My first time to the Nur restaurant and I loved it. The buffet had everything you could want and it was very fresh. On top the food and beautiful decor the wait staff excellent! Hadeel was floating around the room taking care of everyone on a very busy day! She was always helpful with a smile and my plates and glasses were never empty!

My husband and I stayed 4 days at Fairmont. We enjoyed our visit. The breakfast was nice with so many selections. The two hard working waitresses worked continuously to help guests. We had dinner at the steak house. The workers there were highly professional. They treated us like royalty. Still the best part was the gym. Even though the pool did not have life guard, Alissa, the reception at the gym explained the situation politely. Again, one of the lady's room worker, Zekieh, took a couple of minutes to check on me while I was in the pool. She also made sure the change room was nice and tidy when I finished my swim. I also enjoyed the young lady who taught us yoga on Monday at 7:30 pm . Even my husband had some good comments about the yoga class. Almost forgot, the gentleman on the car rental was extremely helpful to provide us map and directions around Fairmont if we wished to do some shopping. All in all we had a great experience. The hotel is magnificent, we had a panoramic room with a view of the city. positive point: - Clean and recent hotel - Several very high quality restaurants - Free parking available to customers. What could have been avoided and made the stay perfect: - Impossibility of sleeping during one night following an engagement in the hotel, music that we heard up to the 10th floor. (I think we must think of the customer of the hotel in these situations because even if it is for a happy event it can be annoying. -During the check in being a Gold member I requested a Check out later which was accepted until 4:30 p.m. I receive a call on the day of departure at 11:30 a.m. asking me to vacate the room, after negotiation on the phone I was able to stay until 3:30 p.m. I find this regrettable for a hotel of this standard and unpleasant to have to explain that we We already discussed this at check in. Without these 2 events it would have been an absolutely perfect stay. House Kipping is adorable and thanks also to Philip for his welcome and his kindness. My second visit here, and this time I spent 7 nights. It is a lovely hotel, the room is amazing - so spacious and comfortable, and well maintained. As with last time, I think the biggest let-down are the reception staff. They are simply not friendly, welcoming, or helpful. There was a bit of a wait to be served, and then I was checked-in to a room that was a grade below the room I had booked (and paid for). After realising this upon arriving in the room, I called reception. They didn't respond, and eventually did, and rectified the situation - but this took nearly an hour. With this out the way, I had an enoyable stay. Breakfast is excellent, and I enjoyed a few evenings at the bar; both had good food and good staff.

My wife and I went into Amman for few days and stayed in the Fairmont, from the time we checked in till the time we checked out, we were impressed with the service mentality the team had, they did everything in their power to show us that they care and want to attend to our needs. we are planning to visit Amman again and because of this that we decided to rebook the hotel again.

I came with high expectation with the fact that the hotel is having high ranking in TripAdvisor. The lobby is beautiful, the check-in process was done, went up to the room. That's when the disaster happened. I have just arrived in Amman, tired from the flight and would like to have a nice shower. When I opened the first bathmat I found long hair which of course not belong to me, I went with it. Then, I opened the second bathmat and found a bunch of tangled hairs, that's when the disgust started. Went down to report and the 2 staffs were focusing too much on resolving the problem and not to me, the guest, as a person. They finally deep cleaned the room and when I returned still found it quite dirty. The reservation is for 3 nights, however, could not bear with it anymore. Since it was already around 9pm so decided to sleep there then move to another hotel the next day for my remaining 2 nights in Amman. Would like to rate 1 but got to meet with the leadership team member of the property where he's so understanding. To be fair, the bed is really comfortable and the rain shower's pressure is good.…
