An amazing experience in a wonderful place. The breakfast was the best we've had in the whole trip, and home-cooked too! Adel is super kind and knows the mountains and canyons around by heart-- he'll take you on a once-in-a-lifetime hike that you won't be able to find elsewhere if you ask. The tents are a bit hot, it's true-- my solution was to open the door and stick the bed between the passway. That grants you fresh air at least until 4 AM, where it gets cold. Would do it again and would totally recommend it. PS. Yes, you can see the stars at night
Ideal place to break the holiday .. a moment of relaxation in contact with Nature .... Adel is an excellent chef his aubergines were the best in Jordan not to mention his roast cooked in the typical oven / brazier under the ground !!!
The price paid for a night depends solely on the natural site of this location, which is magnificent : what you pay is completely exaggerated: the camp is horribly basic; its state of maintenance is quite scandalous: rubbish, broken equipment, basic comfort totally absent. The word "luxury" in the advertisement is dishonest. Some of the beds lean; I had to place concrete blocks found near the tent during the night to rectify the slope of mine. The bedding is clean. The food is basic but the cooking and flavour are perfect. We are partially consoled by Adel and his assistant who are extremely kind and dedicated. Very nice guys but apparently very lazy and have no sense of what a westerner expects for that price. Nearby shepherds' dogs unpleasantly replace the noise of minarets that we were lucky not to hear at 5:30 am in this remote area. No wifi or network within 2 km; it's not a big issue, but it would be nice to know in advance. The beauty of the site is not enough, we are disappointed and strongly advise against it, unless the price is readjusted to 12-15 JOD/tent of 2 persons/night.…
