I recently spent couple of days in this suite hotel in Beirut, during a business trip. It's a small hotel, close to the downtown, that offer rooms with full services, included a small kitchen. The breakfast is very good, with a good variety of foods. If I have to find a negative aspect, it's that they don't have an internal restaurant so far.
This was the worst experience ever. First they burned my electric toothbrush (the house keeping) and stoled my ring that i forgot to put on the safe. For the ring its my fault i admit it but for the toothbrush they denied it and didn't accept to pay it or declare to any insurance. I stayed two months and paid in advance. I was in the mountain for some days and when i came back they told me to leave the room cause they had booked my room for an other client. I didnt accept and called the police cause they didnt allowed me to enter my room if i dont take my stuff to leave. After the police came i finally accepted to leave cause all the mens (6 mens working on the hotel were against me, a 34 years old woman). Im lebanese but live in switzerland which respect is a priority and i dont accept to be treated like this. If you are asking yourself why they did this its because i signed a contract of 6 millions lira which was only 250 dollars per month and wanted to give the room at a higher price cause it was high season. Anyway i was preparing my luggage when they knocked at the door at least 20 times in 30 minutes and sent an employee who pretended to be the next client and began to insult me (im gonna f... you in arabic, ra7 nek e5d el dene w ire fike). I have the video if someone is interested to see it and also all the records when the guy at the reception pretended to be the director but i knew the name of the director who is a woman who was hiding all the time. I have so much more to show and say but i will make sure that maximum of people will be informed and aware about this.…
Awful service , and unprofessional We booked the hotel room for 30days at a specific rate , and before the time have ended we advised that we wanted to extend and we confirmed the rate, and paid the amount advance and got a receipt and suddenly we received a call that they have made an error with our new extension rate and we have to pay additional amount , leaving us with no time although we have all the documents proving their confirmation and extension on that rate and their answer is simply that the employee is new and did a mistake , shame on such service and the way we were dealt with , especially with guests that have stayed long period , we weren’t expecting that we have to handle the mistake of employee and lack of information
This hotel was way above expectations in terms of staff ( a real pro hoteliers ) and in terms of room. The amenities found in the room is more than what u can find in Hilton. The room is spacious and super clean. They have a nice gym on the 2nd floor. And all restaurants and attractions are a walking distance from the location. I will book this hotel next summer with my family for sure
Excellent value for money; super comfortable, super clean room and kitchinet and so is the bathroom with full amenities, central location with easy access to restaurants, malls nightlife as well as sightseeing within greater Beirut; excellent staff - very helpful, cheerful and professional with a clear intention of making your trip as enjoyable as possible. Valet parking 24/24.
My 5-days-stay in "Sodeco Suites" in Beirut was very pleasant - let me sum up why. The rooms were clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable. The Gym is divided into two rooms, Cardio and Weights. It was really nice to work out there in the morning hours. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of food to choose from. Especially Mariam and Mahdi at the breakfast lounge were really nice and courteous - hope to see you guys on my next stay here in Beirut again. Staff in general are really kind and polite here and help you with everything you need (e.g. organizing taxis and tours, recommending restaurants, ...). Internet also worked well, no problems at all.
I Have been suffering for days from bad internet connection and no support at all from IT, I can't do my work from the hotel and follow my job by any mean Otherwise rest of services are OK, no issues with them
My husband and I stayed in the hotel over New Years for one week. This is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in, the service and cleanliness is impeccable, the staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is very comfortable and truly gave the feeling of a home away from home. The price for the hotel along with room service is very reasonable. The room incorporated a great deal of amenities, one usually does not receive in other hotels (not even some of the leading hotels in the world). Not to mention everything is fairly close. From the reception, to housekeeping, to the staff at breakfast, everyone made you feel welcome and happy to be there. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit and will recommend it to anyone who’s visiting Beirut.
