There are a plethora of budget hotels in the souq area of Manama and this one should be low on your list. It's location is awful, sandwiched between the main highway and a busy fruit and veg market. Access to and from is awkward. If the hotel offered old world charm, it would perhaps be worth it, but old hotels in the Middle East aren't quaint. The "Junior suite" i booked was looking very tired and had one of those musty smoke-infused odours. There were no towels provided and the water from the shower was cold. Only hardened travellers wanting to experience the hustle and bustle should be considering this place.

Hotel location is very prime and easy to find even though first time traveling to Bahrain. Rooms are very spacious. We got road view and great view.Hotel is very very old. poor housekeeping. When we entered the room floors were wet and initially i thought they just mopped. But wet was there until i checked out from hotel.I stayed in room no 610 and not recommended to stay in that room (no idea about other rooms). Whatever they mentioned in list were not available. After asking two times only i got towel and water kettle. Internet was very slow and 2nd day didn't connect at all. No restaurant in this hotel.Free street parking available on first come first serve basis.I feel that for this price you can find some better option in Manama.

Although this is one of the cheapest hotels you can find in Manama, this hotel was below my expectations. Room was big and with great views but it was dusty and the floors were dirty. They have no slippers and no hot water. You have to request for a towel if you want one. And they have no restaurant in the hotel. It would have been okay if it was at least clean.

no hot water in my room, no internet in the building, no towels in my room and when I did get the towels from the front desk they had huge tears in them. There were cigarette burns in the bathtub. The fish market, fruit market, and slaughter house down the street had bad smells. The construction behind the building started work at 7am on Saturday. This is a bad hotel.
