The words "exclusive" and "luxurious" are often exaggerations: at Mara Bushtops they fit like a glove. Watching from your own 100 square metre private deck as an abundance of wildlife congregates around the adjacent salt lick is, literally, unforgettable. Having your butler draw your hot tub after a spectacular game drive is heaven while our award-winning safari spa takes Wild Luxury to new heights. Together, these experiences create an oasis of five-star luxury, blending peace with adventure.

This property is definitely a class above its competitors when it comes to service, meals, rooms and facilities. It is not often I am blown away but this is a camp for the discerning safari visitor that wants all their creature comforts in the middle of the bush but in relaxed

This has probably been the best holiday we have ever taken, and we have to thank Lawrence and his team for such a wonderful stay at Mara Bushtops. Their commitment to client satisfaction showed from the very beginning, through the booking process where Gideon responded to our

This lodge and spa, situated on its own wildlife conservancy close to Masai Mara National Reserve, has taken hospitality to a whole new level. Expect personalized attention from every member of the hotel at every turn. The manager Lawrence truly made us feel at home in the wild.

I have never stopped at bushtoos but does look very luxurious. We stayed at little governors where the balloons take off from and is definitely worth it drifting along the Mara winds permitting or along the plains then a god hearty breakfast.Temperatures do fluctuate but once the sun is up then it is hot but expect occasional showers so pack a lightweight coat or a poncho. Nights and early mornings are cool so take a warm jumper too as you will need these as you can get cold rushing around on game drives. Take breakfast with you also as it allows more time on the plains. Hope this helps and enjoy

It is up to your discretion of course, but I think general guidelines are 5$ per person per day for your ranger/driver. Mara will provide you with an envelope where you can leave tip for the staff and it will be contributed equally- again 5$ per person per day is suggested. If you are extremely happy with your ranger as we were, we tipped more :)

It depends on which season. I don't think they answer directly. All bookings are through 3 party companies.
