I went to this place last October. In 2018 I was quite impressed with the clean place. And economical price. And I booked this hotel again in June 2019 to stay in March 2020.During that time, an outbreak of Covid 19 occurred. Which Hong Kong is the closest point to the epicenter And there are more and more followers every day. Various airlines Began canceling flights into Hong Kong Which my flight was canceled And full refund as well. I contacted the hotel for a refund because Hong Kong was closed to the country, unable to travel. But the hotel refused a refund for me.So I came to warn people thinking of booking this hotel. Please consider carefully. As other hotels in Hong Kong In the first place the booking condition is non-refundable. But return the money to the booker due to force majeure

Absolutely not to be recommended! The rooms are windowless cells, the hallways scare claustrophobic people. It was loud, smelly, narrow and did not meet the description at all. In addition, the total amount was debited months before the trip! Visiting the room is also forbidden and so are "parties", which one could not celebrate due to the available space! In addition, it is not so cheap, the beautiful and luxurious Best Western around the corner is cheaper. We left the room immediately and moved! We immediately complained, but we didn't get any money back, even though we had given up the room.

We booked this room for 2 nights (non-refundable rate). What a mistake! The rooms are on the 8th floor which you can reach with a dangerous elevator (if there's a fire: you are dead for sure). The room itself was bad: leaking sink, the shower above the toilet, and very oppresive. We decided not to sleep here and asked for 1 night refund (what seemed fair to us). The owner was very rude and shouted something about it's your fault you book a non-refundable rate, and you can forget about a refund. We fly from this place. EMBARRASSING!

Situated at the lively Cameron road, There's nothing really special on this hostel. It is clean, simple, secure and expectedly very small. Good thing is, it is accessible and walkable to subway stations. Down the street, there are numerous restaurants and shops. For me, this is the best choice compared to the crowded Chungking Mansions.

Location is good, felt secure, clean enough and they service the rooms everyday. Although it is not staffed after 5:00 pm, getting in is very straightforward. I would definitely stay there again. If you have outgrown hostel dorm beds but are still traveling on the cheap, it works great. Note that this “chain” has a bunch of other nearby guest houses with other options. Two easy ways to get there: Take the Airport Express train ($$), transfer to the K4 bus, get off at the Park Hotel Hong Kong, walk 50 meters. Or, ($) take the A21 bus, get off on Cameron Road, walk up until you see the giant Raj Tailors sign. It is next door to that. Whatever you do, get yourself an Octopus card ASAP so that you can use it for anything and everything.

A good location with great transport links! You get what you pay for and this is cheap. You do have to share a shower and toilet with about four other rooms but we didn't have any issues of using the facilities when we needed them. The rooms are small but the air conditioning works and the place is clean. The hotel provides you with towels and a toothbrush with toothpaste. All the staff are very nice. We enjoyed our stay. The only downside was how noisy it was at night so many people like to honk at 3am thinking It helps.

I had no chance to stay in this guest house but I have to warn others. I booked room on booking.com February 14, they charged me full price +admin fee 2 days later. I noticed my money gone from account on the 18th. Booking says it may temporary block amount of money to check my account, which I don't mind. But to charge me full amount its bang out of order. So i decided to book same hotel on credit card to avoid loosing large amount on my debit account . I cancelled my other booking. Thinking will get money quick back on to my account. I was wrong. 18 days later still no money. I wrote 5-6 emails asking whats happening with refund - was ignored. Week or so later Susie contacted me saying i will be refunded .takes few days .... today i am still waiting. Sent email yesterday 12th March, received message today on whatsapp from Susie saying it was refunded wrong booking . So lied again she told me last time i will not me charged on the credit card - i was. Finally i decided to cancel my booking with Lee Garden Guesthouse because i cant trust this hotel, if i have hustle now what will be when i arrive in november. They messed up my finances , causing stress and losing trust in them. They do not keep their part of contract with booking.com and customers. Taking too long to answer, ignorance of emails is unacceptable. I had to sent up to 8 messages on booking.com, several emails to hotel, contacted twice booking.com customer services, sent on facebook twice messages even translated in to chinese was ignored. it is unacceptable that hotel can be so irresponsible and dont care about customers. if you take money after booking say so during booking, stop behaving so irresponsibly. this is first time happened to me ever, and it is very stressful. I will find better place to stay. Communication for me is Nr 1 when book hotel.

Stayed here with my friend. This place was quite good given the price we paid. It’s very centrally-located with a lot of affordable eats nearby. Room was kept clean everyday, too. The only issue we had was that the lift was broken during our stay and had to take the stairs up to the 7th and 8th floors with our luggages in tow.

Booked & fully paid last February for October 5. Emailed hotel one week prior to confirm and got affirmative response. After long flight, just wanted to crash in bed. Hotel said we 'fully booked". They then sent me to affiliated guest house - worse location & noisy - no apologies! When I returned home, my bank statement revealed they charged me again! I contacted them & they refunded me...however, A$30 short - they refuse to refund that $30 or apologise - unacceptable, rude management and no apologies - would NOT recommend!

I have stayed at this hotel twice previously and had 5 star experiences. This time however I felt something was missing. Ten out of ten for the effort of the staff. My issue was with the room. Maybe I was unlucky because the hotel was full and so room options were limited. I know they have better rooms, but I was in 804, which was smaller than ones I had previously experienced. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy. I was worried about using it for fear of disturbing other rooms. When I next come to Hong Kong, I shall consider this hotel, but it will no longer be my preferred choice and I will have to do some research. Maybe I was just unlucky this time; maybe my experience reflects the change in ownership from Charlie Chan to a new owner. Time will tell, and will be reflected in future guest reviews......
