Pleasant hotel, in great location but like every hotel in Israel suffers from that kosher food offering. The staff are helpful and friendly, the room is clean and has views to die for but goodness me the food offering is at best poor. Breakfast is reasonable but they promise smoke salmon on the menu but there is more chance of finding human life on the Marie Celeste. That is the good bit. The evening offering is far worse. There are no meat offerings. Before you get angry with me over kosher, the sister hotel the David Intercontinental, in Tel Aviv does. I put up with 2 bland vegetarian offerings and ventured into the nearby village. A decision I did not regret. Plenty of choice there.

First time here since change from a Crown Plaza. Now is a Dan property. Spectacular location with stunning views of the harbor. The first room was quite small with no desk so we asked the staff to move us to a room with a desk, Within an hour they had moved us to a bigger room with a desk which made all of the difference in the world. Rana and Orwa were very pleasant and answered all of my questions in English since I don't speak Hebrew. Breakfast is very filling and the seating is far enough apart to not feel crowded. Gym is free and has the basics. Pool and hot tub were also free and a good place to swim laps.

my double room cost around 200 usd (700 shekels), about 10 to 15 times what i usually pay for a room on my travels so i was somewhat dissapointed with the ordinary room.
it was reasonable in size, very clean and orderly, the bathroom- nothing to write home about and a very limited view from the window. bed was big but far too soft for comfort.
the room came with a free entrance to the indoors pool- not very inviting and to the pleasure of a jacuzzi beside it. also included was a breakfast which was a truly amazing sumptous treat which made me want to relocate to the dining room.
location is in the Carmel center, 500 meters from the Louis promenade and the top entrance to the Bahai gardens.
the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful and while the the hotel seems overpriced to me, it is probably a normal price for israeli hotels.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights as part of the hotel's run by dan chain. We booked and got an executive room with a balcony. The receptionists (especially Nitzan) were very friendly and gave a great service. When we said that my wife has a birthday, we received a cake during the two days. Thank you!
The advantage of the hotel is mainly the view you see from the Carmel.
The hotel, in my opinion, is only 3 star hotel.
The room was just fine. I assume that there is a insulation problem. Any door closures in the adjoining rooms can be heard inside the room loudly and especially at night.
The bathroom – I have already seen more spacious, luxurious and safer (getting out of the bath is really dangerous). Require renovation from the door to the bath itself.
The food (breakfast) is good and varied although it would have been better if the prepared omelets were thicker and warmer.
Parking – free parking can be found on the street on one side of the street. The hotel car park costs 45 ₪ per day.
Room service needs to be improved.

Very unsatisfied. The establishment needs to replace their managerial staff . We arrived at three pm waited in line for twenty minutes to get two rooms with two twin beds and opened sofa when we ordered two double beds with a baby bed and child ‘a bed. Spent another twenty minutes get things sorted out. Then we went to the pool . No towels and were asked to bring our own from the room being assured that when we return to the room there would be towels . There was not. The pool had very cold water and when leaving the pool it was so cold unlike other indoor pools that the water is warm or the facility is heated. Here was neither. Had a nice diner and went to bed. The bathtub was so far off the crows that easily fall and the tub is slippery which is noted on the wall but nothing on the floor to prevent slipping . At ten thirty woken up by pounding on the door. A white was trying to clean her client but the client screamed that he had still ten more minutes!! Slept well and went to breakfast. No room in the dining hall so ate in the foyer.

I thoroughly recommend this very well run establishment in Haifa.
Clean and well appointed, the service and front desk are first class, the hotel has a beautiful indoor pool and spacious dining room with a panoramic view of the port and lower town.
The food is tastefully presented, plentiful and fresh, the staff always there to assist.
Full of praise for this fine hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel. Great clean and quiet rooms, very comfortable beds, stunning views over the Haifa harbor, delicious breakfast buffet with an outstanding variety of salads and cheeses, close to shops and the metro train, and a great business lounge. But above all, wonderful friendly staff that spare no effort to make your travel smooth even under challenging circumstances.

I booked two rooms at the hotel. Upon check-in, I learnt that by my error I cancelled one of my reservations, leaving two family members with no room. The hotel was full, but Chen at the reception and her manager Michal got us taken care off. Thanks to their dedication and efforts we had a very pleasant stay. Julie the manager was also very helpful. We are regulars in this hotel every time we visit Haifa, and with staff and amenities like this, would not want to stay anywhere else. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

We stayed at the Mirabelle Plaza Haifa in late December and found it to be a perfect option for us. My husband and I were traveling with our son and his wife and had two lovely rooms on the tenth floor. The hotel lobby is charming and there are comfortable couches to sit on and chat, in addition to fresh juices and water with fruit to enjoy for refreshment. The breakfasts were generous and offered a variety of options to choose among. The fresh bread was delicious!

The hotel is a short walk to the Ba'Hai Gardens and is walking distance or a short ride to many fabulous restaurants in the area.

Be area that Haifa is very hilly and the roads are narrow if you are driving!

We chose the Mirabelle Plaza Haifa because of its good reviews and location. We arrived at 2:00, knowing that check in is at 3:00, figuring we'd wait. Long story short, a very difficult woman was at the desk greeting us, and even after 3:00, still insisted that our room wasn't ready- when we asked if we could get a different room, the answer was no. She thankfully went on her break, and I turned to someone else at the desk- Elizabeth- who was lovely, and said 'sure, we can switch your room. Go right up'. There was no reason for a moody greeter.
It is unfortunate that a staff member should leave a bad taste for us. We have traveled extensively, and stayed in many Dan hotels: this is the first time in my life that I have left a negative review.

The distance is about 2 to 3 km. But distance, in this case, is perhaps not the best criteria knowing that the hotel is very much up-hill when the train station is at sea level. There is kind of a subway joining downtown and the hilltop (300 m from the hotel). The best solution remains the taxi, according to me.

I'm not sure all the rooms are non-smoking, although probably most of them are.Nevertheless, you should write them a request when you make the order, and as a precondition you request a non-smoking room. I am quite sure they will provide you a non-smoking room.

Don't know of any walk in showers. As others have suggested I would call the hotel. They are very helpful.

Ask for a handicapped room. The bathtub/showers in the deluxe and standard rooms had a very high side that you had to climb over to get into the shower/tub.
