This hotel is in a great location, close to town. It also has beautiful views. The hotel is Chinese owned. As Americans staying there, it's helpful to note that nothing was written or labeled in English. The walls are very thin, you can hear your neighbors in rooms close by. They provide two small water bottles, it would have been helpful to have more water. The details seemed inexpensive- thin towels and sheets. When we first got there they gave us a room on the second floor, and a large family with children was staying above us. We had to request to change rooms due to the noise of the children running around above us. The 3rd, or top floor, was much nicer. There's no free wifi in the rooms, you must go to the hotel lobby for slow but free wifi. They will offer you transport to the airport for $20/person. The pool and views are very nice, and it's a convenient walk to grab food or get to the shop you are diving with. The room was advertised as "soundproof" on Travelocity, where we booked, and this was NOT true at all.…
The hotel is well placed, rooms are clean and it is quiet. The highlight is really the staff. They are many and always ready to help! Breakfast is very nice and the staff always asked us what we wanted to have beforehand. There is no sandy beach in the front of the hotel (don't be fooled by the photos), it is more like a port, hehehe, but i still would recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Koror. Diving with Fish and Fins dive school was great!
We came for two days after a life aboard in Palau. We do like the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. There were only 4 rooms occupied. We had the swimming pool our own and everything was quite and relax. In the other hand there is a lack of any service apart from the breakfast buffet. There is no WiFi, no kitchen for lunch or dinners... We didn’t mind it cost 5$ to get anywhere by taxi around but it’s true they should have better service for the price you are paying. The breakfast buffet is average.
The resort lacks just about everything. They have a huge restaurant, but it is only open for breakfast. You are obliged to leave the premises to eat something. The Bar serves instant Noodles soups only. The coconuts are so old that you can’t possible drink them anymore. We asked several times when they will get fresh ones, but every time the answer was, the manager doesn’t want to buy. On our check-out day, we stayed a bit longer at the breakfast table, until we were kicked out. During the whole week we never saw more than 6 other guests. The pool is closed from 12:00-14:00h. The 6-8 Standup Paddle boards displayed are not for rent, just for display. Would have been so nice to paddle in front of the hotel. Swimming isn’t allowed either. The housekeeping staff is not well trained. We hanged our wet clothe to dry over the chairs and moved them under the roof. Two days in a row the cleaner moved the chairs out and both days our clothes were soaked wet from the rain. There is no Hotel Car service, so be prepared to walk long distances. You can call a restaurant to pick you up. Lastly, there is no wifi. You must buy a card yourself and use the hotspot. We have been in some restaurant where wifi is free, but not in this hotel. We feel we paid way too much for this Hotel, without any service. What was the most upsetting parts are the Turtles in the little pond. There is some little Hawksbill Turtles, but there is a big Turtle as well, which is absolutely cruel. She is full of moos and without the cleaner fish, the poor thing needs to get cleaned somehow. They are also begging for food. I haven’t seen anyone in one week feeding them. We are coming to Palau to dive and see animals in nature, not in captivity being abused. We enjoyed the view and the sunsets. …
