Stayed here for three nights as was one of the cheapest options in Hong Kong. It really has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The bathrooms were never overly busy and there’s lots of free toiletries to use. Free hot and cold water is also provided in the small kitchen area. The rooms are a decent size and enough space for bags in cages under the bed. Noise levels were good too. We thought there would be more social activities but nobody ever mentioned anything. I’d recommend a free walking tour as a great way to see the city and meet people. The hostel is also super close to the subway station where you can get the red line three stops to Central Station on Hong Kong Island.
This hostel is strategically located, there are 2 24 hours convenient store nearby and tons of eatery once you get down and head to the street. Their balcony and common area are cozy, it feels like home.
Hard to find; you have to go around the corner. I stayed in a tiny private room. Very nice hostel with rooftop terrace. A/C is weak but was good enough for winter. You can hear doors opening/closing, so not quiet but not a noisy place either. Bathroom was a bit smelly, but I just shut the door. Paid $45 on Agoda, so I think a deal.
I stayed for 3 nights in the 6 bed dorm and really enjoyed my stay. Great location, good wifi, nice fluffy blankets, and amazing showers! I found the staff to be friendly as well. They had umbrellas to borrow which was great because I wasn't expecting rain in November!
I have been in Hop Inn for 3months as a exchange student and I can totally recommend it. -Staff: Best stuff ever, perfect english, always friendly, young engaged team, can ask them everything, clean rooms by the best housekeepers, 24h receptionist service! -located perfectly in the middle of TsimTsaShui, MTR station only 5minutes away, groceries and restaurants in front of the door -Rooms size is normal for hong kong, bathroom and cleaning service included every 2-3 day! -Rooftop and common room are perfect to chill, have a drink or a conversation. Regularly ate events like acustic night, gamenight, barbecue and other parties. -free water, tee, coffe, fridge, microwave, oven ,laundry room, dvd collection, tv, game console.. I’m looking forward to my last month in Hop Inn and i…
Excellent location, clean facilities (except for the couch), and affordable. Will I visit this place again? Yes. Will I recommend staying at this property in Tsim Sha Tsui? Absolutely! The lady at the reception was a bit rude. It felt a little bit off talking to her whenever we ask her questions. A little smile would have helped and a little understanding that tourists need her to speak slowly because we can barely understand her accent.
I stayed 8 nights in a double room with private bathroom and found it to be a great value in a great location. Room M3 was better than M4, brighter and wider. One piece of feedback would be to install reading lights by the bed since the room has only one overhead light for the whole room. Don't expect much room space in Hong Kong, yet it was functional space and people at the Hostel/Hotel were respectful and the staff pleasant. There's a fridge/microwave/toaster oven available for use and the free supply of water is not to be overlooked. Plus you can store your luggage if you arrive early or need to check out but wish to do more touring of the city. The bed and pillows were rather firm yet not uncomfortably so. They had nice bed/bath linens too. Their sister hotel a short…
The hostel is very central (laid in the quarter tsim tsa tsui), every other stop is reached within a short time via the MTR (subway). We booked a double room but the hostel alao offfers bunk beds. The hostel itself was clean, the people working there are very friendly. We got great dinner recommendations and directions. If you require coming from the airport you can use the bus 21a which stops in a 3 min walking distance. We would definatelly come here again!
A great place to stay, friendly and accomodating. Yes its a budget priced hotel and the rooms are basic but they do have everything you need. A great communal roof terrace and honour bar are nice. You are right in the middle of bustli g Kowloon here, 5 mins from the promenade, 10mins walk to the star ferry, 10 mins from the Kowloon markets .. all good
I booked the bed for the girls room only. There was a toilet in room. Everything is nice. The host is helpful. You can buy a bottle of water only 1 day and fill the water in the hostel for free. That is the brillian thing because the drinking water in Hongkong is very expensive.
