This has become my regular Sunday destination because it offers a balance between known comforts and surprising menu additions. Service is an obvious stand out element at this brunch. Firstly, managers on the floor lead by example, with Seven and Mia leading by example. Secondly, chefs are simply brilliant, with Exec Sous chef Jonas backed by a highly motivated team of chefs. Stand out dishes recently have been the beautifully shucked David Herve oysters - seriously perfectly sucked retaining the liquor. chef Chen, cold kitchen sous chef, must be commended. Finally, for an additional surcharge, the foie gras is simple sensationally presented by Chef Barry - it is worth paying extra for this. Finally, waiters and waitresses, especially the bar team, really do all they can to enhance the guest's experience. Overall, a brilliant brunch that is packed with value for money.

We have stayed in so many Hyatt’s and similar hotels across the world. This one is truly top notch. Amazing facility with a bamboo forest built right into the lobby. Exceedingly clean-from the rooms to the common areas to the restaurants, open kitchens, gym spa and pool. Absolutely sparkling. But it’s the attention to detail that the gaff pays to the their guests that really makes this hotel stand out. We were welcomed as guests but treated like family. We were here under extreme circumstances (zero policy). The hotel became a haven. The mgmt on down cared greatly. The rooms have a beautiful view into soho, the concierge desk super accommodating in helping us learn the tools to get around in this city, the cleaning staff always there cleaning cleaning cleaning. The restaurants covered the globe with their choices on the menu/buffet. such a well managed hotel. So impressed.

It was truly a fantastic experience staying at the Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing. Throughout my stay, the service was flawless and attitude, impeccable. It is evident that the staff took much huge pride in working at the property and this is very much commendable, especially under the pandemic environment.
At check-in, I was attended to by Lena, who was super helpful and kind. She recognized my Globalist status, and kindly upgraded me to the Regency Suite, which was very much appreciated. She also took time to introduce me to the amenities at the Hotel, and noted that my welcome pack, consisting of red wine, fruits and snacks, will be brought up to my room later. Despite the COVID environment which brought about additional documentation requirements, the check-in was super smooth and perhaps one of the most efficient one I’ve experienced throughout my stays in Mainland China. This would not have been possible and took time to introduce me to the amenities and offerings at the hotel. Her enthusiasm glowed and left me a great first impression to the property.
Taking advantage of the Globalist benefit for 4pm checkout, I spent sometime in the afternoon reading at the Regency Club. Chris Chen, Manager of the Regency Club, was super helpful and kind. When my card to my room didn’t seem to work, he promptly assisted me to reset the card and even offered me to stay till 5pm, what a kind gesture! When I needed to pack up some of my stuff, he was also able to help me find a Regency paper bag, which I very much appreciate. I later checked out of my room at the Regency Club, and Chris helped me through the process in a super enthusiastic and efficient manner. He and the staff I met throughout my stay are true ambassadors of the property and the leadership should be proud to have such wonderful staff working for the Hotel.
Overall, it was a fabulous experience staying at the Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing – this would not have been possible without the warm hospitality and distinctive care and service extended to me by members of the Hotel. Thank you for a great job well done!

This hotel combines sparkingly clean, large rooms, a great breakfast buffet in the dining room basking in natural light, with a good gym, and excellent service. The views of the stunning Wangjing Soho buildings add to the charm. It's near the airport, a walk away from 798 art district and the Wangjing business district. I have stayed there abt 20 times and have never been disappointed. One of the best value for money business hotels in China. Bravo !!

Our family spent a week at the Hyatt Regency Wangjing shortly after China reopened to foreign visitors.
We could not have asked for a better stay. Our suite was modern, clean, and well appointed; the Regency Club was fantastic with helpful staff, excellent breakfast and evening spreads; and the wellness facilities excellent. Between the large pool, hot and cold dipping pools, sauna, and well equipped gym — it was easy to both workout and relax.
The only consideration for tourists is the hotel’s location.
Located in Wangjing, it was a good location for where we needed to spend our time, but for those visiting Beijing and planning to spend time in central or west Beijing, you may want to consider a closer location. There is no direct subway line to central Beijing, and a DiDi/Taxi during rush hour would take close to 45-60 min.
That said, if the location works for you, this is a perfect hotel to stay at!

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency Wangjing, however, a few areas of disappointment are the long and inefficient checkin process, no clearly marked member checkin line and the pricey breakfast that lacks selection. The hotel also offers a pool, but it’s shared with local community members, which means its usually packed in the summer. This hotel is nice. I liked how they had real bamboo trees growing inside it. Staff were all friendly and very accommodating and helpful. They were generous and provided 4 bottles of water everyday in my room. Not sure if they do this for everyone or if it's because I'm an Explorist member. Overall I do recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.
Things to be aware of: The buttons to call the elevator are touch sensitive and not actual buttons. Not always responsive, but you get used to it. The electronic key for the Hyatt app takes time to load so sometimes you're in the elevator standing there while you are trying to swipe your phone on the reader so you can select your floor. Kinda annoying that I just kept the physical keycard (which is made of bamboo) on me. Swimming requires you to wear a swimcap. Even for kids. The lifeguard loaned us one. You can buy a cap there but it's like 6x overpriced. I had free breakfast at the Market Cafe that I didn't know about at checkin. So ask to see if your room includes free breakfast. The breakfast food at the Market Cafe didn't change across the 15 day stay I had there, but there's enough variety that it's fine. There is a Lawson convenient store on the side of the building but you need to walk outside the lobby to get to it. Still convenient though. There really isn't much nearby as it's more of a business area. There is a Capital Mall to the West which is decent and about a 10-15min walk.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for the first time in August when we were packing up to leave Beijing after 25 years. We liked it so much that when we came back to visit this time, we chose to try the hotel for a longer stay of almost 2 weeks. It did not disappoint. Every person we interacted with was helpful and professional. The room we chose was a King Bed Deluxe with Club Access. It was good sized and well laid out and therefore very comfortable. Had a nice walk in closet and a 2 sink bathroom. A generous bar area with ample space for all sundry items onne would have for a long stay. Hotel location is kind of halfway between the Capital International Airport and downtown Beijing. It is close to a subway station and one could easily get into the city. We like it because it is close to where we used to live. Lots of shopping centres and restaurants close by. There is a park across the road where one can walk or jog outside. So yes, this really was a home away from home for us.
