Granada Hotel is a small cozy hotel located in the midst of Amman. You'll find everything around you from restaurants to cafes to supermarkets to the busy downtown markets that you can't find anywhere else in Jordan. It might be a little too noisy at night but by the time we would get back to the hotel from all the walking and sight seeing, we were too tired to care about all the noise. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a budgeted place.

Because of some older reviews, I wasn't so sure about this hotel, but I can tell you; the Granada Hotel is a perfect place to stay! I felt really comfortable, welcomed and save there. It is very close to nice and interesting areas of Amman and the staff is incredibly helpful. I stayed there for a couple weeks and it was always like coming home. The rooms are very spacious and good equiped (A/C, TV, Shower, Fridge), everything was working fine. The beds are clean and very comfortable. I would definetely stay there again! Thanks for the great time!

The Granada Hotel located in Jabal Amman was my home for more than six weeks between august and september. I would like to call it home because of the memories that the place wished to grant me. The Hotel had all necessary facilities, clean rooms with air-conditioners, round the clock water supply and extremely friendly personnel who were ready to get things back on their feet if something went wrong. The hotel manager Mr. Nadeem is someone who could be trusted, a person who had to be contacted if one needed to know anything about the place, or anything about jordan. I personally tested his patience with a lot of questions and he made sure to answer all questions of mine with a smile. One gentleman Mr. Mohsen is in-charge of the house keeping in the hotel and one could see him constantly running around attending to the calls of the guests with an eternal smile on his face. Rooms were cleaned frequently and the soaps, toilet papers replenished, dust bins emptied beds tidied up etc..etc....There is also a laundry service for those in need of it. The hotel is located in a happening place and yet quite isolated, peaceful and safe. There are restaurants, pharmacy, banks and other all other things that are necessary for tourists in the vicinity. There is also a kitchen in the hotel that stands at the disposal of tourists who wish to cook their own food and a refrigerator for storage. Every room is equipped with cooking utensils and a refriegerator if one wishes use them. Free Wi-Fi is available in rooms for those who wish to make use of it. The hotel has a board at the entrance that reads "nostalgia" and one could understand why it stands there after one has been there for a while. Warm people can change the nature of experiences. People at Granada very warm to such an extent, that my memories there would stay imprinted forerver.

I've been in Granada for quite a while, the price was good, the room clean and well-equipped (incl. AC, fridge and mini kitchen). The hotel staff welcomed us warmly and helped with everything - from calling taxis and adding kitchen eqipment to teaching Arabic and explaining the culture. The hotel is located in a safe district of the city with many trendy bars and restaurants not far away.

During my stay in Amman I lived in the Granada Hotel. Its very good situated, just 2min from the 1st circle and 5min from the Rainbow-Street. Also its very clean and you feel very safe in this area. I was sharing a double room with a friend during our travel in Jordan. We felt more than comfortable with the room which included also a well-appointed bathroom. We had always enough and warm water in the shower. The room also included the possibility to do the dishes. We asked also for a water boiler which we got immediately. We also had the possibility to use the kitchen which had everything we needed to cook a good dinner. There is also free drinking water which you can take always when you want! The staff always got their best and gave us also some really useful informations about Amman and traveling through Jordan. Everybody speaks good English. We never had problems with the internet and it always worked very fast. There is also a computer in the lobby which you can use if you didn’t take your computer with your travel. All in all I can say its one of the best hotels where I stayed in Jordan and it made me feel more like staying in friends house than in a hotel. It also has good and fair prices!

I stayed in Granada during my internship I did for moee then month in Amman. It was a very pleasant nice time. The stuff of the Hotel did everything to make our stay pleasant - they even bought some stuff for the Kitchen that we could cook there! Once I had a problem with the WC but it was fixed immediately after I informed the maneger. Hotel has a very good lokation: almost in the city center and the owner always gave me nice advices where to go. He knows a lot of people in Amman so often we got discounts for example in Hammam or Restaurants. I saw someone wrote here about water- yes once we really didn't have woter for a while - but you shouldn't forget it is Jordan- her it is usual problem everywhere. But also this problem was fixed very fast. So if you are traveling in Jordan and wants to visit Amman or are even going to stay here for longer time like me- Granada Hotel is a good choice for a very fair price

Do not let you discourage because of the negative reviews. The hotel was my home for 5 weeks and I have nothing to complain. I shared the room with a mate, there was enough space for two people. We had all what we need to relax and to unplug from the routine. The location ist more than fine. You are just 2 minutes by walking of the First Circle and the Rainbow Street. The Downtown was just around 15 minutes away. The hotel ist actually a very good optinon in Amman.

This was booked as part of our geckos tour, whilst we knew we would not be staying in 5 star places we at least expected running water. When we called reception to ask about it we were told I hope you have bottled water. The water do not come back on until 11.30am after being told it would be on by 8am. Couldn't have a shower, couldn't flush the toilet. Very poor indeed. We went for breakfast and there was hair in the butter. The bread was flat bread not even toast. Our tour company in Jordan moved us to another hotel. Unless you don't mind camping I would not book this hotel.

We were booked to stay here through a tour and although the location was great there were a few things that I felt were a bit below par. Firstly was the sheets on the bed. They didnt have fitted sheets and the flat sheets seemed too small so that if you moved at all they did too. It meant that most of the time you spent sleeping directly on the mattress, no mattress protector of course. Then there was this incessant buzzing noise that went all day and all night. It never could figure out what it was but everyone who had a room on the second flor could hear it. There did seem to be a fair bit of construction going on too. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and the third floor bar was interesting. Though you would go broke trying to get drunk there!

Recently spent 4 nights here and a great location next to Rainbow street ( all the western type of restaurants). Easy walk down the hill to the down town area but take a taxi back as hill is quite steep. I think I paid about $2 to get back.Wifi good. Tip. Make sure you go up to the bar on the 3rd floor. You would swear that you were in a New York up market bar.
