Fortunately Palau Royal Resort had all these and while expensive, it was not something that is over the top (unlike the other 5* hotel)
Palau Royal Resort is not a 5* hotel but I think my stay there was 5*.
The room was newly renovated during the COVID times. We had the ocean view which had the view of the beach as well as the sea (although it was not much of an ocean because there was an island not far from the beach so you won't get to see the horizon much) The room was spacious, the toilet, the shower, the bathtub and the wash basin were all in separate areas so there was no need to fight for these :) and they provided durable rubber flip flops (those you could wear on a beach) instead of those white flimsy slippers that the moment you left the hotel they would fall apart.
The location of the hotel was quite near to the downtown of Koror though you would not really be expected to walk there. Transportation could be a problem in Palau but there was really no need to go to the downtown when you are at sea every day (unless you needed to grab a simcard, and yes that's a major problem in Palau as not many shops would sell these unless you go to the downtown) But there is a kiosk just across the road so you could get what you need. As mentioned before it had its own beach (which there was a bit of coral to see if you snorkel there but again, you wouldn't want to stay in the hotel in Palau to spend your day) The hotel also came with its own private pier so your tour boat could drop you off there instead of more travelling after a long tiring day.
There was only one restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast was generally good (buffet style) every morning. At other times they were all a la carte and the price was not too outrageously expensive. Twice a week there was a dinner buffet and the food choice was surprisingly good for the price you paid (they had Singaporean Chili crab and Salmon Sashimi) but then it seems the food was not refilled. (To be frank there wasn't that many ppl there when we were there) The hotel had free drinking water dispenser on each floor so you would never be thirsty. If you are bored of the same menu everyday you could go to the neighbouring restaurants and hotels for similar foods (most serve American cuisine)
The service was in general good except the staff who checked me in knew nothing about my Expedia GOLD membership and would not give out the perks that Expedia mentioned. It wasn't much (20% off spa) which we were not interested anyway, but that was the only negative experience we had.

Palau has a bad flight, so both check-in and check-out times are strange in the middle of the night, but here I was relieved to have a Japanese receptionist at night.
The room was cheap, so I was assigned a room with a garden view, but the room had enough views to see the harbor of the inlet beyond.
The restaurant will have an ocean view, but it is true that the room has a good view of the pool and the sea, but I thought the garden view was more valuable considering the price difference of 50 💲 to 100 💲 per day since I am rarely in the hotel during the day for diving.
The downside is that there is Palau, not just this hotel, but if you ask for an airport transfer, you will be sent to the airport more than 3 hours before your flight time. I had a hard time killing time when I was sent out of the hotel unusually early, even though there was nothing at the airport, perhaps because of airport instructions.
However, unfortunately, my flight was cancelled that day, so although I checked out, I contacted him and went back to my hotel again, where I was able to use my room until the original check out time of 12:00.
Incidentally, a round-trip airport transfer from the hotel costs $42 per person.
Although hotels in Palau tend to be more expensive in general, if they are expensive, I think it will be satisfying for those who want to stay in a higher class anyway.
It was definitely a lovely hotel with a seaside location.

Thank you PRR for your hospitality and everything. It was a nice family bonding during the holidays and enjoying whatsoever too.
Breakfast buffet food was excellent but found that the dinners were average for what they cost (both buffet and menu items) so we tended to go to a local restaurant instead.
Would happily return and stay here again.

There is free parking for guests available on the premises and a nice souvenir shop next to reception. They also have a tennis court and a small putt putt golf course although it seems to be a bit overgrown and hard to find. The location of the hotel is great, not too far from the city; great restaurants around and even a mini mart across the road. Definitely will be coming back to this hotel my next Palau trip.

I really enjoyed the private beach at the resort. I was surprised with the reef there and as a diver still had a lit if fun just swimming around there.
The trims were clean and updated. There was only one issued when I noticed some water dripping from the ceiling. I told the cleaning staff and it was fixed immediately by the time I was back from diving with no future issues.
The front deck staff was great and helped make reservations and get taxis for us.
The breakfast buffet was fantastic with so many options to eat before a big day of diving.
The staff there was fantastic. I always felt very welcomed. Janry, Ben, Rose and Oya were amazing and were always ready to serve.
Per Oya’s recommendation the beef noodles are truly fantastic and would highly recommend them.
