Fantastic hostel and the gentleman working the front desk (I think he was Polish and moved to Israel to be closer to his grandchildren, but my memory is fuzzy because it was a few months ago) was absolutely LOVELY. The place was extremely clean and well-run and I'd recommend it to anyone. It also has a perfectly central location.

Post hotel is a good choice for cheap accommodation in Jerusalem. It is not so clean , especially in the reception hall. Rooms are very small and simple. The hotel is very close to old city , you can arrive there by walking.

We enjoyed our stay for 5 days. The location to the old city was great. Also the easy on and off of the light rail or buses near by. Plenty of food options as well. The rooms are small but that is what is expected at a hostel. The common room is great as well. We recommend this place to singles, couples and families alike.

Basically a good position , friendly personal , but .......considering we stood 3 nights in a nearby hotel for a lower price in better atmosphere and service , it has to be said : from all the overpriced general impression , this was the top ! The (paid) breakfast is lousy and to much adopted to locals (which probably don't go there)......dry bread-triangles , instant- or turkish-coffee (self-service ) or cappuccino for extra price is not a way of starting with positive feelings in the day. The entrance is rather shocking, looks more like the back-door of some storage-place (see photos), the rooms are rather high than spacey , but OK . The bathroom is nice , but the cleaning of it seems to stop after wiping it a bit (all angles of the shower or the door look like forgotten details.....

Very well located, close to City Hall tram station, and in very good state. Price is a little expensive, but hey, it's Jerusalem. :) Breakfast could be a little bit better but it is optional, so you can see it first before paying it. Private bathroom is great.
