This was such a treat to stay at the Peninsula!! The hotel is located in a popular part of Beijing. The customer service went above and beyond and I felt very welcomed. The breakfast had a wide variety of foods and if you have time, the Spa is a wonderful way to pamper yourself! The view from Yun is brilliant at sunset and the drinks and snacks are delicious!
We have had now a couple of times the pleasure to visit Jing Bar at the rooftop of Peninsula Hotel. And like always, Anne and her whole team were absolutely gorgeous, warm hearted and professional hosts. The cocktails were tasty and the view on Beijing scenery impressive. The sunset over the Western mountains produced a very special atmosphere. Thanks to Anne and her team for a wonderful night and some very special memories. You made us feel not just guests, but very welcome friends
Thanks for Jessy’s warm and patient service, you make us great afternoon tea time memory here. Classical afternoon tea, maybe there will be improvements of dessert? Scones are not good as it used to be…
Lounge atmosphere We really enjoyed it,have a nice music. The staff all so polite and helpful. Staff explain to us about the afternoon tea ingredient and also ask if we have any ingredient that have allergic. The afternoon tea tasted great
Best rooftop in Beijing! Today is the first day they open newly Sunday brunch at rooftop, beautiful view with delicious food and fantastic service! Will come back again for sure! (Special thanks to Ann, Max and Oliver, very nice service!)
We came to Peninsula and visit their French restaurant - Jing. It is located in the B1 floor, but the ambience was stunning. Very elegant and luxurious interior design, which let you forget about the stress of the city. The food served was delicious, especially their signature dishes recommended where amazing. My personal favorite was the Salmon. The staff took great care of us and Max and his team where attentive and created and unforgettable experience for us. We are big fans of this restaurant and will be back soon!
Jing is the best Birthday destination for me to celebrate the special occasion. The hostess girl Monica greeted us with 😊 and guided us to the arranged seat. Max the manager of Jing introduced the restaurant and the menu for us and we chose the four courses menu. Btw the marinated 🍣 was really gorgeous!!! Alvin and Sierra gave us the unforgettable experience at that night. We talked about the food and cooking method and also something we did recently. The team is very nice and friendly. Just Gooooo!
This is an absolutely fantastic experience. I love this property and the service there. All the staff there treated me very well and did everything they can to make this awesome and unforgettable stay. Especially the manager Henry Wan, he offered me lots of surprise for my birthday, even I am not yet my birthday, he still realised that and tried to organise everything for me. I can say this is the best hotel in Beijing, and I wish to travel back in the future as my home in Beijing.
The Peninsula is rated on Tripadvisor with an average of 5.0 points. You have to do that first and, above all, keep it. Actually, I don't have to make any further comments about a hotel with a rating of 5.0. I do it anyway. Why? Due to the pandemic situation in China, traveling outside of Beijing is not easy at the moment. Nevertheless, every now and then you still want to experience something nice and relax. The Peninsula is just the thing for that. Of course, the premises are excellent and spacious. But that's not all. It's the way you are welcomed in this hotel. Very open and very warm-hearted. That makes the difference between dealing professionally with guests and receiving a warm welcome. So you feel a little at home despite the geographical distance to your home country. We had the privilege of being able to take part in a Christmas event specifically aimed at Chinese children. Yes, it can only be compared to a similar event in Europe to a limited extent. But the glow in the children's eyes was the same. And that's what ultimately matters from a child's perspective. Colorful and impressive, Santa Claus had a nice word and a present for each of the young spectators. I admit, I've never experienced Christmas like this, but I don't want to miss it in my memory. At dinner it also became clear why the Peninsula's Jing restaurant has a Michelin star. The new French Chef de Cuisine William Mahi really manages to animate his kitchen brigade to extraordinary achievements. Every dish was on point and the excellent wines were absolutely corresponding. And here, too, the personal address combined with the feeling of being simply welcome as a guest. To cut the story short, the night's sleep was perfect. The absolutely soundproof windows and a bed that was neither too hard nor too soft made sure of that. And all of this in an ambience that is simply generous and has left absolutely nothing to be desired. The next morning breakfast joined the excellent impression in terms of quality and lushness. A generous check-out scheme ended an impressive weekend. There is no question that if we want to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city of Beijing again, the Peninsula comes first. A manager of Peninsula told me during our stay: "We live hospitality and don't just work in a hotel!" That is true and there is nothing to add…
I can always count on the Sunday Brunch at the Lobby Bar. The western cuisine is the trump card, for the recent Christmas brunch, the roast turkey and the baked ham bring me the nostalgia. The Chinese cuisine is the neck and neck, the chicken broth and Choi mien with crayfish are the highlights. The ambience is also a plus, with the jazz abound and the Christmas tree embroidered with gifts and great hospitality from all staff here, who can ask for more. Thanks Elaine and Lori, my great pleasure to see you. May you, your teams and all the staff at Peninsula Beijing a very happy Christmas~
