My wife and I, stayed in the villa Brown Ba Moshava for 5 nights. It was an excellent stay and we were completely satisfied. We were fascinated by the building from the outside and the beautiful lobby. We stayed in a family room(English Family room) for more space. It was clean and it had everything that we needed. The staff and management were friendly and helpful in all our questions. The hotel is next to the street Emek Refaim, which is full of shops and restaurants. The distance from the old city is about a twenty minute walk. Definitely we recommend it to anyone and of course we would stay again, if we will visit Jerusalem again.
Best hotel we stayed in Israel. Staff were super helpful and helped us with tours and ongoing travel. Beautifully renovated hotel, characterful Villa and a haven of a garden with drinks and coffee all day. Location is quiet and away from the really busy area of Jerusalem but absolutely in walking distance. The only thing that would have added to our perfect stay would have been breakfast served at the hotel. The vouchers were great for the nearby places and we had great breakfasts but the garden and lounge is just stunning and would be a perfect place to have breakfast on site. Thank you so much for looking after us so well and going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. This is the only place that I would stay if I come back to the City and great value for money.
Great location. Friendly stuff. Very clean rooms. Very warm welcome in reception. Fridge and cofee maker in the room. German Colony, theater, Old city are very close. Nice surrounding, numerous dining options
What a lovely way to stay in Jerusalem. Great location, charming villa, warm and hospitable staff, little touches that make the stay comfortable and inviting. I not only highly recommend Villa Ba Moshava but intend on booking my stay for on my return to Jerusalem.
Friendly staff, the room was clean, equipped with sweet gestures and wine. Great location to go out walking to tourist attraction in Jerusalem. Quiet neighborhood and I really liked to stay at night in the hotel garden which is located in the entrance with good coffee or wine. Enjoy your stay
The villa was the perfect home away from home! The villa staff was exceptional—-the patio was a wonderful relaxing space. Morning cappuccino was wonderful. The small room didn’t matter as the outdoor space is ideal. Breakfast at nearby cafes was terrific!
An amazing place to stay at, the most perfect professional experience of service and most welcoming staff. I definitely recommend Villa Hamoshava as a beautiful staying in Jerusalem. The people at the reception are really helpful and super friendly! Feels like home. Thank you so much.
Stayed there for a weekend. The rooms are not large, but adequate. I would think that for a longer stay the wardrobe space would not be enough - in fact, there wasn’t a wardrobe as such, rather a rail in an alcove, with a shelf below so that it was impossible to hang long dresses, etc. The room had a safe, a fridge and a coffee-making machine, for which I was given a demonstration when I checked in. I had a corner room with two small balconies. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a bath with a very good shower over it, and unusually for a non-luxury hotel, really good-size bath sheets, a real plus. Everything was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is coffee, tea and ice cold drinks available in the lobby, and a lovely outside courtyard where one can sit with a drink. Having said that, the only drink you can buy from the “bar” in the lobby is a bottle of wine! If you have ordered breakfast, you are given a voucher to spend at a cafe about five minutes walk away, in a road with shops, cafes etc. All in a lovely, residential part of Jerusalem away from the main tourist areas, which can be reached quite easily. This is a little gem of a boutique hotel, as someone said, quite quirky. I would stay there again. …
Jerusalem is full of rude people and insanity. Fortunately, the people who run this hotel have created a safe haven from such negativity. Whether i needed ice, a cab ride, or local suggestions, they took great care of me and my friends who stayed there. It is an old building, but the upkeep has it looking new and very clean. A nice escape off the main road that is full of angry honking drivers; i slept great in my room. If you have to visit this city, stay here. It is within walking distance of everything. For anything further, they have free bikes you can borrow, or they will call you a friendly cab driver (a rarity in that town not to be underappreciated).
A beautiful building with strong stone bones. Room is compact with a tiny balcony that gave us a verdant view of palms, eucalyptus trees, red tile roof and a good over-view of the neighborhood. Housekeeping staff is pleasant and hard working. (Special mention of the petite young girl who we saw tirelessly cleaning from almost dawn to almost dusk and had a sunny smile and helpful nature) The breakfast tie-up that BVM has made with 2 Cafes, a stone's throw away a good concept. Caffite, at the corner spot stole the top spot by our reckoning. [However, a slight bitter after taste was the unfortunate booking a cab incident. Different rates were quoted at the reception desk. And in a space of 10 minutes a price deal escalated 😳 ] I guess when the cost of living is high in a city,, such instances of price fluctuations happen but it seems like a rip off. The BVM is a pretty place and made our 5day stay comfortable.…
