Opal Hotel is located on the airport road, 15 minutes away from the Seventh circle, 15 minutes away from Queen Alia airport and 20 minutes away from the downtown markets. We constructed it on an estimated area of around 15000 square Meters, to grant you vast areas to freely move around and numerous Parking spaces to easily park your cars in the hotel vicinity. The hotel is distinguished by its location.

The entrance to the hotel is impressive with it’s beautiful flowers and fountain. The front office person Ismail was most helpful and amended the error of sending the taxi to the airport for us at the wrong time by crediting us the amount right away. The room is spacious, though, a bit jaded. The carpet looked old. Otherwise, I have only wonderful memories of this hotel. The staff is exemplary and the waiters at the restaurant bend backwards for you. Kudos to Yahyah who always served us with a smile and a special dish recommendation. The Lebanese dishes were delicious and reasonable priced. Their breakfast too was widespread. Security is great at this hotel. It is not situated in the city, but it’s still very convenient. Their spa looked great. Wish we had more time! 👍👍

The parking attendants caused a traffic jam with their incompetent directing of traffic. The fridge didn't work. The room reeked of cleaning products. And I could hear very loud music thumping until late at night.

We went for dinner. The restaurant as an Arabic style restaurant is very nice the scenery is lovely. They claim to offer Lebanese & International cuisine. However it is only Lebanese with some Armenian dishes. We ordered some Lebanese and some armenian dishes. The food was so bad the Armenian dishes has nothing to do with Arminian dishes. They have no clue only using the names. So I advise not to try any. The rest of the food was so bad presentation is good but the taste and quality is terrible some dishes like Muhamara a typical Syrian dish has nothing to do with Muhamrah even the main dish the Kebab was burnt. The only acceptable dishes were the nakanek and sujuk the salads were terrible. I am a retired hotelier and it upsets me to see people spend money on projects this size but without asking you can see it is privately run. How can you make a five star hotel and run it privately!!! I really advise them to bring a management company to fix it. I noticed many many other mistakes in their bad running of the hotel but it is all mistakes due to being privately run.

We stayed in this hotel the night before taking our return flight. The hotel has a good ratio quality price compare to other hotels near the airport -the room are very spacious and clean -breakfast is correct with local products even if I found that 7.00am is a bit late to start breakfast for an hotel close to the airport

We stayed at the hotel for only one night and the experience was just amazing. Starting from the entrance to the room, i was impressed by the decoration. Modern with a classy touch. Staff were very friendly especially muhammad. Very kind and helpful. Room were very spacious, cleaned and well organised. Large bathroom. A comfortable bed, clean bedsheet and nice soft pillow. We had a good sleep as we were tired after a long hectic journey. The hotel is 15 mins away from the airport. Large variety for breakfast We even had free access to the swimming pool which was great. Also we were given a late check out which was practical for us as our flight was very late. Unforgetable day in this hotel. I totally recommend opal for your next stay in amman.

I've stayed in some luxurious places in my day but the Opal Hotel in Amman, Jordan tops them all. It's 5 Star in every way. The staff were all terrific. Both the dinner restaurant and the breakfast buffet are beyond amazing. They had 3 weddings during our first night staying there but they ended relatively early so there was no problem sleeping from wedding noise. The first night, there was a dog barking at a local farm till 2:30 a.m. The second night this wasn't an issue. This is obviously something the hotel can't control. But if you are concerned about this, I suggest you don't get a room on the same side of the hotel as room 109 (I think this is the back side of the hotel but am not sure).

I stayed in this hotel for one night and I had a really good time. Below is a summary: PROS: - Room quality. Clean and spacious, I slept very well. - Food. Extremely large buffet, both at breakfast and dinner, even during the Ramadan period. - Staff. Very helpful and friendly staff. They even called me to my room to find out how my stay was going. CONS: - Location. Convenient to get to the airport but inconvenient if you want to visit Amman.

Opal is a brand new hotel just 15 minutes away from the airport. We loved our huge rooms and comfortable beds! Front desk efficient and helpful. It was Ramadan and the buffet was jam packed with eaters! Excellent food. Note this is a dry hotel!! No booze. Nothing nearby so best as a transit stop.
