not really happy, even if room is ok : - noisy as close to the airport, insulation is not sufficient. the hotel is just between the two runways, at the end ! why do they put the hotels always so close to the airport ? - due to covid, the hotel is a prison (cannot escape, well the hotel is not responsable of that, I have to admit ...) - food wise : well the choice are not immense, and not H24. If you dare to ask for some changes (like having vegetables - raw or steamed - or plain fruits) : "not possible". For a 5 stars hotel, could do far better ...

the hotel far from the city, few guest, no need to long queue for food. Hotel staff were nice, but John seems unskilled in using the card machine, he charge me 3 times the deposit. I understand it was pending, so just ignore it. Actually he was quite helpful, when I asked him for the printing matter, he said if I just print few pages, he will do it for me and charge $0. But I need to print 60 pages, so I went to printing shop at Kowloon. Dinner buffet was good. Lots of seafood for choose. Oyster was not very fresh. Botan shrimp was extremely good. Chinese soup was delicious. Pancake has cream eventually. Under the COVID-19, the Lounge allocated at 1/F next to front desk area. No staff check my access. When I get on the shuttle bus, The cockpit was empty, I went back to lobby and ask the staff, she said the driver will start on time, I was waiting near the front door outside that coach. When driver came back, I asked him:”is it go to Tung Chung?” He snubs me:”Are you our staff?” I showed him the room card. He pick it in!

I was coming back from Indonesia and I could not beat the convenience or prices of the property. Elite Marriott status helped too. It's a very elegant and full service hotel with a large bar, chinese restaurant, huge executive lounge. My second time at the property, and again I was upgraded to a large suite on the Executive Floor. A roomy room. It didn't feel cramped, or overly yawning. I did a little computer catchup then off to the Executive lounge for evening cocktails and hordevours. Then back to my room to try to adjust to time dilation from long flights and zone changes. The Executive lounge is truly a great experience. Free alcohol, quality snack food, and the breakfast, that spread is something. Much more than I would expect from a Marriott. If I wasn't so flight time constrained and knowing I had to fight the security points from protests to get into the airport, I would have stayed longer and enjoyed the lounge more. The gym is open 24/7, and at 5am when my body says "You are not sleeping" it helped pass the time. Very well appointed and lots of machines and weights in it. Really an exceptional hotel with attention to service and detail.

Opted for a further staycation destination during the holiday to avoid the crowd at popular hotels. The hotel targets crew members and layover travelers who seek less entertainment and amenities. While pool is available there, it is rather small and the jacuzzi is not opened (located in changing room). Was arranged a deluxe bay view suite to overlook the Macau Zhuhai bridge. The view was not bad, not breathtaking. The living room is spacious and they got a huge tv compared to other Marriotts. Washroom and bedroom are rather small considering it’s a suite. The deluxe suite is located at the far end of the hallway so you have to walk a long way to your room. They serve afternoon tea and snacks at the executive lounge which was relocated at the lobby. However, I found a piece of wooden stick in my fried noodles which shocked me a bit, not really what I expect at a Cat5 Marriott property. Overall experience is fine, if you wish to have an escape from the city and crowded places during holidays.

I've stayed this hotel several times from many years ago, all the service quality remains. It's near HKIA and the port to Macau, when staying here, I always feel relax and enjoy the good service. The staff are very helpful and always takes care of your needs. You can take the shuttle bus to Tung Chung city and explore many spots suburbs of HK city. The breakfast has many choices and you can enjoy very traditional Hong Kong dim sum to start a new day! This is a great hotel though it is a stopover for next business trip, I love to stay here to enjoy this hotel good service and convenient transportation to the place I would like to visit.
