Although the hotel is a little dated in it’s design and room decor, it has charm. Appropriately priced, the value for money is worth giving the hotel a chance. My experience with the front desk staff, house keeping, breakfast staff downstairs, black iris lounge, and club level lounge were all positive. The social spaces (lounges, restaurants, and bars) are more modernized and comfortable. The breakfast is extremely good and the club lounge has 6-8 happy hour with finger foods (well worth the 25JD extra a night) I like that there are quite floors (6&7) for people who do not like hearing children and other guests partying. The rooms are extremely clean (no issues with smoke smells either) and the housekeeping staff is very polite, friendly, and hospitable. I would recommend staying hear. Negatives This is me being fare in my review to others who may stay hear. The room decor (art work) could use some updating (maybe something that represents the country or city with a classic look) the bathrooms (tub and shower) could be updated). The staff at night downstairs can be slow at times and hard to find (I recommend going upstairs to the black iris if you have a drink). I understand this is primarily a Muslim country but I would prefer the drinks to be a little more liberal if I’m paying 7-10JD each. Going to the gym or spa (which I will not review because I did not use it) can be unpleasant in the winter or during bad weather as you are required to walk outside to a separate building. Otherwise I was very pleased.

I've travelled a lot whether for business or pleasure and have visited numerous hotels but this was honestly one of most favored hotel experiences. Starting from the initial welcoming at the reception desk, and swift procedures I knew I was in for an experience of a lifetime. The staff are extremely helpful and always welcoming anywhere you go. The food was extremely tasty, well presented and clean (I'm a bit picky). Cleaning service was extraordinarily efficient and room service was quick and very well presented (very tasty too). The rooms are quiet and no noise came from adjacent rooms or the hall which I found extremely relaxing. Personally I felt everyone there aimed at making my stay as comforting as possible and never hesitated to offer assistance at any time. I really loved it and came back bragging about my stay to every member of my family.

It was a good decision for us to take Crowne Plaza in Jordan, the location is accessible to any places you wanna go. We went to have a dinner at Cafe Vienna, if you a good fan of shisha they serve the best here and also local dish which is budget friendly meal. Well hotel booking just like any other services, has become more and more competitive over the years. But still there's a rule, while you can find a bed and breakfast anywhere, the cleanliness, the comfort, the environment, the location of the facility, and the level of service of the staff makes a huge difference.
During my 10 day stay at Crown Plaza, I experienced first hand the high level of service. I will start with a great group in the reception area, they meet you with a smile, and kindness that makes you feel warm and welcome. The rooms are great, the bed is comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the showers are great, many storage areas in the room to put all your clothes and stuff. The restaurant, and lobby are elegant and very cozy, good to do some work while having a coffee, the internet service all over is also good. The food from room service is ok, some I enjoyed some I didn't like, overall not bad. Leaving the best for last, the room cleaning staff, and here I specify Wissam who was in charge of cleaning rooms in the floor I was staying in, his professionalim and dedication to his work, attention to every detail, they are lucky to have him at the hotel, and I'm sure his work and the way he treats guests, is one of the reasons they come back.
Overall Crown Plaza is Excellent, also the prices are affordable.

I am so lucky that I was moved to finish my last 5 day quarantine at Crown Plaza Amman Hotel . The staff is so much hospitable and welcoming. Everyone wants to help and makes you feel at ease . I really salute the management for their great readiness and preparedness . The room is very clean ; detergents , hygiene, antiseptics, gloves, masks , liquid soaps are all provided for free without asking . The generosity in the amount of water bottle , fizzy soft drinks and juices is superb . The food is clean and packed in a hygienic way . Thanks for the welcoming tasty fruit basket as well . I am so fortunate to stay here and once I am done with quarantine and back to my work abroad , I ll definitely choose this hotel to stay at when I am visiting Jordan back again . So much recommended :)

From the moment I made the reservation to the extended time of checking out several days later, the level of service was one of the best I have ever experienced in many decades of travel, especially in the Middle East. The reservation was handled very quickly (Khaled Amarin) and the arrival check in after a long journey was smooth and professional (Khaled Abu Alharja)
I was given a very generous check out time due to a flight delay by Sa’ed Al Jarreh and when I had to return to the hotel after a flight cancellation with no pre booked arrangement, the duty manager Ala Al Zaben made an instant room available without any problem at all.
To summarise, despite being a Platinum Ambassador, the level of hospitality and professionalism at the Crowne Plazza Amman is exceptional.
I can’t rate the hotel and it’s staff highly enough....

All this time been staying in this hotel , because i love their genuine hospitality and very helpful. To mention dima in reception being patient to explain about the ihg membership and benefits and the housekeeping staff on the 10th floor (dont remember the name) , he is amazing and always take care of my room from day to day basis, refilled what is missing and i really appreciates gestures like that, this is the reason why i preferred to stay in Crowne plaza. To mention also the staff at BLACK IRIS they are very efficient and i love their beautiful smiles, knowledgeable and professionally trained in service and communication. My overall stay is perfect! Best brkfst hotel we have had for a long time. The variety of local and general fare was large and all very tasty. Coffee was not hot, best one might say it was mildly warm. However, the coffee was tasty.
Rooms were clean and the WiFi was excellent. Size of room was not spacious but adequate. Location of the hotel was at the intersection of two very busy highway and street system, so walking from hotel was marginal at best.

Normally the outdoor pool is closed in the month of October. However, the inside pool is open all year around. When you check-out from the hotel, you can secure your luggage and belongings in the hotel and still use the hotel services such as the Gym, where there are showers and toilets.
For extra charges or expenses in hotel ? You can pay cash or crdiet card.
Also when you check in they ask for credit card or cash as deposit or under account & upon check out you can settle all expenses
Hey Honeymaddok, The hotel is maximum of 45 minutes away of airport that goes for most of Amman's hitels, and they can arrange you transportation if you contact them in prior with a reasonable price, that will take you directly to the hotel.
