast included nor that the 2nd floor - lounge -was out of commission on certain days). HK preaches a no plastic rule so water needs to be obtained via a supplied glass bottle in the room. The bottom of the glass bottle decided to just burst apart by my simply unscrewing the top...! No smashing, just under normal room temperature for hours and my unscrewing the cap off. Bed sheets are tidied up, not replaced on lengthy stays, floors are fully tiled which makes it feel cleaner in some ways. Shower on 9th floor was reasonably strong and shower was pretty spacious compared to some 5* hotels but no bath. Basic open-air gym with laundrette which feels a little expensive; 60 hkd for wash and 50min dry. This is my 2nd time here.

Booked I club MK for 7 nights and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. While the hotel remains strict to adhere to the local regulations, the service and communication by the staff has been very good and clear. This is my 4th time quarantining for a trip and this was one which passed the most quickly. Particularly, the hotel still feels very new and clean which is key for quarantine, air conditioning and bathroom almost new condition. You might want to consider bringing some water and download food delivery platform though as I feel that the food can be improved.
Nevertheless, overall a very smooth worry free experience at iclub mk- mid May 2022. Thank you hotel staff and team.
