I stayed there for one night to take some photos of the beautiful lanterns which will be light up at night during September. They have 3 rooms for booking only. My room is sea facing. it is clean and spacious for 2 people. A common area is outside the room, you can play some board games with friends there, the roof is open to all guest, you can see the stars at night with some beers.

We stayed at the Tai O Inn over Chinese New Year. The manager was very helpful before we arrived, sending directions and maps, and answering questions via Whatsapp. The guesthouse is only a five minute walk outside town in a picturesque and very quiet residential area. We paid a bit more to have a balcony with a sea view where we sat in the morning and enjoyed watching the world go by. We later discovered there are seats on the roof so there was no need to pay the extra cost - the rooms at the back are cheaper. That said, our room was newly decorated and completely spotless with a great power shower. It was obvious that a lot of thought had been put into providing comfort for the guests, and those small touches made it stand out. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this guesthouse but we thought the cost was high, especially as there was no breakfast. …

The owners were very friendly and recommend a great restaurant. The guest house was clean and full size bed very comfortable. We would have stay longer but we are going to China this week. We would stay in here again if in the area. Tai o inn is on the Tai o fishing village which is a picturesque village.
