Its only good if you're on a liveaboard. The people were friendly on the island but would not really give any information about local restaurant, were very unfamiliar with directions, or local Island information. I'm not necessarily sure if they just didn't know or didn't want to share the information. The nickel and dime you to death for everything trying to go to any different state and or sightseeing. Everybody has their hand out. I spent the afternoon at one of our other friends hotel rooms who charged us $25 so that I could be at her poo and charge for poor internet sevice.

We spent a quick overnight at this facilty on our way to Peleliu the next day. The hotel was adequate. The room decor was okay - looked a lot like it was from the 1950’s - it was clean but not the best. The window had bars on it and our “patio” view was of the razor wire guarding some construction scaffolding next door. I would have appreciated a hair dryer in the room but there wasn’t one available. The ice machine was broken but there was some ice available in a cooler right next to it. There is an elevator for luggage since the reception desk is one floor up from ground level. There is a convenience store on the street level and the hotel is above it. Make no mistake - this is a “bare bones” hotel and if that’s all a visitor is looking for it will be okay. Some visitors to Koror may be there strictly to scuba dive and not care too much about where they stay. If that is you then this may be the spot for you. As for me, I will be perfectly okay not stay here again.

Small hotel, room simply, because in central, view not nice. You must go from ground to the first floor where reception is, not elevator (only for bags) this is not e problem, for somebody can be.Rooms are not small, simply equipped. We did not have problem wit air condition, but my friends in another two rooms yes. Personal friendly. WIFI not a free, you must buy 100MB / 10USD, better buy local sim (3GB for 45USD). Downstairs there is a "supermarket", with parking place, crossing this is restaurant/coffe and another shop. To the centr is 10 min by walk - take right from hotel to the main street (50m) then right then straight (after 50m is Shell gas station you cen rent a car -inside is HERTZ, after 500m there is small shop with yellow balustrade on left side-you can buy local sim there). For us suitable hotel-only diving all the days-Fish and fins base 10min by walk.

OK, this was what we wanted....cheap on Palau. However, the pay-internet scheme is baloney.....that alone would have had us not use this hotel. The room is minimal....the bed was almost too hard to sleep on......but there is a balcony.....above the prison-style rolls of barbed wire.....the air conditioning was functional but with huge ice spot directly on the bed......staff were very nice....free water when you check in if you ask, then $1.50/bottle afterwards....weird.....they did get us shuttles to the airport when we needed them though......odd baggage only elevator.....and trying to find the entrance to this place by yourself would take some doing....there is a large convenience store next door and a huge Chinese restaurant across the street.

The location and proximity to the downtown area where one can choose from a variety of restaurants, shopping malls and mini marts is perfect. One can just walk 5-10 minutes and you are there. The hotel itself has seen better days and is at most a 3 star hotel. The staff are all Filipino so service was friendly, efficient and reliable. the room comes with a balcony to dry all the days wet clothes and items. Room was big enough with cold airconditioning and a kingsized bed. The bathroom leaves much to be desired and can use newer and fresher towels. Would come back here again for future trips again

This is a simple, centrally located hotel which was perfect for us. As we left every day at 8 am and returned at 5 pm, we wanted a small hotel that was close to town (and where we could walk to the dive shop every day). Comfortable beds, a/c, frig and tea pot in the room worked quite well for us. Our friends who came with us had trouble with a/c in their original room, but staff quickly found another room (which our friends were able to choose) with a new a/c unit. If you're looking for simple, clean lodging without frills, this is the place.

This hotel is located at one end of the Motor downtown area, so you can go to many restaurants and shops by walking. There is also a mini-mart on the first floor of the hotel so you can get food, snacks, and drinks easily. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. There is no WiFi provided at the hotel, so you need to buy prepaid card for internet access. The hotel charges $10 for 4 hour, but if you buy from the mini-mart downstairs or any other markets, it's $10 for 8 hours. I think it's quite a rip-off, but unfortunately I discovered it too late. Don't buy the internet card from the front desk!

I was denied boarding on an onward flight and found myself isolated at the Airport. Koror is a laid-back town and finding a room at three in the morning can be difficult. The first few hotels were closed and non-responsive and it took a bit of an effort to have the access door to the West Plaza Desekel unlocked by a sleeping attendant. Despite it being now about four in the morning, the rate was still $125 with a noon checkout time. There is no hotel provided internet, no room safe and not much of anything more. The air conditioned sputtered spitting flakes of rust onto the bed and amazingly keep the room cool. There is no restaurant but you can find something to eat from the ground floor independent market or restaurants within walking distance. Hotels are very expensive in Palau so be prepared as the quality is so much less than what you would get for the money in the Philippines or Thailand. In the three days I was "stuck" on Palau, I found the island to be an interesting place and would probably return for a few days to explore. The local restaurants are reasonably priced. Patronize the Chinese restaurants if you are willing to pay what I consider to be high priced.

The staff was VERY accommodating here, helpful in so many ways from getting us a car to additional room items to arranging a 2:00AM shuttle. It is located upstairs and is a bit odd to find it adjacent to a massage studio, but otherwise the location downtown is convenient to restaurants, bank, shopping, etc. It is expensive, too. Maybe all hotels are expensive, but really overpriced for the quality.

This is a simple hotel in Palau and the description provided by the website is fair. I stayed there for one night, on my way to a liveaboard trip. Location is ok, as there are cafes, little markets and restaurants nearby. Good for a short stay.
