Nice hotel near the mosaic church, cosy room, comfy bed, clean hotel, good value for money. Breakfast a bit disappointing but the location is great, unfortunately there is no lift so if you are on the 4th floor you have to carry your bags upstairs
The hotel is clearly in the heart of the old town so the location is great. You can park your rental car in a large secured car park steps away from the hotel. We were disappointed by the quality of the sheets and beds, they would need to be replaced. No wifi in the rooms, only near the reception desk. The breakfast is good and offers a nice view on the churches and mosque.
The stay for one night was ok, as it's really centrally located. The room itself was a bit old style and matress too soft. The bathroom has only a foldable door. For heating there is an AC, but it does heat up only the upper part of the room, so it was kind of freezing during the night. Breakfast was unexpectedly amazing for this kind of hostel. Parking is available at an additional cost 100m away.
We only stayed for one night... arrived in evening after dead sea and mt nebo trip. Left the next morning. Location is great when st george church is just opposite. It's convenient to walk a few minutes to restaurant nearby. The room we got was a corner room. The bathroom was big but really small shower area. The room is clean and serviceable.
Room for three people and for 1 night. Bathroom in the room. Airco for hot air (we went in December!), towels provided, hot water, good breakfast (omelette, humus, tomatoes, olives, salad, etc). The room was silent, the staff friendly. Hairdryer available. Location very central, close to several ATMs, the church of saint George and to some restaurants. Recommended. Parked in front of the hotel.
The hostel is nice. The location is top with car park nearby. The owner is really nice with good tips. Only the breakfast is a bit expensive. It's good to have your sleeping bag. Otherwise I recommend it.
The good parts: excellent location right opposite st George's church and slap bang in the middle of the little tourist zone, balcony with chairs where you can watch the world going by, great roof terrace where breakfast is served. The bad parts: scruffy rooms in dire need of renovation (especially the mouldy beige bathroom with an ancient folding plastic door), old mattress where the springs can be felt. Would I stay here again? Not quite sure. I think I'd check out other options more carefully although I wouldn't rule out coming here again.
Location is absolutely amazing and right opposite the main attraction in Madaba (St. George's Church) and right next the other main archaeological areas (5 min walk). Food options are literally next door. The hotel staff are nice and pleasant. Great roof top terrace, well set up and well maintained. Parking outside can get a little hectic, but we found a spot and kept our car there for our stay since everything is within walking distance. It's in an old building so the fixtures and fittings are a little bit dated. If you're an old school backpacker, then it's absolutely adequate for all your needs. There's mid size lockers, communal seating, a desk, mirrors, hot shower. Important to note, there's no AC and only fan in the dorm we stayed, we went in June/summer heat and it was OK, didn't wear much in bed (may be an issue or female travellers). For around $6 a night, you really can't complain too much in Jordan. But expect the room to be a little rough around the edges, shower cubicle is enclosed by a sheet and is a little cramped. If you can't stand scuffs on walls, a little bit of creak in the bunk beds, old looking bathrooms, then you won't enjoy it here.…
Picked an hotel as I needed a night sleep before morning flight. Did not want to stay in capital due to not "friendly" traffic. This option has payed off. Hotel is basically in the centre of Madaba, and there is a big parking next to it. Easy to find with navigation as well. Checkin process was very simple and quick, had a nice chat with an owner, who to my surprise has been to more countries than me which added up to charm of the place. As for facilities - its very basic, bed, shower and here you go. The big bonus is terrace on the roof with very nice views. P.S. even though I intended to have dinner and go to sleep, because of being in the heart of the town I also walked around for some time (added bonus).
3 points for location directly in the city center opposite st. George church and great view from the terrace to the whole city. The price is very ok for the quality of the room so one should not expect something better.
