M&A Eco Beach Bungalows is a private, safe and secluded resort located towards the Northern Part of the big island of Babeldaob. We boasts the longest stretch of beautiful, white, sandy all natural beach with crystal, clear, warm ocean waters. We have hammocks & lounge chairs where you can relax under a shade of overhanging trees and enjoy the fresh breeze or read a book. A great place to snorkel among the corals or walk along the reefs during low tides. Great place for families with children.

We stayed in the family bungalow and had a nice time there. With three kids, the Long Beach and it’s shallow water was an asset. Food on site as well as the rest of the service was excellent considering where you are. The bungalow was very basic but super clean, the staff took a lot of effort each time when servicing the room. The same attention was given to the rest of the site and everything was super clean and a pleasure to walk around. If you are looking for a remote place to disconnect, this is it.

The northern Palau on the iland Khoror is very beautiful! The beach is several kilometres with white sand. The Resort is a very nice place for a relaxing holiday! The Bungalows are very nice, with everything you need. However the choice of food is limited and the price is way to high. The Resort takes 12% service fee for every order. Even the water bottles is very expensive.

Stayed for 5 days in Aug 2017, had a perfect experience, kayaked at my leisure, ate the delicious meals prepared by the staff who were very attentive, roamed up and down the beach which I had to myself. So much untouched nature, with the occasional local fishing at low tide. The absolutely stellar scenery makes it a keen place to unwind. Would definitely recommend and will be ending my trip at M&A everytime i return, the shuttle service was very convenient to my early flight

The place is very good. The beach is long, with many coconut trees, and it can be a very peaceful place. Also the food is good. Unfortunately the level of the service offered is very poor. The entrance fee for the beach is 10$ for any person, but on the beach there are ONLY 5 sea decks! You have to go early to be the lucky one to get one for you. It would be enough just to buy some more , it would be really not so difficult to fix it, please improve you problem solving attitude! Another bad thing, always connected to the problem solving ability, is that a complete menu menu plate is about from 16 to 20$, but if you want just an item what is in the offer, for example only the meat without the salad, the tempura and the cake, they make you pay all the plate at full price! They also neither try to put a patch to that, with just a "sorry", or " we can offer you this instead of..." Please get a little bit of flexible mind, it's the only way to be serious touristic operators!

Last year, I stayed in one of the one-room cottages with my daughter (they provided a folding bed for her). This year there were four of us and we stayed in a two-bedroom bungalow, which was not as picturesque but had the advantage of a kitchenette with fridge/freezer, gas ring, and microwave. The sandy beach is beautiful, and only a minute’s walk from any of the rooms. There are a few hammocks and recliners, and most of the time we had the whole place to ourselves. If you’re a swimmer you will need to pay attention to the tides, as the water will only come up to your knees at low tide, no matter how far you walk out! Don’t expect the luxury western-style experience of somewhere like PPR. It looks like some of the previous reviewers did, and were disappointed. The choice of food for dinner is limited - “fish” or “chicken” - but always delicious. You might have to hunt around a little for the staff - they spend lots of time raking the sand - but once you find them they are more than happy to see to your needs, from making up your room to doing your laundry, taking your dinner order (you need to ask in advance) to getting the kayaks ready for you to use. And though the WiFi hotspot (not accessible from the rooms) is fine for emails, don’t expect to be watching streaming video (or downloading anything larger than an image file). This time, we ended up going back to Koror several times for tours and to top up our food supplies. But it’s only around an hour’s drive (longer during Koror’s morning rush hour) on an excellent road with barely any traffic until you approach Koror.

simple place with friendly staff (Filipinos owner). Nice beach, nice lagoon, perfect place to relax and forget busy life. A bit pricey compare to the facilities, but as it is a remote place, that is the price to pay for being far away from everything.

My bungalow is oddly arranged – a rectangle with the bathroom in the middle, the door facing the kitchen area. There’s a sitting and dining area at one end and the bed and the large TV at the other. It’s very dark, the air con works well. It has everything I need, except maybe a hairdryer. There are two outdoor seating areas, one with a BBQ pit and a large empty area. I’m not sure what that’s for. But it’s private. It’s all beautifully clean and outdoor areas swept and raked very day. The main attraction is the stunning beach with shallow sand banks out to the distant edge of the lagoon. There are hammocks, slung between the palm trees, which are amusing for a while, but then I drag a sunbed into the shallow water and spend the afternoon there. It’s difficult to concentrate on a book, when the views are so dazzling and constantly changing in the light. You order dinner in advance. It’s a solitary affair for me, (everyone else cooks for themselves or eats separately), but a delicious one. The first night is coconut fish curry with accompaniments in curled leaf baskets. One of these is koroke – a fried vegetable fritter. The next night, sweet and sour parrot fish. Yet again its’s incredibly good. I might have made yet another bad decision though, as I’ve chosen to eat outdoors and there are hordes of night insects. My banana in coconut milk is covered in a great deal of additional protein by the time I get to it. The bungalow area is teeming with other wild life. There are enormous toads hopping around the path and the wall and roof are festooned with lizards. Both are fine by me- they will help to keep the insects off my food. There are lights strung all around the walkways. It would probably be very pretty if someone turned them on. The manager, Arlene, is a dynamo, very helpful and efficient, arranging pick-ups. My only complaint is that she was very sympathetic about problems I had with my other hotel on Palau, said I had been very badly treated and she would complain and make sure something was done to hold them to account and then did nothing at all.

We arrived at night, picked up in Koror by one of the owners Aylene. We stayed at M&A for 5 days and it was wonderfull. Aylene made our stay perfect. She was very helpfull. Sorting out what we prefered to do during our stay and even after we have left. What an amazing woman! The bungalow was verg nice. An outside bbq and a nice place to sit privately. We brought a few things from Koror so we could cook breakfast at the bungalow. The staff gave us a mobile cook stove. House is cosy and all made of wood. It had everything we needed. M&A is situated on a quiet place. You have to love it, beautifull beaches where we could make long beachwalks, we kayaked, went to Kayangel island on a private tour (arranged by Aylene also). Amazing time we have spend there. We saw the most amazing rainbows on a paradise like this. This has to be at rainbow’s end. Thank you Aylene and staff for taking such good care of us. Toby and Patrick

M&A is the best and only place one can stay in the Northern part of the country and while we absolutely loved the owner, the general novelty of the place quickly wore off as the price was quite high for rather dark accommodations with incredibly inept staff. To start, the place was quite musky and not cleaned regularly so I picked up a nasty nasal infection the first day when we ran the AC. Despite having some dietary requirements that I communicated to the staff, none of these requirements were followed by the staff so it was fairly lucky that bought some supplies in Koror. In fairness, the staff did deliver some cooking supplies to our room when we asked so it is possible cook in some of the rooms, but the rooms only boast a refrigerator and a hot water pot, so dont expect to be able to do much and you had better pick up bbq materials in the capital as well before you come here. In fairness though, even for simple requests like posting a post card one could see the staff members eyes roll into the back of their head in shere disbelief...needless to say my postcards most likely went into the bin, but this was the case with nearly any request made. In short, one must be super independent here and plan to bring their own supplies for the duration of your stay. Otherwise, on the positive note, while the hotel is built directly on a swamp, the beach is only about 100 meters away and M&A has set up some nice beach chairs on the sand. However, as the reef is quite shallow it is only possible to swim during high tide only so dont expect to be able to swim for most of the day. That said however, if you have your own car it is great to do some exploring in the area and the hotel will be happy to arrange a private boat to explore Kayangel Island ...which is fairly epic and well worth the high price tag. All around, while we loved the owner when we had the chance to see her, just remember this is an extremely remote place with no sea views so dont expect too much despite the high prices. If however, you are independent, bring your own supplies, and dont mind roughing it a bit, this can be a nice place to stay if you have your own rental car and get off the beaten track

Friends of us (they stayed 4 years ago there) recommended us the accomodation because of the very beautiful location and the very nice and personal athmosphere. The location is still very charming, the lonely beach is beautiful and dreamlike. But something must have changed. The staff and the owner were friendly and helpful in organizing excursions but they were not very interesting in their guests. We found the atmosphere quite impersonal. The offered breakfast was delicous but in relation to the high price for the appartment quite small. Room service is only on request. The offered dinner was delicous too but the price was with 28,- USD/person to high. I think the price depends on the fact that there are no alternatives in the environment. In Koror you can eat in some top rated (tripadvisor) restaurants for less money but you have to drive 45 Minuten each way. If you need a car you can rent the car at the accomodation but you have to control your bill. In our case we should pay 10 USD/day more. On request the owner told us that we get a bigger car as the booked car wasn´t available and we get the money back. But nobody informed us about it. For the airport pick up you have to pay 25 USD/person and for picking up the car at the airport on the last day we had to pay 25 USD on top. Booking a car at the airport coult be a good alternative. We spend 10 days at the accomodation and we did not spend a little money but we found it very petty that we had to pay for one broken glass 3 dollars. We enjoyed our time but in relation to the price our rating is only average
