THE PALAU HOTEL is the best accommodation to represent Palau. Located in the hub of Koror, right across to WCTC, the biggest mall in Palau, and only 15 mins drive from the Roman Tmetuchl International Airport. The hotel has 54 rooms and suites. All rooms and suites are furnished for maximum leisure and comfort.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
A wonderful place to stay . It’s in down town Koror right opposite to Taj Palau . Very courteous staff . As an Indian Traveller I recommend this hotel for all Indian travellers. It’s a value for money , clean place to stay . The owners themselves micromanage the operations and are happy to go out of the way to keep their guest happy

Hotel is great! First, Mark and Jan were the best. They not only helped with all hotel questions, but they also helped me arrange tours, which was very important as this was difficult since Palau recently eased tourism restrictions. They also helped me calculate best value and consider options I hadn’t, such as taking a very scenic flight above the islands. Hotel is immaculate and rivals name brand hotels. It looks modern! Everything was so clean and new. AC and hot water were functioning properly. Free bottled water, snacks, very delicious breakfast, and strong WiFi rounded off a great stay. Location couldn’t be better, as it’s close to restaurants and stores to stock up on food or anything forgotten, such as sunscreen, bug spray, food, and drinks. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. It’s a great value and you can’t go wrong.

I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I was greeted by name everytime I walked through the door. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. Everything is spotlessly clean and the lobby always smelled nice when you walked in. It is a short walk to restaurants, shops, ATM, etc. All the activities I did, offered pick up from the hotel. The staff were very helpful helping me find something to do for the 2 days I didn't have diving planned. Due to Covid, there was not many available options but the persevered and I had something to do every day. If you want a clean central location with exceptional staff to use as a base for activities you can't go wrong.

Firstly, the location is absolutely fantastic; right in front of two shopping centers in Koror, both of which are no doubt easily accessible. Secondly, the room we stayed in, which is a classic double, was so clean and tidy, and was equipped with more than adequate amenities for its price. (We’ve seen worse hotels that charged higher prices.). Just make sure to bring your own pajamas or comfy clothes to sleep in, that’s pretty much everything you must have to stay in this hotel.
You can enjoy hearty breakfast every morning which its friendly staff ask your preference, and the staff are super friendly. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next visit to Palau. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed 5 days at Palau Hotel, an excellent location from where you can easily have access to all major attractions in wonderful Palau. The rooms and shared areas are modern, and particularly the staff deserves my best feedback. They take care of every single request or question you may have, literally! I highly recommend this hotel.

We were not expecting too much as we had booked the cheapest hotel we could find in Palau at short notice but we were very pleasantly surprised. It’s centrally located and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. It was extremely clean and they provided breakfast too.
What made it stand out for us was the reception staff and their unfailingly warm welcome every time we returned from a trip or a restaurant. They kindly helped us make all sorts of reservations too. They were wonderful!
This is not a luxury hotel so if you’re expecting that, this is not for you but if you’re looking for a good value for money stay in Palau with friendly staff, you can’t go wrong here!

Centrally located downtown, simple and clean rooms with excellent service and staff. The breakfast buffet at first took some time to get used to because it is different from the traditional american continental breakfast (bagels, cereal, eggs) for a more Japanese/Pacific breakfast (salad, miso soup, eggs, pasta). After the first day we realized we preferred the breakfast style here. If you go to the restaurants in town you really start to appreciate fresh, raw lettuce!
The rooms are small but have what you need. Room cleaning is great. The only thing we would like, as divers, is a better place to dry clothes. Also, considering most people like us arrive at all hours of the night, its pretty quiet. The walls are thin, but I guess we had good neighbors. Overall, this is great for the price.

Very nice hotel and top notch staff. I stayed here two weeks during my diving trip. Kamille, Joy, Leah, and the rest of the staff were very friendly and responsive to anything I needed. It is centrally located near a number of restaurants and a couple supermarkets within walking distance. The cleanliness was immaculate and the breakfast every day was good. My only complaint was the breakfast was too small for me, but when I asked for additional food on subsequent days the staff was very helpful and made sure I had enough to eat.

We had a wonderful stay at Palau Hotel. The staff were very nice, helpful and service-minded. The rooms are a bit small but were clean and are similar to the pictures. We were also very satisfied with the breakfast which contained a good selection of fruit, omelette, vegetables, noodles and more.
The view is facing the shopping centre, but the hotel is very centrally located so you get everything you need within a few meters distance. Would recommend the Taiwanese cafe right next door for frappe or sweets. And Coffee Berry (two minutes away) is a good place for coffee and work.
Overall I am very happy with our stay and the people who work there are sweet and helpful.

Nice staff, convenient location with restaurants and a supermarket near by. Room is simple and clean. LOTS of stairs, no elevator. WiFi in room is VERY UNRELIABLE, even if they reboot the multiple routers. I couldn't connect for hours during my stay or the connection lasted only a few minutes at a time. I was told I could hang out in the lobby for better WiFi, but the point of booking a room is to be in the room!! An extremely frustrating situation. I won't book here again specifically because of lack of consistent internet.
