Great Hotel which was part of our Intrepid tour but, due to my husband becoming ill and requiring hospitalization in Amman, I extended our stay for a further week. Special thanks go out to a wonderful young Man, Mohammad at the front desk (Reception), he was so much help to me at this very stressful time, he took care of calling the ambulance for my husband, re-booking the same room for a further week, always checking to know my husbands condition and my welfare. This young man is kind, caring, friendly and professional, nothing was ever too much trouble. Another person who greeted me with a smile every morning at breakfast was Sam the Maître d, always happy and also inquiring about my husbands recovery and, never failed to give me a breakfast box to pack for my husband. Another person who I would like to mention is the breakfast Chef Sbaih, not only a great Chef, he also was very professional, friendly & caring and asked after my husband each morning. The facilities in this hotel are wonderful, clean and inviting, helpful and friendly staff, I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Hotel's Favourite
It is really nice to arrive at a hotel, just past midnight and be greeted by warm smiling faces. The staff we encountered were efficient and courteous. Our two day stay was really pleasant and the breakfasts superb. Even at meal times the staff were very eager to please, particularly the man tasked with making omelettes and pancakes! The rooms were very tidy and the hotel spotless. However, some of the views from the room were a little uninspiring but as the hotel was serving mainly as a base for activities elsewhere, this was not a problem. Rooms 611 & 612 overlooked a car park in an adjacent building. Very quiet and unlike our last visit to Amman there was no call to prayers heard from our room. The layout of the hotel was a little confusing as the building was built on a slope and the reception was on a higher level than most of the rooms.

We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely, very large spacious room with sofa, armchair, desk, sumptuous bathroom with walk in shower. Bed was spacious and comfortable. Large choices for breakfast. Very hospitable and polite staff. Had a great buffet dinner here. Walked to the Roman Citadel from the hotel in about 30 minutes.

Outstanding hotel - our highest reccommendation!! Spotlessly clean room. Fabulous buffet meal. Restaurant so very well managed by the jacketed manager. Good balance in managing the needs of the tour groups and those of the independent travellers. Both were valued equally. Reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable with excellent language skills. The location is good - close to the Jett bus station (for Petra!). Apparently the Toledo is a family hotel - the family should be very proud.

Comfortable rooms. Stayed twice & was lucky enough to be given a suite on the second stay. The staff are all friendly & helpful. Great that an uber can be booked from the desk. The breakfast was the best we had during our stay in Jordan. Fresh pancakes & strawberries were divine. We also ate twice in the restaurant in the evening. Good selection of local cuisine, my goodness the portions are huge so make sure you are hungry. Special thanks to Fadi who was friendly along with a sense of humour.

We spent two nights here before we toured Jordan and two nights after. We were upgraded to a suite the second time which was lovely. The staff were very helpful when we were trying to find a particular restaurant and even booked our taxi for us. The breakfast was ok but would have benefited from some sliced fruit such as melon and grapefruit. It was an ideal hotel for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Toledo hotel while visiting Jordan. It is a clean and family friendly hotel in a convenient location. The best part of the hotel is the wonderful staff who were warm and welcoming and helpful. Also, we stayed at lots of hotels as we traveled around Jordan but the Toledo was by far our favorite breakfast and chef! If we were to return to Jordan we would definitely stay at the Toledo again.

We stayed at the Toledo both before and after an Explore tour of Jordan. Very comfortable and a great breakfast. If you can try for room 410 (or probably any room ending in 10). These are mini suites and are very comfortable, we were lucky enough to be upgraded.

As soon as we stepped in we got such good positive vibes. Staff were friendly and so helpful that anything we needed they made sure to give it to us. The chef who makes breakfast, knew how I was craving watermelon and made sure it was served to us at breakfast to my surprise. All these small things matters and I can't fault it in any way. We all used to look forward to eating breakfast as we had a nice selection and foods. Service is amazing and staff are very progressional. Currently in another hotel near Petra and we are having an awful time getting the basic and I can't to return to your hotel.

I stayed here at the beginning and end of an Intrepid trip. Both rooms were clean. One had a nice view of the mosque, the other was on the first floor, but very quiet despite the traffic. Staff was always helpful and friendly, even when I arrived at 1 am. They helped arrange a day tour before I joined my group and luggage storage between checkout and my airport transfer, making it clear I was still welcome to use their lounge space. Breakfast was plentiful with a nice mix of food.
