We loved our stay at the Palau Central Hotel. The breakfast was delicious each morning with lots of variety. We had paid for a room with a view, but when we were originally placed in a non-view room that was, nevertheless, facing the back of the hotel, we requested a change. This error was quickly amended without question or hassle. Everyone was so very easy to work with and willing to please including making our dinner reservations at local restaurants and requesting transportation for us. The room was kept spotless and everything worked perfectly. The rooms were so quiet, the bed very comfortable, and lots of hot water! We ate dinner several nights on our balcony watching the sunset. The market was within easy walking distance. Even the wifi was fast. I can't think of a thing they could improve on. If we make it back to Palau we will definitely stay here again.

For the past 7 months I’ve been lucky to be able to stay at Central Hotel. Since the first day the staff has been very welcoming, proactive and helpful to make my stay as smooth as it’s been.
What can you say when you live above Palau’s nightlife hotspot while still enjoy the total quietness of the rooms. It is just the most convenient place for all kinds of travelers, from solo looking to make memorable moments to families who seek for tranquility and calmness which is very much found on the pool area overlooking the beauty of niko bay.
Regarding breakfast.... maybe the best in Micronesia. Fresh fruits, warm pastries, included a la carte eggs, omelets, waffles and all you can think about. Defenetly the best breakfast in Palau, open since the early hours of the morning for those who start their day early.
Once the day is over, nothing beats the feeling of getting back to the room and enjoying the spectacular views of niko bay Either from the spacious balconies or even from bed. Palau Central offers one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, overseeing the whole bay go to sleep. And not only, every morning during sunrise you can witness big flocksy of birds hunting for sardines that get pushed to the surface by underwater predators. It’s really a show that you don’t want to miss, all with the confort and cleanliness of the room, which has complementary coffee and snacks.
The rooms are big, clean and well organized. My room had a big flat screen tv with many pay per view channels included. The Bed is very wide with very Nice sheets and conforters and many pillows. The bathroom is also very Nice. There Was a big bathtub and a shower with a massive shower head.
I would really recomend palau central hotel to any traveler that comes into palau! Its very clean, confortable and convenient and it has the best staff of any hotel in palau!

Having spent several weeks staying here, the Palau Central Hotel is the ONLY place that should be where everyone stays. The owners, staff, and locals make you feel like one of the family from the moment you walk in the hotel, to the daily free amenities, the restaurant, and bar. From the smiling faces at check in, who take the time to know each person by name, to the fantastic chefs and bar tenders who know what you want the minute you walk in the door, from day 1 it was like nothing was for want. Need a dive tour, scuba lessons, or boat trip around the Rock Islands, done, The hotel staff had it all , and can arrange it for you and your party within minutes. The hotels beautiful scenery from the meticulously clean rooms daily, to free wireless 24 /7 puts this right at a 5 star vacation level. Can not wait to return, Thanks to all the folks who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Looking forward to seeing all again soon. Thank you.

My wife and I were here for 3 nights, meeting the waiting driver at ROR Airport and arriving at this hotel at 3:30PM.
A nice receptionist made the check in quick and easy, filling out a short form, verifying my credit card, collecting the key and following the driver down the 1st floor hallway.
Room #2103 had wood patterned tile and was the perfect size for its comfortable king, long shelf-desk unit with Keurig coffee machine, water, refer, large TV(clear BBC, CNN and ~50 more channels), secure room wifi and a quiet wall AC. A spacious bathroom included a tile shower, large vanity and heated Japanese toilet. A sliding door opened to a concrete patio with a table and 2 chairs and view to the parking lot.
The 6AM breakfast buffet is complete and run by 2 lovely cooks who prepare/serve oatmeal and omelets to your preference. Starting at 11:30AM, lunch and dinner is available at the popular adjoining Canoe House Restaurant where we enjoyed 2 excellent meals. I used the small 4 station gym and we both swam in the clean long narrow pool.
We walked 220m west to the large Surangel’s Supermarket and rented a car($65 with insurance) to circle Babeldaob island and tour Koror and Malakal Islands
We were very pleased with this friendly, quiet hotel which included airport transfers($66 RT), nice breakfast, good restaurant and 24 hour reception.

I highly recommend this hotel. It has up to date layout and design, with extremely helpful front desk personnel. The guest room is plenty large and has all features one could expect including comfortable bet, quiet and efficient AC, power outlets and usb charging. Good size TV with multiple international channels, toilet room has interesting architectural features and is large enough. The garden in the back of the hotel has a pool and some shaded areas that Include hammocks and a massage table. A driver is available 24/7 to get you anywhere nearby at no cost. A restaurant is attached to the front and is part of the hotel. They have a bar and music. Breakfast is included and has a very generous choice of items. Very enjoyable stay altogether.

This hotel really is one of the best on the island.
For starters the staff goes above and beyond. They were so friendly, and helpful accommodating us in the hotel, and coordinating activities in our free time. They have tons of local knowledge of the island and great suggestions for day trips.
The Canoe House is the attached Bar/Restaurant and it has consistent good food. Always piping hot out of the kitchen. I recommend the fish sandwich and the pizza!
Live music is featured several nights a week, and a really fun vibe at the bar for night life!
The pool area in the back has stunning views, great lounging areas and a nice refreshing pool.

My airplane was broken down in Palau and we were fortunate enough to find this gem.
Huge thanks to the staff at The Palau Central Hotel

I cannot say enough great things about Palau Central Hotel. Top notch service especially from Irene who made all of our activity bookings via email ahead of our arrival (diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing) as well as restaurant reservations. She anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. A Four Seasons could not match this level of personal service!

I also had two excellent massages at their spa next door. The massage therapists are trained in the Philippines, and the prices are a fraction of what you would pay in the US, and the massage is a lot better than what you would get at a high end resort.

We split our time between Palau Central and their sister property Palau Carolines. I highly recommend staying at both for two different experiences. They are both excellent.

We've stayed at Palau Central many times, for week-long stays. Great value/price! Professional and hospitable staff. The breakfast and Canoe House dining is excellent, too, and shops and markets are walking distance. Accommodating! Clean! Spacious rooms. Friendly! Treated like family at Palau Central. We're bringing a group of 30 young people here in 2022, and of all the places we looked into here in Koror State, this is THE best place to stay. Ever!

We've stayed here in spring, summer, winter and fall-- year round. Any time of the year is a great time to stay at Palau Central! We can't recommend it more highly! Elevator. Split a/c in every room. Ceiling fan. Wifi in the room. Filtered water and Keurig in the room.

The only thing I would change about my stay is to make it twice as long next time. The entire staff at the Palau Central was extremely accommodating, helpful and kind. They really make you feel welcome. The rooms and hotel are beautiful and very conveniently located. Breakfast was something to look forward to each day and the hotel’s restaurant was top notch. Next time I’m in Palau, I’ll be back for sure.

I stayed at PCH for 2 weeks and to be honest i was not expecting that level of classiness in such a remote place of the world, comfiest bed i have ever slept on in a hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needing to know about where to go. Below PCH is also The Canoe House which has great food and on certain nights of the week has live music which was also great.
