We spent 3 nights at La Locanda and from our first welcome to our goodbye we found everything spot on. Our twin room was spacious, very clean, with great air con, and a nice breakfast included too. There is an attached restaurant with a great vibe where we had drinks on night 1 and then a delicious dinner on night 2, so a real bonus and we’d highly recommend.. The location was very central and, with the hotel arranging a driver for us, via email in advance, meant we had a day doing all the sights of Amman and a day further north going to UmmQais, the truly incredible Jerash, as well as Alijoun castle and were very well looked after. In fact the competitive rates and quality/care of the driver, and support of La Locanda, meant we built our whole 9 day Jordan itinerary (Madaba, Nebo, Petra, Red Sea, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea etc) in this way, and this ended being completely 10 out of 10 :)

La Locanda has an intimate atmosphere - the rooms (about twenty) have no numbers, but are all named after Jordanian musicians. Everything is clean and just so. My room and bath were comfortable and complete, and everything worked just the way it should. I stayed there four nights and it would definitely be my first choice in a return trip. The attached restaurant where the included breakfast is served is top notch. At dinner, it is open to the public and is comfortably full with people who have gone out of their way to be there. I ate from the "Arab Food" portion of the menu and was pleased with every dish. There was live music a couple of nights when I was there, a Cuban saxophonist and his trio which was festive and melodious while not being overpowering for the space. Definitely a place that I will remember fondly.

Absolute gem of a hotel in the Al Weibdeh neighborhood. Quiet neighborhood, walkable to some great small shops/cafes- Paris Circle has ATMs/pharmacy etc. Each room is named after a famous Arabic singer-- we stayed in Warda Al-Jaiziri's room :) The hotel is extremely comfortable, clean and modern rooms with very comfortable beds. There is a rooftop bar and a beautiful garden with an excellent breakfast. Staff is Lovely-- they helped us arrange a birthday celebration for a friend and were so kind. We will definitely go back to stay here. Live music on Monday nights!

This is my second stay at Locanda and I LOVE it! I will not stay anywhere else in Amman. The staff is friendly and bends over backwards to make sure you are comfortable. They seem like a big family! The breakfast is served in a beautiful garden, there is a rooftop bar, and great room service from the attached restaurant. They clean daily and help with arranging taxis. I cannot recommend Locanda enough! You will not be disappointed with your stay!

Amazing trip to Jordan and La Locanda Hotel was our home base! Everyone who worked there was incredibly helpful and kind, going above and beyond to help with everything. They answered many questions and emails before we even arrived as we were making plans for our trip. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and they even put us in connecting rooms because we were traveling with our kids. The beds were great and there was lots of space in the room to unpack. The breakfast in the beautiful garden was a great way to start the day. Najat and all the staff were wonderful - thank you!

A fairly small hotel with twenty one rooms in a quiet neighborhood. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had a very large shower. Two bar restaurants where the food and drinks were served very well priced and the service very good. A very clean and tidy hotel made even better by the polite and welcoming staff. Very helpful with obtaining taxis and local information about Amman. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed several nights at La Locanda Boutique Hotel, both at the beginning and again at the end of our 9-day trip to Jordan in April. When we arrived we were greeted so warmly by Najat, the hotel owner. That great first impression was reinforced again and again by the kindness, helpfulness and humor of Najat and her entire staff. There's a lovely garden off the lobby that serves great drinks, wine, beer and some very good food. It's the perfect spot to relax after a long day of sightseeing. It also seems to be popular with Amman locals and tourists alike. La Locanda is small and intimate with music as a theme, which extends from a space for live performances, to murals and to the rooms – each room is named after a famous Arab singer/musician. The hotel has some creative graphical touches, like the in-room musicians' portraits composed of a repeating pattern of the hotel logo on a wall panel and curtains printed with Arab script. We stayed in a different room each of our two stays and both were great – comfortable, nicely laid out, quiet and clean. The neighborhood is charming and walkable. The hotel can also arrange transportation (they booked an airport transfer for us as well as a daytrip to Jerash and a driver to take us to Petra). We're so glad we found La Locanda and chose it over a large, impersonal chain hotel. We really appreciate the way everyone made us feel so welcome. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

This was a delightful small hotel with an excellent adjacent restaurant. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. There are no room numbers. Instead each room is named after a famous international musician, many of them from Middle East countries. We stayed there the first two nights of our 8 day visit to Jordan and on our last night in the town. Every Monday the hotel hosts a Jazz concert with local musicians. If I ever return to Amman, this will be my choice for a place to spend my nights.

Our stay at the Locanda Boutique Hotel in Amman had a rocky start due to a check-in issue upon arrival. However, the gentleman behind the desk handled the situation impressively with quick-thinking and ease. He found us an alternative hotel across the street, ensuring that we had a place to rest after a long journey. His proactive and accommodating approach in finding us a solution demonstrated the well-trained staff and excellent management at Locanda. The next day, we moved back to Locanda and throughout the remainder of our stay, all interactions with the staff were equally respectful and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, and the food at the downstairs restaurant was a welcoming change for the end of our trip. Despite the initial hiccup, our experience at was great, and I would consider staying here again on future trips. A great option.
