Just stayed here for 5 nights for a first visit to Beijing. Lovely clean lobby area and on the 3rd floor is a huge open area with the restaurant and bar area. We had a room on the 7th floor overlooking the church, nice room plenty of space and clean bathroom. Breakfast was included in our price and that was a very nice buffet with plenty of choices for eastern and western food. We used the pool every day and it was never busy only us 2 most of the time. Take a swimming cap with you otherwise they will charge you for one.
The area was right on the Wangfujing main street with so many shopping malls, area was not dirty and it is very walkable to a lot of the main sights. Tianamen square around 30 mins, the Eastern side gate of the Forbidden Palace around 20 mins.
We ate in one of the restaurants one evening- meal was nice enough and not too overpriced.
They didn't always restock the amenities in the bathroom but not a real problem.
Will recommend to anyone.

I stumbled upon this awesome and reasonably priced hotel by doing a Google search for places to stay in China! I am beyond happy that I chose to stay here. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by the staff in a very warm and welcoming way! The check in process was seamless....less than 10 mins! This was a huge plus because I had just landed after a 17 hour flight! The bellman was gracious enough to bring my bags to the room. When I entered the room it was so spotless and clean! I stayed in the superior room and it was fully stocked with tons of amenities which made my stay very enjoyable! The hotel has a wonderful breakfast buffet that was included in my room fee. It was a variety of food to choose from. All the food was tasty, fresh, and well prepared. The kitchen staff is eager to help and make your experience enjoyable during your meal.
This hotel is in the perfect location! It is near the infamous Wangfujing St. food, Forbidden city, and many other tourists sites. If you're planning to take a tour companies are eager to pick you up and drop you off at this hotel because it is conveniently located. Overall, I highly suggest this hotel for your stay in Beijing, China! ❤

Stayed here with family for 6 nights. Excellent location for shopping right on Wangfujing. 45 minute walk to The Forbidden city. Close to the subway. Nothing to complain about the rooms. Lots of amenities. Comfortable beds. And very clean. Pool and gym is also quite nice.
Breakfast buffet at hotel is excellent, though the atrium restaurant where it is served and where the hotel bar is located, is extremely charmless. You will do much better having a drink at the Crown Plaza hotel across the street. The Angus steak house restaurant in the Crown plaza is also worth a visit. Try the Cod, it is beautiful.
The complete lack of atmosphere in the common areas bring down the rating of the hotel. There are basically no seatings provided in the hotel lobby, and the lighting is quite rudimentary. So much more could be done to create a better experience with the space available in the atrium.

Stayed for three nights before a cruise with a family group. Fairly good choice of buffet food. Separate onsite restaurant. Eat there once and not much choice and I thought it was expensive.
Walking distance to shopping centre and close to Forbidden City and Tian’anmen Square.
Nice large open reception area. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

We booked this hotel based on the recommendations read on Tripadvisor. The hotel was just around the corner from Wangfujing Shopping Street in which you can find many modern department stores and a very interesting street food market. Our hotel room was very roomy and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Would certainly stay there again.
