We stayed at Nuo Beijing for a couple nights in June 2018 but I didn’t have a chance to review the place until now. The hotel has a gorgeous MING Dynasty style lobby and excellent breakfast with tons of choices. Room is nicely decorated and I really like the hotel toiletries. They use their own brand and the toiletries have Pu Er tea theme. One thing that I was really impressed with is the front desk service. The person who checked us in was Kathy and she was really friendly and efficient. She remembers her customers and a few days later when I asked to extend my room’s check out time since I had a late night flight departure she greeted me with my name and was able to extend my stay until 6:00 PM with reasonable fee. Overall she handled the request professionally and efficiently. We were happy with our stay in this hotel.

I have eaten at NUO on a few occasions, so already knew the outstanding quality of the food, but we had never stayed before. We only stayed for one night as a staycation, and had a wonderful stay with our baby. This was during the Covid19 crisis so the hotel was very quiet, however, the staff could not do enough for us. Room was beautiful and in fact the entire hotel is a temple to Chinese art and culture, very tastefully done and if you enjoy Chinese art then this is the place for you, and so far removed from a generic 5* big city hotel. Very contemporary and sophisticated. I would recommend paying for a room with executive lounge access as you get afternoon tea and a very generous happy hour which includes food and drinks. Though the hotel is not centrally located, the Lido area itself is very nice, with some excellent bars and restaurants itself, as well as being close to the 798 district, and a short cab ride to Sanlitan and the like. Best hotel in Beijing in its' price range.

NUO Hotel Beijing, remember this name as this is best hotel in the Capital
Real deal, value for money Prices are excellent for the room size, location (half way between city centre & airport) as top of the notch service.
Stayed several times over the past few years (Business & Pleasure) home away from home
The pleasure will start from check in at the lobby. all with help of very nice, friendly as professional Assistant Director of Lifestyle Frank Fang who is great host and got us always a wonderful quiet, high floor room making us feel special from the beginning to the end.
Beautiful lobby with exquisite chinese art installation
Room's are lovely, warm in the freezing Beijing winters and cool during the hot summers.
Super clean, full window view of the Capital with most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, love the pillows. Bathroom with rain shower & bath tub, separate WC very clean.
Excellent variety of chinese tea as loverly boiling ceramic pot
Reception very helpful in directing us to wonderful swimming pool, spa & gym (technogym equipped)
After we came back from our day out here was a welcome remembering about our son’s b-day with chocolate cake. When out of tea, coffee, ice or milk it will be replaced instantly
Amazing selection of both international as chinese movies, Samsung wide Smart TV convenient portable audio speaker to connect via bluetooth mobile phone selection Internet is stable as fast
Its really like they thought of everything to please our stay each time
We had breakfast, amazing selection of food from all over the world, high quality as service with a smile
So happy with our stay, looking forward to our next stay
Who checked us out at the lobby was very sweet as friendly, helped as payed for the bike rental, as chose to bike to the airport / 18km/.
Overall in my opinion of seasoned international traveller its the best stay ever 5star A+ in all of greater China and definitely will be soon back, I am recommending this piece of heaven to everyone who wants experience chinese hospitality in the capital.

Fantastic Family Sunday Brunch at NUO Simply the food and service was just the best. With my family we enjoyed the 3h brunch for wonderful world foods prepared to the best standard complete the option free flowing Champagne for me. Quick comment for the service on the Champagne is that my glass in the complete 3h was never empty and I never had to ask for a refill. The food was all prepared so well and we all enjoyed every dish.....sometimes more than once. For a special meal I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

The Nuo Hotel in Chaoyang, Beijing was one of my best hotel stays in China. The hotel itself is beautiful but the service went above and beyond. Frank, who is assistant director of the front of house, made sure our stay was highly enjoyable and comfortable. We were greeted by him when we arrived and he also saw us off at checkout. He ensured both check in and check out took place smoothly with no hassle. He was also available at any moment for any questions or concerns that arose, though there were few.
The room (executive studio) was spacious and very clean. Fresh fruit and chocolates were waiting for us and a celebration cake arrived later when we returned from dinner. The bed was very comfortable. The automatic black-out curtain was wonderful for sleeping in late, as it truly blocked out the sun. The bathroom was well appointed with many amenities.
We booked two massages and the spa is also one of the best I’ve experienced in China. Both massage therapists did a wonderful job at listening. The therapy room was huge, and more importantly, clean.
The swimming pool currently takes reservations, which made it pleasant since it wasn’t crowded. The breakfast buffet is very international and varied.
Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel, as well as having Frank take care of you.

I want to thank Mr. Frank Fang of NUO hotel for the outstanding accommodation he rendered to us. He went the extra mile to make our stay worthwhile. For all the requests and last-minute changes, Mr. Frank did his best to deliver what NUO promises. Thank you so much.
This has been my second stay at the NUO hotel, and all I can say is that it gets better each time. It is like a home you come back to. The comfort that NUO gives is unparalleled in the city. I have been to several hotels of varying accommodation levels. I could confidently say that this hotel is just there on top, unrivaled.
Everything is smooth: from the reception to room attendant and restaurant personnel. I love how within a day, I got to mingle with them. There was an instance when a waitress talked to me about how she remembered me from before. This was something that made me feel that NUO is indeed a home away from home.
The room at NUO is something to look forward to. We were so lucky to be able to get the wide-angle view (see picture). It is so spacious, and everything is placed in a way that facilitates fluid movement. Staying in their room is the best definition of what a relaxing staycation is.
The food at NUO is something to look forward to. We were able to experience their renowned Sunday Brunch. I must say, the reviews are true. It is the best in town. A wide selection of food choices is available: Indian, Japanese, Asian fusion, Western such as Italian, a plethora of desserts, and so on.
Staying at NUO is something that I always look forward to. Just like the excitement of coming home, entering the artistic and grand lobby of NUO gives you that same feeling.
I will definitely come back soon to my home away from home.

Right from the start I was impressed with the attentive service which started days before my arrival. They inquired about my travel details and any special requests I might have. Since it was my wife's first time ever to Beijing we actually had a lot of special requests to organise our daily sightseeing in advance. Once we arrived we had a very friendly greeting at the Train Station and a very pleasant conversation during our drive to the Nuo hotel. We had a very warm welcome at the hotel and were straight away taken to the room where some very tasty amenities awaited us. Before they were replaced the next day, we were actually asked what we like and the replenished fruits were preapred to our preference. The room was in perfect condition and we rested soundly after our walk on the Chiense wall and the various other trips we did over the 3 days in Beijing. Another highligt was the breakfast at the lounge ... even so that the main restaurant was closed, the Team up on the Cllub level in service and kitchen did an incredible job. Very attentive and when we returned for the 2 day breakfast they asked us if we wanted to eat and drink the same we had the day before. It was a perfect stay and I can only highly recommend to stay with them ... we for sure will return if and when we travel back to Beijing.

For about 1000 rmb ($150)/night, the NUO is a great value. This is the same brand at Universal Studios Beijing which is also a very nice hotel. The lobby design is nicely done and inspired by ancient Chinese culture. However, they went a little too far with that theme. As you go upstairs, the corridors and rooms begin to feel depressingly dark. The property is beginning to show its age and is in need of a cleaning and refresh. Check in was surprisingly wonderful. The staff genuinely tried to be thoughtful and helpful to ensure a pleasant stay. Probably unknown to many people the rooms have a valet box where a hidden panel in the hallway wall allows the staff to pass food trays into the room without opening the front door. Although this is an attempt to differentiate, it's a security risk despite their surveillance system. At check in they attempted to give us a room on a higher floor with a better view but the room we got had a malfunctioning heater. They immediately switched us to another room on the same floor. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We had a good night's rest. Breakfast was basic. It didn't stand out in any way good or bad. Although it was sunny outside, the breakfast lounge was dark and a bit gloomy. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and the staff was very thoughtful and proactive, but aside from the attractive value, I wouldn't stay too often because their attempt for some cultural relevant design, forgot about modern design elements like lighting. It is almost the equivalent of using redwood Chinese furniture everywhere and without mattresses or cushions. Once or twice ok, but not all the time.

We met Frank while hotel hunting for our elopement in Beijing, and he told us to look no further, that NUO would take good care of us and make our day special. He was absolutely right! We felt so at home and spoiled at NUO. Everything was so elegant and yet so comfortable at the same time, and we were even left a hand-written note and a bottle of wine on the table in our room as a wedding gift from Frank. For my husband and I who cannot travel to either our home countries together for a wedding right now, Frank's attention to our stay at the beautiful NUO hotel made our day feel personal and special and unforgettable. All of the staff throughout the hotel, lobby, and breakfast lounge (highly recommend the breakfast!!!) were incredibly helpful and had such kind and welcoming demeanors. We are going to look for every excuse to spoil ourselves with a stay at NUO again!!

I stayed here for a staycation end of January. It was my daughters birthday and the staff, in particular Oscar and Hannah, went above and beyond to make it a special time for her. They had prepared the room beautifully and had flowers 💐 , balloons 🎈 and cookies 🍪 placed in the room on our arrival. We had a lovely afternoon tea in the lobby and later they placed a chocolate birthday cake 🍰 in the room. We were also allowed an early check in and check out. It was our second time to stay at Nuo and we would definitely recommend it, especially if it’s your birthday 🎁.

There wasn’t a door between the rooms in our room nor was there a sofa bed.
The best idea would be to message the hotel directly about available rooms. They are extremely helpful and speak English very well.

Hi. I have dined at the Nuo Hotel lunch buffet many times. They always have at least two Indian vegetarian options on the buffet. As well as an extensive range of Indian breads, vege pakoras. They have a least one full time Indian executive chef in the kitchen to
Produce the Indian special foods. So I think you should be OK for breakfast if you make a special request to the hotel.
There are more places to choose from in the Beijing area.
