Stayed one night for transition through Hong Kong from Dalian to Singapore. Room was quite spacious (compared to the norm of hotels in Hong Kong). It is with walking distance (through an overhead bridge) to the Expo train station for the Airport Express Train to the city. Bar was pretty good with a good range of selection. Free shuttle to airport terminal every 30 mins. Improvement: - It was actually very easy to get to the free shuttle bus - it ran between the hotel and the bus bay next the airport. The hotel should have just added a clear instruction and map in their website. However, I had to ring the hotel when I was in Dalian to ask where to take the shuttle as the website only said "please contact us if you need the free shuttle service). I was given instruction to go to the hotel counter in arrival hall through the phone. When I got to counter, there was nobody there but another set of confusion instruction to use the phone to contact the hotel (Should have just put a sign there with the bay number of the bus bay). I waited for 40mins in arrival hall till some staff told me where to take the shuttle) - Check-in took longer than normal (my impatience was probably caused by the shuttle bus episode earlier) …

We had a 10 1/2 hour layover in Hong Kong overnight and chose to book a room at the SkyCity Marriott. Best money ever spent. The bed was very comfortable, it was very quiet, and the amenities in the bathroom were appreciated. We had such an early flight out that we weren't able to partake in breakfast. Very easy to catch the free shuttle back to the airport. Travel time to airport about 5 minutes.

It was a great experience staying in this hotel where I met a senior concierge Sara Cheng. She greet me with her sincere smile that really warm my heart. One morning, I left my gift bag behind and got on the free shuttle. She was running to return it to me. I love her care and her beautiful smile. I enjoyed every moment when I was there. The service I've received from the front desk, the cafeteria and the house keeper are all well trained. Making my stay a beautiful vacation. I will have to take my husband back to visit again. Very nice stay. Close to the airport with free shuttle bus. Fantastic swimming pool, 25m and great gym. The room was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Very nice staff and good breakfast spread with lots to choose from. Very nice staff, would recommend.

I need to made a transfer flight in Hong Kong, due covid restrictions, the government rules doesn’t accept to leave the room during my stay here. Too much rules to follow, but the crew expose all of them very clear. The room was so comfortable to stay during this time and I can’t get access to any of the other parts of the hotel. Room service is good, but they charge 10% fee for a service that in my opinion must to be free due this restrictions.

hotel staff rude and disrespectful. The lighting in the hotel room is insufficient. I asked for an ice box, I asked for an ice box, there is no ice box in the marriot hotel for the room. Even if the air conditioners are working, the room is damp windows are very dirty it is impossible to see outside from the room. I don't think it deserves to be named Marriott.

Stayed there for a weekend! A spacious suite facing the harbour & pier was excellent! Tried the swimming pool but pool water was cold even indoor. Club access offered at Lobby Lounge, limited snakes offered but better than none! Buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of food served and received a great hospitality from Walter there. Overall was a great & relaxing stay there!

I have stayed at this hotel a number times over a number of years. This time was a very ordinary experience. I was required to do quarantine on entering Hong Kong. Instead of being treated as a guest, I was treated like an infected and unwanted alien. The room was still quiet and clean. It helps having very little aircraft noise due to the very few number of aircraft arriving. As I was in isolation for my stay at the hotel, food becomes very important. The time it takes, and the quality are all amplified by the fact you are trapped in the hotel. Unfortunately, the food was very expensive and ordinary for was it was. Delivered in a plastic bag in a takeout container, it was definitely not restaurant quality, but it was definitely expensive. A difficult situation for the hotel, but one that it is not doing well.…

As we have Titanium and Platinum Bonvoy membership, my good friend and myself chose to stay in Skycity for our birthday celebration in July. I have asked some simple questions before our arrival, such as shuttle bus schedule and pick up points…. However, the staff who replied my messages seems not very familiar with the hotel that she properly needs training. The pre-arrival experience is overall not satisfied. The manager on duty , Ian greeted us once we arrived the hotel and extended apology for our pre-arrival experience. We have reserved 2 rooms and were being arranged 2 gorgeous connecting room with sea view. Even we are 4 ladies in total , the rooms are very spacious. Thank you Maggie and Kevina for the arrangement. The room layout is not anything fabulous but is clean and well prepared. Thank you Housekeeping manager, Kim for following up our requests. Your service is very attentive. We had buffet at night time in the Café. The cold plate and seafood are outstanding, however, there are not many hot plate choices. We did not see the birthday cakes which were supposed to be delivered during our dinner time when we were out to the café. Sadly, it was not there even we arranged with the reception during our check in process. It seems there are miscommunications between the desk and the in room dining. Anyway, we finally got the cake at around 10pm. Still, we are happy for the birthday treats, the 2 brownie cakes are nice. On the next day, we chose to have dim sum in the Chinese restaurant. The restaurant layout is just a casual one but the food is delicious. The manager, Ian came to extend apology regarding the cake incident. We are quite surprised and thank you for the service recovery again. One of our friend went to the pool before leaving. It is quite nice to have an indoor pool but it was really too crowded and noisy. Knowing that it is a weekend in summer time, we understood it is unavoidable. At last, thank you Ian for following up my Bonvoy points after my departure. Even we experienced some incidents during our stay but you did a very good job! I m satisfied my staycation with my family in this summer! This time is coming for celebrate for my baby girl two years old birthday. Appreciate that hotel had special arrangements for the kids amenities like balloons and baby cot provided. Specially thanks to reservation team Manue answers my questions and follow up. And reception Grace had follow up call before check in. Is my happiness staycation in this summer, cause even the staff working in Buffet also is very friendly and helpful specially Ah Ling! Lastly, thanks to Sara and Keith(sorry I forgot the spelling,is long one ) to assistant my check out and make it smooth. Pandemic did not stopped your staff to delivery relationship and hospitality, i can feel that everyone provide warmest services from their heart and always smiling even wearing masks.
