This is a great hotel with fantastic staff. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the Jaffa Gate entrance to the old city and a 2 minute walk to the heart of the new city. It is located amongst a plethora of restaurants and cafes and the surrounding streets house many shops. The Jewish food market is a 10 minute walk away. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Some of the welcoming features include a free minibar which is restocked on request (soft drinks only) in addition there is a happy hour from 5pm to 7pm with free wine and juices and a great range of finger foods (you really don’t need dinner after this😊) All up it is a perfect base for exploring Jerusalem

A great place to stay. Rooms and common areas are clean. Staff is outstanding. It is obvious the manager understands hospitality management and customer service. Even when we had special requests, the staff was happy to help. They have a complimentary happy hour Sunday-Friday. Located one block off Ben Yehudah and one block off of Yafo. A great central location. It was not noisy at night. I HIGHLY recommend booking your Jerusalem stay at Arthur!

From checking in to checking out we had the most welcoming and enjoyable experience. The hotel manager Ayala is leading the staff in the most professional way . Starting with the welcoming face of Mounira at the reception through the pleasant faces of the folks at the Happy Hour and breakfast, we felt like home during the 24 hours we spent in the hotel, celebrating a birthday of our family member Keep up the good work!!! Amazing hotel, very clean and nice, good breakfast, very nice staff, Muhammad greeted us with warmth and smile and the rooms were ready earlier than official check in which was great. We celebrated my parents anniversary and we got marvellous plate of sweets and fruit for the occasion. Happy hour from 5 till 7 p.m includes some snacks and wine. Long story short the value equals the price, we enjoyed our stay very much and definitely will come back again. Thanks to all the staff of the hotel for making this micro vacation the best we hoped for

Positives: Location- the Downtown Triangle including Ben Yehuda Street. Also, a 25 minute walk to the Western Wall. The atmosphere was nice. The female staff was extremely friendly. Negatives: The room was cramped for two people, Mahmud (working the reception area), not friendly. When a guest walks by in the lobby you acknowledge them, you smile, you shouldn't frown like this is the last place you want to be. You're in the people business. Breakfast was not included. Breakfast was $100 shekels per person. Wasn't worth the money. You can go to the restaurant across the hotel and pay a fraction of the price for a better breakfast. The hotel is small so no pool. That's always a negative for me. The room was beyond crowded and small. There really was no where to put your suitcases.

Hi 320gada; Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our hotel’s superb location near to all that Jerusalem to offer. Allow me to clarify a few points. Check-in is from 3:00 PM. You arrived to the hotel at 9:00 AM. Our reception manager, Mahmoud (who you mentioned in your review) was kind enough to check you into a room at 9:00 AM with no supplement for the very early check-in. Not only did he give you an early check-in, he invited you to enjoy our full, lavish Israeli breakfast at no charge. Once again, to clarify, your reservation was booked on Room Only Basis, which obviously did not include breakfast. The next morning you wanted to have breakfast and were told that the rate is 100. Shekel. You wrote in your review that the breakfast was not good so we were puzzled that you wanted it again. Mahmoud was very kind in providing you with a complimentary breakfast the morning that you arrived so early. Unfortunately, because you were charged for breakfast the next day, (as it was not included in your stay), you wrote the type of review that you did. The majority of feedback that we receive, especially regarding our dedicated staff is consistently positive and because of this, we are very surprised and sorry that your experience was the opposite. Best Regards, Estelle Hock – Guest Relations Manager, Atlas Hotels Ayala Dekel - Hotel Manager, Arthur Hotel

Arthur hotel in Jerusalem is part of Atlas hotel group, Last year we stayed at the Harmony hotel also belonging to the Atlas group in Jerusalem and we have had a fabulous stay. This year we decided to stay at the Arthur hotel. We fell in love from the first moment. The check in was very easy and the reception was kind. The hotel is cozy and clean. Very comfortable and has a perfect location. The crew is service oriented and tried to fulfill any of our wishes. Breakfast was excellent. We also used the parking arrangements of the hotel which worked perfectly for us. One can tell that the place is managed professionally with lots of care and love to the guest as well as to the employees. We will definitely come again also with friends. Very good value for money.

The hotel is located in the center of Jerusalem, a great place to discover the city. The room is comfortable, rather quite, although in the middle of the pedestrian street with a convenient bad, coffee machine. They serve one if the best breakfasts I have had and we were suprised with the nice happy hour when we arrived. The staff is very nice and welcoming, allowed us to stay longer on our departure date. We will definitely come again.
