My family has been coming to the David Citadel since before I was born. Every time we come, we are instantly welcomed by the staff, who even remembers us by name. The service is amazing, especially the daily breakfast and Shabbat dinner. Abed and Said are always there to help, remembering our favorite food and drink orders not only from day to day, but from years ago. We really feel like family when we come to the David Citadel. We can’t wait to come back soon!!

The staff was excellent, and very courteous and professional. The location was very convenient. The breakfast was great and had a variety of options. Our room had a magnificent view especially at night. Just beautiful. Whatever I needed, the staff took care of it right away. Really enjoyed my stay and when I come back will definitely stay at the hotel.

My wife and I fell in love with Jerusalem staying at the hotel for 3 weeks. The room was quiet and the staff was 5 star!!!! The best location in Jerusalem. We loved our breakfast waiter Said, he made us laugh, and he gave us knowledge of Jerusalem and the sights. Said welcomed us with a smile every morning and took care of our every desire. We are very grateful when we get to meet someone magical like Said. The restaurant manager Abed also was always kind and loving to us. The swimming pool is fantastic and the whole hotel is 5 stars. My stay was excellent! The view of the Old City was unbeatable and the hospitality was excellent. In particular, an employee named Said was friendly and amicable. He was enthusiastic and warm every day, and a pleasure to converse with. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Jerusalem.
