The location of the hotel is very good. Rooms are very comfortable and you can have a good rest there, BUT: Looks like the staff of the hotel don’t care and don’t like their guests at all, sometimes being rude. I saw only the one person who was friendly and she was a nice housekeeper. Waiters in the restaurant are EXTREMELY slow, sometimes they could disappear for 10-15 minutes. Also, waitresses in the casino downstairs are super rude, one of them rolled her eyes when she didn’t hear something. We were playing Blackjack and sometimes we had to repeat our order for drinks 3 times. For such a hotel, the service is awful, and I would never like to come back here ever again.
Located in the heart of the old Tbilisi, the Ambassadori hotel was a right choice to explore the city. The new hotel part is recently restored. The old is still waiting for the face lift which it really needs. However the overall hotel impression was still good: the breakfast, the spa, pool and inner open to the sky courtyard had provided that well needed break for the mind and soul. The staff was very helpful at the front desk and in the restaurants: any request was met with smile and efficiency. I can't thank them enough for helping us with the in house PCR test arrangements: the nurse came to our rooms and the results were ready in less than 12 hours. Thank you Ambassadori hotel for the pleasant experience and true Georgian hospitality.
initial data 1. I am reduce mobility person. I can stand and walk just using crutches. 2. I have stay in this hotel 3 times last week (not 3 nights. 3 times check in and chek out) 3. If I know hotel, I try book the room without booking.com for safe commission for the hotel. 4. Yesterday 18/09/2020 before depart by plane from Batumi, I called to reception of hotel for book the room. I asked the employee about available 304 room (I like this room) - yes. This room is available I ASKed ABOUT PRICE. The price will be same like last my stays? Yes the price will same. Ok. I am started from Batumi and will check in 2 hours later. Finally 1. reception desk person - was without mask!!! 2. Check in time was too long - during 10-15 minutes I didnt get a key! I left reception and went to restraurant for diner. After diner (+ 1 hour) I went back to the reception and found out that the room I asked for 4 hours ago is not ready! Ok. That no problem, I ready for change the room, but WHY FOR CHECK THIS INFORMATION NEEDS SO LOT TIME?!?! Totally I stand near reception about 40 minutes! Do you remember that I can only stand using crutches? 3. After that I was ready for pay and last moment before press my pin, I have check the price - the sum was more than we agreed on the phone!!! I asked "WHY?" "BECOUSE I called to manager and he agreed just this price." Ok. This is business. The price can increased. But why Guga didnt inform me before the payment? The time was 1 AM. I was outraged and left the hotel full of negative emotion. If you read this text, that mean what nobody from management of hotel didn't check reviews and didn't answer. I with the husband have been in this hotel for 4 nights and had a very good time. Breakfasts were very tasty, food, service at a high level. Unfortunately, the spa, gym, swimming pool didn't work during our visit. The room was cleaned every day.
Bad luck with remodeling in th reception. The rooms were clean well keept with comfortable beds. The spa was relaxing with tio different saunas and a pool.Breakfast was great with many options. The casino bar was crowded in The evening but relaxing in The afternoon.
