Its my first time i visit this hotel, usually every week i stayed 2 days in a hitel in beirut, i was attracted by the building design, i visited yesterday at 1:30am, alone, i entered the lobby, it was very proper and the welcome was ok, i took a room at 115$,this was the lowest one, when i entered the room the smell of the perfume was so strong, the sofa, bed, amenities was not organized and alligned, the toilet wasnt proper, the tissue roll was used, there was stains on the towels and a black stain on the bed cover, i wasnt expecting this at all due to the look from outside and the price, i turned on the tv all the channels was out of signal, i called the reception and told them about it and the answer was that the maintenance guy is nit here so if you want use youtube without excusing about anything, so i wasnt expecting this at all and unfortunately i dont know what to say but for sure i will not visit or recommend it. Im sorry to write this but i was really anoying and never to to standars, it was like a used room.…
Visited in July 2022, Great hotel. Very clean and convenient location, friendly staff . Loved the lebanese Breakfast very generous Stayed there 1 week. Will be back there again soon. Highly recommend.
If you ask Hotel to iron three dresses for you , be ready to pay 50 dollars!!! Yes , 50 dollars! If you eat a bag of chips be ready to pay 4 dollars. If you ask for anything more then your bed you paid like you are staying in a full facility resort, be ready to cash a lot of dollars. So basically they didnt adjust their prices to the currency change and they play like they have no idea what are you talking about. Plus! They use 25k as an dollar exchange rate , but anywhere else in Beirut its 29k! Rooms are very small and not as they advertise it on the website . Its more of a basic experience , but overpriced. Staff is kind but dont worry you will pay a lot for that. .Unfortunately very disapointed with they way tourists are treated in Lebanon.Overall! Never stay at Louis 5 Hotel, there are many other hotels in better locations and better facilities.…
No need to add photos of the rooms and facility. They are exactly as presented and excellent. While the country still wrestles through the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic and the worst economic crisis, the staff has remained incredible friendly, helpful and patient. See below on the breakfast.
Nice and helpful staff, especially the receptionist department. Modern, comfortable and clean rooms. The hotel is located in a wonderful area with a close location to the malls.. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant meals were very delicious. Thank you
Very friendly atmosphere, nice receptionists and helpful staff, acceptable services, lovely sea view, super slow wifi, and im not sure about the location as i stayed at the hotel during the lockdown period and got so bored.
Great for a business stay! Reception staff is fantastic. Rooms are tidy and well maintained. I noticed some of the rooms had blue/cold light rather than yellow warm light. I hated this. But its only a personal preference. Breakfast buffet is on point. Would recommend for a business stay. Not so much for a romantic accommodation. Ideal for large business groups.
My second stay here and not disappointed, hotel is fairly new, rooms are furnished to a high standard and clean. Staff were pleasant and check-in/out was efficient and smooth. I always find breakfast hit or miss in Lebanon as it’s not my norm. However eggs of my choice were available to order so I wasn’t going hungry. I’ll be back in Beirut in a few months and I will book in here again.
If you’re visiting Lebanon and know the major attractions, and just have a short stay then this is a good option for your money. Its a 4* for sure. It’s between two large malls, like a 5 minute walk to each. Has great sea views. And its a clean and modern place with good service and B& B. No pool. WiFi can be faster.
Wife and I recently spent five nights at Louis V on our first visit to Beirut to visit relatives. Can't comment on the convenience of the location since we found Beirut geography a little confusing and all of our travel was with a local driver. However, we were pleased that the ABC mall (with department store, multiple restaurants, and movie theatre) and Spinnys grocery both a short walk without crossing major highway. Premium room was comfortable and large enough for a long stay. Desk staff professional, friendly and efficient. Don't understand the negative comments below about breakfast. Our breakfast experience was varied, with a full buffet (by US standards) and even omelets cooked to order.
