Neighbourhood
Tsim Sha Tsui
Tsim Sha Tsui is one of the major tourist and shopping areas of Hong Kong. With a high concentration of hotels, retail shops and commercial offices – it’s a busy and bustling neighbourhood that never sleeps. On the surface, Tsim Sha Tsui seems to only feature an abundant number of high-end retail stores selling designer brands and jewelry, owing to its popularity with high-budget shopping tours. However, it also contains a diverse range of attractions for the entire family. Whether taking a walk in Kowloon Park, exploring museums, going shopping or grabbing a bite to eat – Tsim Sha Tsui has something for everyone.

We stayed 3 nights in the end of february 2017. The reservation went smoothly. It is on a very central location 2 minutes from the MTR. Nice clean rooms and no noise. Cool decor and a nice roof terasse. The people working there are very friendly

One thing that most people do know about traveling to Hong Kong is that accommodation rarely ever follows the whole ‘value for money’ concept, so it’s fair to say that I had a skewered idea when it came to choosing where to stay for my one week. I can tell you now, I made the

I stayed at Hop Inn on Mody from 22/11 to 25/11. I booked via Booking.com and paid HK$574 cash upon check in for 3 nights for 1 bed in a 6-bed female dorm with attached bathroom. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful and speaks English. The place is nicely decorated.

There is a mosque (Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre) near the Tsim Sha Tsui Station/Haiphong Road which is more or less a 10-minute walk from Hop Inn. For the room, I think they now have large rooms in their Hankow branch but you should confirm this with them since large rooms are usually booked in advance.

What is the best way to get to Hop Inn on Carnarvon from Hong Kong International Airport?
FROM AIRPORT : Airport bus A21 > Get off at Cameron Road Stop (bus stop no. 13) & walk south (right) on Nathan Road > turn east (left) at the 2nd intersection onto Humphreys Ave > Cross the 4-way intersection & go straight onto Hart Ave > The hostel entrance is in the building next to 7-eleven. Airport Express to Kowloon Station > Take the free shuttle (K3) to Hyatt Regency Hotel > Take the lift to G/F entrance > Turn northwest (left) onto Hanoi Road > Turn northeast (right) onto Carnarvon Road > Turn east (right) onto Hart Ave > The hostel entrance is at the opposite side of the road in the building next to 7-eleven.
