Travelodge Myeongdong City Hall is often praised for its pristine amenities and the overall cleanliness of the establishment. Guests have called out the helpful staff and the modern, comfortable atmosphere of the rooms, which are complemented by a cheerful music ambiance during breakfast.

Detailed Reviews
Excellent hotel and a convenient location. The staff here is excellent. One of the receptionists, Daniel, was very helpful in explaining the different areas and made me feel welcome. It was very easy to communicate with him because he spoke English as a native.
Key point: the airport limousine bus from Incheon stops at the Plaza hotel. You can see this Travelodge from the Plaza Hotel and easily navigate to it.
The rooms are clean and a good size and have enough space for luggage. There is a washer/dryer for guests that uses coins. There are many restaurants near this area. There is also a palace nearby.
Overall, an excellent hotel with knowledgeable and welcoming staff.

This is a great location for people wanting to experience Seoul and not want to have to travel all across the city just to get to their hotel. Located a a short walk from city hall station, you are close to pretty much everything.
The room was quiet and stylish and there was even a spa located on site. While we didn't go in we certainly will check it out the next time we are up in Seoul. The area around the hotel is great too. If you are looking for places to eat, this is a great spot.

The Chinese name displayed here at Travelodge Myeongdong Cityhall is a bit strange. The airport bus gets off at the Plaza Hotel and is convenient to walk over. The hotel staff speak English fluently and have no problem communicating. We even met foreign employees. The room is bright and clean, the air conditioner can be adjusted to warm or cold, but it is too hot. The bathroom has shampoo and shower gel, but no conditioner, no toothpaste and toothbrush supplies, and the water pressure is strong and hot enough. There is no bottled water, but there is a water dispenser in the hallway. The room we stayed in was a corner room with bright windows on both sides, but it was located on a lower floor with no view, and you could hear the noise from the street outside. The curtains at the head of the bed are too short. In the morning, sunlight will filter in through the bottom gap and just hit your face to wake you up. There is no ice cream compartment in the refrigerator. You can walk to Myeongdong, where there are many authentic restaurants and convenience stores downstairs. There is a wowpass machine in the hotel lobby, and there is also a machine where you can sign up for a local tour. I saw the dmz tour for 95,000won per person.

Spent 9 nights in the hotel for family of 4. Hotel space is decent and clean. However the aircon was very noisy. Bathroom comes with a bathtub and my son enjoyed soaking in the bathtub. There isn't a separate space for shower so you will need to stand in the bathtub for shower too. Won't recommend it if you have old folks. I booked the hotel with breakfast voucher. The breakfast venue was very pleasant with cheerful music playing at the background. However food selection is very very limited. Most items are repetitive like fried rice, scrambled eggs and miso soup. There are two 7 eleven stores near the hotel and its about 15 mins walk to the metro station. Nearby the hotel , you will find many eateries. Have to comment the service staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. BTW there is also a weighing scale at the hotel lobby. Overall experience is pleasant

Pros: the location is excellent, near two subway lines, two bus stops, all attractions get about equidistant from the hotel. also near many good establishments (burgers, bars and others) where you can eat. The room is quite spacious for Korea. Quick checkout.
Cons: very high humidity, no drying at all in the room (you can wash and dry, but pay). Strangely implemented bathroom - glass door either closes the shower part of the bathroom (with the toilet remaining open for the entire room) or the entire bathroom. The need to clean and change towels - you need to either warn in the morning at the reception. There is a large-scale construction near the hotel, the window cannot be opened - there are sounds and dust from the construction. From the room, even if checked into the room the two are given one card, it is inconvenient because even the elevator works only from it.
That is, in essence, you can choose this hotel if you care about the location.

This hotel is very well situated for sightseeing, shopping and eating. It has spacious rooms that are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful for any of your needs while you stay there. There are water purifiers on each floor where you can get cold water to fill your water bottle. The room rates are affordable and worth the money. We stayed in 205 on the 2nd floor. Comfortable bed and quality bedding.

The location is great. It's close to the station. However, the closest one, No. 7 at City Hall, can only be accessed by stairs. If you have a suitcase, you can use elevator No. 1 across the wide road. There are many delicious Korean restaurants in the area, "Bukchang," and I ate there several times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and was satisfied with all of them. As for the room, it was unfortunate that the bathtub was not cleaned properly on some days, and the tea bags were not replenished on other days. One of the ceiling lamps was out, but it was quickly fixed within a few hours. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

I lived in Seoul for six years previously. I have returned a few times and will stay at this location from now on. USB charging stations and built in adaptors for electronics. New bath tub and modern design. Soft bed by Asian standards. There was a safe for valuables. TV had English channels. Close to so many major attractions. Three starbucks within a five minute walk. Close airport bus. Underground shopping that guides you to Meyongdong Eljiro 1 and City Hall station.I stayed six nights. Check in and check out were smooth and was able to leave my bags onsite because i was early for check in and had time to kill before my flight after check out.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We once needed body wash in the middle of the night, and their staff immediately send to us. The location is near myeong dong which is ideal for us as there is easy access for shopping and food.
Very satisfied with our experience!

This hotel has been great for the money. Its in a prime location, clean, friendly staff and comfortable. My only complaint is that the floors in the rooms are extremely slippy and the lifts are very small. I am disabled and use a walking aid so these are of particular importance to me. Just be careful if you have mobility issues, otherwise lovely stay.

If you take the Airport Limo Bus, your driver will put your luggage in the underside storage area. There's plenty of room for large bags. If they are particularly awkward or heavy, I would offer him/her an additional tip. The Limo Bus is by far the best way to get to the hotel.
We are afraid that we do not have.
Thank you.
