Strategically located in Mongkok (approx 30mins taxi ride from Hong Kong International Airport), walking distance to many food options. Room was clean and though small (this is Hk after all) it's enough for 2 (we had with us 1 small and 1 medium size luggage). Checkin was smooth, and the staff were helpful with our inquiries, even pointing us to where they think has good wantan mee (1min walk from the hotel, thanks Eddie!). The hotel offers free shuttle bus servies to Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui areas daily. but we chose to walk on foot/take the MTR hence we didn't use the bus service. Overall our stay was comfortable and clean, kudos to the team at Dorsett Mongkok!

My family had a great time at Dorsett hotel. We stayed in Mongkok and got 2 family rooms. There is a free bear and goodies which the kids loved. They also graciously granted my request if they could arrange a little surprise for my niece whose celebrating her bday. After checking in, they gave a bday cake for her which made her so happy. We will stay here again when we come back. Location is very strategic, near transportation, McDonald's and other stores. Thank you Dorsett!

though the room was small the layout was efficient for our family of 3. the staff were courteous and helpful and the free shuttle was also nice. there were nice restaurants around as well as mcdonalds, grocery and drug store nearby. they also have candy treats for kids in the evening. would recommend to friends and stay here again.

Great location if you want to be amongst the traditional HK Chinese community with a local feel. Accross the road from a McDonald's if you like that. Seems as if there is a beginning of an urban renewal. Best thing is the hotel is close to Craft Coffee Roaster. Small room but nice enough.

Not great, location wasn’t great for us, just came off a cruise ship and our cabin was much bigger than the tiny room we were put in. Somebody bigger built would struggle no room at all for luggage only one pillow each on the two single beds.

Was in Dorsett Mongkok for 5 nights with my family. We stayed at executive room and family room. Room size was small but I guess this is normal for HK standard. Breakfast spread is pretty basic but there are several eatries nearby. The nearest mtr is Olympic station but it's a 7-8 mins walk away, near the Olympian City shopping mall. There is a shuttle bus service to areas including Langham Place,Kowloon, which runs every hour. Make up room service was patchy, on some days it was good but on other days, the room was not made up at 3pm even though we put the make up room sign during the early morning and went out. Overall an average stay.

We stayed at Dorsett Mongkok Hong Kong from August 29-31, 2023. The staff are very hospitable and available. Their rooms are clean and comfortable for rest after exploring Hong Kong. Also, the hotel was the one my grandfather and father stayed when they went to Hong Kong in the early 2000s, after telling them our experience with Hong Kong and Dorsett. Will recommend this hotel <3

I happened to book the same establishment 9yrs ago, back then it was called Cosmo. It was a newly renovated/built hotel and it was great in most aspects. 9yrs in, you could tell that; they’ve tried hard to maintain the furnishing of the rooms. As for this year’s stay, I’m going to breakdown into 2 segments; great and to be improved. Location is not too far from nearest MTR, staff services and promptness were great, shuttle bus service to various locations adds additional points. Areas that needs improvements/changes: 1) If I could insist, the pillows NEEDS to be changed. 1 is too flat, 2 are too high. 2) Sound proofing and stench of chlorine (post-house keeping) in a space confined space. 3) While I do understand that rooms in HK are extremely small. Particularly for this establishment, some rooms has weird angles. This weird angled room has this triangular angle near the window, supposedly good enough for only opening FULLY a small luggage instead of a big one. So, when there’s 2 beds and 2 person with 2 luggages in the room, it becomes extremely uncomfortable cos’ it feels very claustrophobic. Due to the tight space, you’re not going to get a lot of comfortable space alone, and if you’ve got 2 opened luggages, you’re probably gonna need to jump over luggages or walk over your bed to get to the bathroom. So basically, the 18m2 room is good for 1 traveller with 1 queen bed (tops) in my honest opinion. So travellers with family members (more than 1), I’m suggesting to reconsider their options on the size of the room. …

Very comfortable room and good manners. Service guys were incredibly nice. Location was very good. There were a supermarket in front of, and also a lot of different restaurants. Free shuttle bus was also very useful. Me and my mum used it very day.

My husband and I stayed multiple times at Dorsett (~2 weeks in May, and ~3 weeks in September). The rooms were very clean and staff were friendly! In particular, Augustine was a super helpful and attentive staff member, and he also helped me resolve my booking changes promptly. The hotel is located in Tai Kok Tsui and there are plenty of buses + subway available within a 10min walk. The hotel has a shuttle as well.
