A great value. Clean room and great location. Breakfast was super. The front desk was very helpful for questions that we have and also helped us book tours. Breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect, only a short walk to beach and restaurants.

What can I start with.. First of all many thanks to the amazing staff working in the front desk, from the moment I checked in until I checked out they always were super nice! Unfortunately I did not see the names but one gentleman helped me when I checked in on the 5th of March in the evening, he also did my checkout! Was super nice Another gentleman was a bit younger he helped me because I forgot my key in the room, super nice aswell! One thing I couldn't imagine happening while I checked in and was walking to my room another customer was sitting outside with his wife and said "baroch haba!" Which means welcome! So not only the staff are nice but also the customers! The place is great! I kept visiting the icemall on my free time (I was in Eilat for the deep sea festival) Second day there was a little bit of noise outside my room but it was just a family going to the swimming pool so can't complain as they were for vacation (I hope they enjoyed) didn't bother me that much because I had to wake up just a little bit after that anyway Also on the second day I went to the city and came back, found an envelope in my room.. it was an invitation to dinner! I didn't book for dinner but I got one on the second day which was super nice from them (it was delicious too, specially the desserts!) Recommended !

Spent a week in Eilat in February 2020. The friendly, smiling, and helpful man working at the reception was the only positive thing in the hotel. But... I've been to better 1*hotels before. If we were lucky, the pool was open a few hours around noon. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was unedible for the first few days until a large group of annoying and noisy Israelian people, with no manners, arrived. One morning there was no milk and only instant coffee. The only decent meal we had was when no dinner was served at the hotel and we were given a dinner voucher to the hotel next door. The dining room and service in the hotel was terrible, the rooms noisy and outdated. I highly recommend to choose any other hotel for your stay in Eilat. I have traveled a lot all over the world and this was my fifth time in Eilat. It was by far one of my worst accommodation experiences ever.

We loved everything in this hotel, we had a room with a balcony, breakfasts were delicious, kosher and great variety. Sauna and jacuzzi were a nice addition to our stay, as well as a New Year's Eve celebration with a dj at the hotel lobby. The staff was very helpful, we would like to revisit.

We would like to point out our unsatisfaction following our stay at te Americana Hôtel Eilat. Several aspects did not meet the minimum standards. 1) room: we were in room 304. It was noisy during the whole night due to some constant background noise of water pipes. The sound isolation of the room is very poor. We could hear everything that was happening in the next rooms and outside. In addition, the mattress was very uncorfortable, resulting in multiple back pains the morning after. 2) reception: during our stay, we noticed several times that there were constant tensions and yelling at the reception between hotel staff and a group of people. In that context, the reception staff were not available to address our questions, and the overall environment at the lobby was tense. This gave a very bad image and feeling of unsecurity in the lobby. 3) unflexibility of staff: we arranged a pick up from the hotel americana, and we kindly asked if we could store our luggage in the luggage room while we wait for our transportation. The staff at the reception refused, and were rude at us saying that since we are not staying in the hotel we cannot access this service. This is not nice and unflexible, especially since we were staying at your hotel the day before !!!

Despite some misunderstandings with tour company and other setbacks I had an exiting time staying at hotel Americana. I am really satisfied about the attitude of the staff to the tourist, so once again, I am pleased with service.
