Booked & stayed for 3 nights, stayed here because my friend was familiar with thr location. Was very happy to find the room is clean . However, very bad service from one of its staff... Asking to borrow a scissors to cut some items in my room, the staff refuse my request straight away , should i want to borrow it, i should bring all those stuff i need to cut to the lobby... Ridiculous!! The manners that she answer my request was very unfriendly and cold.. cant expect much of a one star hostel

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The only reason I chose it was the location. It locates very close to Wudaokou subway and close to the shopping center. But the facilities, room service were just so so. It was a old building and the room was a little bit smelly and small.

We stayed here for 4D/3N. Our friend chose this hotel since they're quite familiar with the district. The area is quite known to be the designated area for students who would like to learn Mandarin as schools like BLCU, Tsinghua, etc. are located here. The room size I stayed at was okay and the bathroom size was average. I don't have much to say since we only went back to the hotel to rest. As for location, it is situated in a very convenient place. Just right outside the hotel is a mini-mart. Nearby are tons of restaurants, bars, pubs, etc. if you want to enjoy a bit of the student culture around the area. What I find great about these establishments is that they close late and most of them close way past midnight. If you're too lazy to wander farther away, you need not worry about running out of places to hangout, dine and/or drink around the area. Reaching the touristy spots like Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, etc. is a bit far but is easily reachable through public transport. The metro is located right across the hotel on the opposite side. The nearest bus stop is only around 5-10 away on a normal walking pace. The bus and metro rates are flat (1 RMB and 2 RMB respectively) regardless of where you end up whether it be far or close by. Overall, I'd say I really enjoyed staying at LTH Hotel. The district has a much younger vibe and you can feel the multi-cultural landscape here at times. Very convenient as there are lot's of nearby places to hangout. The nearest Metro and bus stops are just close by.
