We stayed in the Sheraton on Half board for one week (12-19 dec24) and Le Meridian All inclusive for one week(19-26 dec 2024) The Sheraton was a lovely clean hotel on the end of the Cornish and within easy walking distance to the shops.
We arrived later on in the evening, so we missed our evening meal, but we were able to have a lunch time meal instead the following day.
In comparison to other hotels in the area, the Sheraton looks old, and not as super modern as the neighbouring hotels, however inside was a different story, being clean and modern.
The rooms were spacious and the beds super comfy. Cleaning staff always cleaned our room well, restocking the teas and coffee also. My only issue was the smell of drains inside our room, so we had to keep our bathroom door shut with the extractor on at all times. We also noticed that there was a box outside our door, at first I though it was a meter box but when we opened it it was the drains, so maybe the smells were coming from there. I never reported it as it didn’t pose to much of an issue.
The food was delicious. Apparently it was themed nights, but it wasn’t overly obvious, nevertheless, I alway found fantastic food.
We drank at the tavern pub, an English looking bar. Normally happy hour was on from 4-8pm but as it was December and probably much quieter, happy hour was on from 12 noon til 8pm. A pint of cider was just slightly more expensive that in the uk.
The swimming pools were ok. The adult pool didn’t get the sun much which was a shame as it would have sheltered us from some of the windy days we had there. There was also kids pool. We stayed on the beach.
It was my fathers 81st birthday whilst we were there and they brought a cake up to their room, which was a lovely gesture.
Overall a lovely stay and I would not hesitate to go again.

The only downside is that the hotel no longer pulls on 5 stars,old renovation, there are many flaws, also not new towels and bathrobes.Generally solid 4ka. Great for allergy sufferers - the chefs were incredible with my daughter who is gluten and dairy free. They would walk her around the restaurant and advise what she could and couldn't eat. Made beautiful fresh meals and cakes for her. They went above and beyond an expectation. We went for the all inclusive option and would recommend this. (This is very limited All inclusive on drink options). Why? Just include everything and if it's running at a loss, increase the price. I do not go on holiday to argue about what is and is not included, it's boring, no one wants aggravation on holiday, this spoils your trip. Change it! We booked this as the spa sounded great and wanted a relaxing holiday with option to use this daily. Unfortunately this was out of operation. We asked when this would be fixed and was advised by reception staff they would send us via taxi to a sister hotel without charge. We arrived in reception the following afternoon to do this and sat there for over 30mins as no one was able to confirm if this was possible. Staff were unable to make a decision on what we had been told and process this, we were then advised we would then have to pay for this. We refused as had been told previously this would not be chargeable. They then advised we could use the facilities at the Sheraton but the gym staff were unable to operate them and the spa staff were rude and unhelpful to them said we were not able to use - and subsequently escorted to the mens facilities which as.2 women in the mens changing rooms was uncomfortable and certainly not ideal.

Really nice, well located hotel with its own private beach and a nice heated swimming pool, with a separate toddlers pool which is also heated. This is a real plus as often pools in Europe look lovely but are freezing !!! Efficient check In although we had to pay extra as we arrived at around 9am and the allotted check in time is a rather late 3pm. We ate mostly on the “Flavours “ restaurant where a fantastic buffet was on offer every day. Soups, salads, various cold and hot dishes, desserts etc. We were on an all-inclusive basis, which I would recommend as there isn’t much choice outside the hotel. A special word about the staff mainly in the Flavours Restaurant who were excellent customer focussed and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable. We would like to name ……… Vanesa, Chaw, Kiran, Rajesh, Nitin, Siti! Saukat and Pius. They, and others, are a credit to the hotel. The rooms are very modern, with very comfy King size beds………we asked for a rear view as traffic noise at the front could be an issue. There is limited evening entertainment on certain days down at the beach bar . The hotel has a large Gym and also two nice Tennis Courts.

I don't know why this hotel gets high ratings, it doesn't deserve it. Breakfasts for weak 3. You will have two types of sausages and 5 types of curry, 3 types of puff pastry biscuits and smoked herring. The hotel is aimed at the Indian public. Don't take rooms facing the street, the noise is constant and closing the windows doesn't help. There are smoky rooms on non-smoking floors, but at the reception they said that there was no smell. The height of the ceilings is for midgets; when entering the elevator, you always tilted your head for fear of hitting it. Ceiling height 1.90 m maximum 2 meters. He himself is 1.8 m tall. The sun loungers and umbrellas are old, some need to be replaced. Either the mattresses are broken or torn. Cleaning of the rooms is incomprehensible, sometimes in the morning they will be cleaned sometimes at 7 pm. When we left for breakfast, we always turned on the room cleaning. Towels were thrown on the floor to be replaced; they could remain there for 2 days. Wifi on the beach and pool is weak. There are no places to eat nearby, fortunately we found the Bovini restaurant, the chef is Italian, a 40-minute walk away. We went there for dinner every evening. It’s a pity that we found him at the end of our vacation. The hotel was completely disappointing. I will not return to this hotel myself and I advise others to avoid this hotel and avoid positive reviews.

Our stay at Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort was outstanding. The buffet offered with the half board is delicious and with varied options to meet the tastes of everybody; rooms were spacious, quiet and spotless. The staff provided excellent service, with a special mention for Sajid at the reception, who made us feel truly welcome and assisted us with every need. Highly recommended!
If I can suggest an improvement (not easy to be implemented) consider to install nets in the sea to avoid the presence of plastic in the water in the afternoon hours.

I stayed at this hotel for about 3 weeks. The rooms are spacious and clean although I sometimes found the new bathrobes dirty; Both shampoo and shower gel are present. Various breakfast and dinners but unfortunately they have very few alternatives for intolerants. The staff was very kind, in particular Chawi and Kavi but also the chefs who prepared dishes especially for me some evenings. Well-kept beach and swimming pool, with the possibility of having a buffet dinner on Saturday evenings. Beautiful and clean gym. I recommend not taking the city view rooms as they are very noisy but choosing the pool view ones.

We stayed in this fantastic 5-star hotel in Abu Dhabi for 6 days during the Easter holidays and I can't say enough good things about it. We arrived quite late but we checked in very quickly, in time to enjoy a delicious dinner at "Le bistrot", one of the hotel's restaurants. We found the reception staff well-trained, always ready to help you, attentive to customer needs. We only included breakfast, which we requested at check in and it was always varied and super plentiful, for all tastes! The staff was very friendly, always attentive to customers' needs. For lunch we ate in the B LOUNGE bar and on Saturday and Sunday( Easter day) had also prepared the buffet, for a fee for those who did not have the all-inclusive package, and had decorated the tables with Easter eggs. We had also prepared a small workshop, where the children could decorate the eggs 😉.
The rooms were large and spacious: equipped with a coffee maker with pods, soaps and a welcome kit. We had a city view room, which wasn't as noisy as I thought. The city is "alive" 24 hours a day 😅😅 They made our rooms every day, always leaving us water, and above all everything was perfectly clean.
There is a private beach, small and very comfortable, with umbrellas and deckchairs. Children's pool with slide, super fun, and adult pool with bar, where you could enjoy a good cocktail while remaining in the water. There is also a swimming pool for very small children and games. Every morning they gave you clean and scented towels.
Considering that we were traveling with children, I have absolutely nothing to complain about.
Perfect location to reach anywhere (by taxi); to get to the Corniche there is a very comfortable and beautiful underpass, because it is all decorated.
Inside the hotel there is a very large gym, spa, hairdressers, beauty salons and a small souvenir shop.
If you go to Abu Dhabi I highly recommend it.😉😉

We stayed in this hotel for some days and enjoyed it so much! Pool, beach, restaurant, very comfortable gym (they even have a leg press there, which is a rare thing for hotel gyms), SPA and working space. Room is very light and well organised. Professional hairdryer, bath kit, dental kit, sanitary kit, basically you will find everything you need for your morning routine. Tea, coffee, fridge, iron, ironing board are also at your disposal. I appreciated very much those details. But something I appreciated even more was a hospitality and courtesy of staff. I really loved how they do their work with smile and respect. Great team, great place.

The choice is buffet style, plenty of choice from mainly mid Eastern European dishes. During my stay there was a Chinese themed evening and one other theme that I can’t recall.
