Detailed Reviews
Comfortable hotel but certainly in need of some paint and general repairs. Staff were friendly at front desk.
We had to advise hotel that smoking was allowed too close to entrance way so whole of downstairs foyer smelt of cigarette smoke.
Room has typical Asian setup of 2 beds rather than one large one for a couple. Air Con was cold and shower leaked water onto floor. Old furniture and had a damp smell. However - worked out just on US$70 a night so for the cost it was budget style - so you get what you paid for.

We spent 4 nights here in early January. We booked 3 rooms for the 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children. They accommodated this request and our rooms were next to each other. The rooms are well sound proofed and comfortable. The bathroom was great for China with good strong hot water.
Most of the staff spoke some English and all were helpful.
The location is excellent with the Wangfujing pedestrian Mall only 200 m away (approx). There are convenience stores across the road and a noodle shop. We walked to Tienanmen Square, the Forbidden CIty and the Beijing railway station so all are doable from here.
Free breakfast was good but the dinner buffet is a bit overpriced.
We stayed on the 8th floor and had no smokey smell or noise that others suggest on here. If anything the foyer always smelt of strong incense. We had a great experience here.

It's a hotel near shopping areas like Wangfujing Road that isn't too expensive. This hotel may be a bit of a walk from the BTS, about 5-10 minutes by foot, but along the way there are some restaurants, not many. There is a 7-Eleven near the hotel. But if people travel the subway frequently, I think it might be a little close to the station, but you can walk. Most importantly, it's very close to Wangfujing Walking Street. Just a short walk to get there.
The hotel is in Chinese style. Maybe a little old But I've stayed at many hotels that are all like this. Decorated like our Asian hotels. The lobby has places to sit and rest. Some of the employees speak English. I stayed in a Superior King Room for about 3200 baht per night, not including breakfast. I think the room is big, big bed, lots of plugs, has a sofa, and the bathroom is ok. There is no bathtub. But haven't used it yet. Overall it's good.
Had the opportunity to use the gym. The gym is a bit old. The player is not very complete. Located on the southernmost floor, open late, open noon to midnight. So I don't get to use it much. The gym bathroom also has a shower room and sauna.
Overall considered good But a little far from the train station. Importantly, the price is very cheap compared to hotels in this area.

Rooms are spacious and seem clean but smell of cigarettes despite being non-smoking rooms. Air conditioner didn’t work and the room was unpleasantly warm, when we complained they just brought us a ventilator. We complained again so they brought us another ventilator. We understood they would not fix the AC or switch the room. Wifi basically doesn’t work and some of the staff are obtuse. Not the worst hotel I’ve stayed at, but won’t be returning.

Excellent location a stone's throw from the most famous pedestrian street of the city "Wangfujing" and 7 minutes from the Jinyu Hutong metro line 8 stop. This line, quite modern compared to others (three stations: Jinyu Hutong, Wangfujing and Qianmen in the central section were opened on December 31, 2021), reaches many city attractions, in addition to those already mentioned in the central area, the Olympic Park, the Scichahai stop (for the beautiful surrounding area and to be able to reach by taking the A2 exit and walking 5 minutes north to the Drum Tower and the Bell, or take the A2 exit, and then walk straight north for about five minutes until you reach the Drum Tower, or take exit C and walk in less than a km to the Jingshan Park north of the Forbidden City, originally an imperial garden, now a beautiful public park), etc.
Also very close is line 5, magenta, with the Dengshikou Station stop. This is also a very important line as it is the only one that connects the city from north to south with a daily passenger frequency of about one million people on weekdays. Also this line reaches places of tourist interest: the Lama Temple at Yonghegong Station (Lama Temple), exit F and then 400 meters walk south along Yonghegong Dajie; the Confucius Temple itself stop of Lama Temple (it is almost opposite), exit G then walk south along Yonghegong Street and then west along Guozijian Street to the entrance of the temple; Temple of Heaven descending to Dongmen Station of Tiantan, exit A, very close to the east gate of the park.
From the hotel you can easily reach Tiananmen Square or Tian’anmen in just over thirty minutes on foot.
As mentioned, the hotel is close to two metro stations, however, to arrive Recommendation a didi for both the station and the airport. The metro network in Beijing is much older than the Shanghai and Xi’An lines and unfortunately many stations lack escalators both downhill and uphill, not really a pleasure when traveling with large suitcases.
The rooms slightly dated but still comfortable.
Hard bed, but that's fine with me.
The shower drain sends a bit of a bad smell.
Little competent staff, we wanted a hand to check in the Air China flight practically impossible to do on our own, after more than half an hour he realized that we did not want a room, but help with the flight and they told us to do it at the airport.
I had chosen the room without breakfast, but when I saw the prices of a coffee in the nearby premises I decided to do it in the hotel at the price of 55 Yuan per person:
Breakfast is quite varied, very salty oriented.
The breakfast room in my opinion undersized compared to the customers of the hotel so much that it was often difficult to find a seat and on a couple of occasions I decided to do it in the outdoor tables.

My family stayed in the Sunworld Hotel Beijing in July. The renovated rooms are large, modern, spacious, and clean. Each room had an air purifier.
The AC worked well and the bathrooms had good water pressure in the showers. In addition, if you forgot to bring basic amenities you could ask the front desk for toothbrush set or comb. Umbrellas were provided at the front desk when it rained outside.
As for location, we couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. The train station was a 5 minute walk away, the Forbidden City was just down the street and Wangfujing Pedestrian Street was just around the corner. Access to food was easy and there were convenience stores close by.

+1
Really nice tourist class hotel located not far from the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Wangfuging Street which is the Chinese version of the Champs Eleysse is just 100 meters away. We stayed in a twin room which was quite spacious. They have interconnecting rooms if you have younger kids. The staff spoke basic English and the breakfast was ok but packed each morning. You can do a really good buffet dinner for 129RMB. Just over the road is a Muslim halal restaurant that serves amazing noodle dishes for just a few dollars. Highly recommended would stay again

We stayed for 7 nights at Sunworld Hotel. We were given a renovated superior King-size bedroom. Room was spacious & clean. Staff were friendly & helpful. We appreciate most is its excellent location. It is located between two subway stations of different subway lines, both within 5 minutes walk. It is just next to WANGFUJING shopping area and is within walking distance to TIANANMEN & Forbidden city. There are many restaurants nearby. We also like the basement supermarket diagonally opposite the hotel where we get our snack, extra drinking water & fruits. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and our choice was driven by the location. Excellent choice. right in the centre of Beijing, a few steps away from Wangfujing road and all its shops and lights. Everything was at the doors steps, ATMs, convenience stops, Metro station! Overall the hotel was excellent. We've got a top floor room, very spacious, very well kept - the bathroom was nicely designed with a fantastic shower! The breakfast was mostly oriented to asian type of cuisine, however still available some sweet choice with jams, croissants, etc. anyway, good variety of food. Certainly, the only issue we could find was related to the language - even at reception, almost nobody could speak or understand English - we took advantage of some translations apps ... but this is quite typical in China as far we understood!

Hi, Im sorry but I cant really help you. I suggest you contact the hotel directly.
Hi Jorge R. I don't know the answer to your question, sorry. We arrived at the train station on the Trans Siberian train. I do know we got a taxi from the train station and got ripped off. If I was you I'd contact the hotel, if you can, and see how much a pick up will be. We used their taxi service to go to the airport when left and it was quite reasonable. But it's hit and miss trying to arrange something because most of the staff on the front desk don't speak much English. I hope you have a great trip.
Yes, there was one by the study desk in my room. Take an extension lead with you so you can plug in multiple items.
