Amazing hotel for art lovers. This hotel is super unique with its decoration by Banksy and other artists around. We stayed there a few nights and got to try different rooms, and even got upgraded to the presidential suite for our last night :D The staff were very accommodating of our requests (we sent back some art and personal items to europe) and always very friendly and polite. The art gallery features palestinian artists and you can buy their art. There is also a small but powerful museum in the hotel that describes the current geopolitical situation. The hotel hosts a few nights of entertainment and we had a violin night during our stay. Food and drinks are of very good quality and the housekeeping is topnotch in the rooms. Most people might stay there only one night but we think that longer is better. You get to enjoy the whole atmosphere and relax. We cant wait to be back! Would totally recommend it if your budget allows it, it is a very unique and powerful experience !

We visited the hotel because I was here for a family wedding. The staff was so amazing we felt we were at home. We stayed in four different rooms and they were lovely. The good was amazing and the experience was beyond what we expected. The warmth and hospitality is seldom found. They connected us with a tour guide who became a trusted friend who drove the bride and our family to the wedding. The experience was so much better than staying in one of the large hotels because we connected with the staff. The hotel only has 9 rooms so it was like being with a large family at home.

We stayed at the Banksy hotel in August and had a great stay. Before arriving they were so responsive via message to help us organise tours. When we arrived we felt very accommodated for. The hotel interiors are fascinating and I would definitely recommend this hotel if you have time to stay in Bethlehem!

A very beautiful hotel, which carries a big message about the political situation of the Palestinian people. It has wonderful drawings by the artist Banksy. It is located on the side of the wall, and there are many drawings by artists from different countries.

I’ll be honest, if it wasn’t for it being Banksy’s hotel we never would’ve stayed in Bethlehem, It would’ve just been a day trip. I had originally booked one night only but we decided on two nights and I’m so glad we stayed a little longer and got to see the real Bethlehem. As soon as we arrived, we visited the museum inside the hotel. I came out crying, my heart has been hurting for Palestine since. We’ve learnt so much. I encourage you to take the time to read everything in there and watch the videos until the end. What an incredibly emotive experience, you have to visit this hotel, even if it’s just for the museum. Each room has a very unique decor, we were lucky enough to experience a different room for each night. We experienced a minuscule amount of the oppression Palestinians go through every day being surrounded by this ugly wall of shame, except we were able to leave freely. Imagine being walled in on your own land. The locals were some of the kindest humans we’ve met, we were shown around, fed some incredible food, treated like family. Hotel staff are polite and welcoming. Big thank you to Ricardo who helped us out greatly by lending us a phone charger when we didn’t have one (I’m sorry I forgot, I will return it!). We also booked a taxi driver through the hotel to take us on a tour, Alaa - the best taxi driver in Bethlehem!! Thank you so much for showing us real Palestine and opening up our eyes. This is a good and trustworthy man. Follow his instagram: alaa_taxi_driver_bethlehem :) I haven’t stopped thinking about this trip. Our hearts beat for Palestine. We’ll continue to spread the word in the UK about what’s really happening here. If you’re wondering if you should book this hotel or not, this is your sign to book it. 100% worth it. We will be back.

The hotel is absolutely amazing, thought provoking & interesting. Rooms are quirky & it is like living in an art exhibition. The hotel staff are very friendly, approachable & do everything in their power to make you welcome. Breakfasts, walking tour, art gallery & exhibition are wonderful. Would highly recommend!

We didn’t stay overnight but wished we had. I’d been to the Walled Off Hotel twice before as part of a tour group where it was an in and out photo op sort of deal. This time, traveling on our own, we actually had a drink at the great bar and explored the interior and museums and were so glad that we did. Powerful and well done. If you can allow some time to dwell here. Even if you know nothing about Banksy it’s still a great experience.

This is the most unique stay I’ve ever had! The rooms have such character, the drinks and breakfast were amazing and the gallery and museum are definitely worth your time! Honestly, the museum should be in every tour guide book! The location is farther from the main part of town but we didn’t mind.

We had an incredible day with Alaa, our taxi driver/guide of Bethlehem. He really adapted the day to the kids and the flow of the day. For example, after we finished a tour of the churches (which he organized with a wonderful guide specialized in Christianity), he was waiting for the kids with some snacks. He also walked us to a wonderful local tea shop, found the best dates we ever tried, and had lunch in a wonderful local spot that he really good food and fair prices. We had extremely high expectations of our time in Bethlehem after loving it years ago, and Alaa raised the bar with his kindness, knowledge, and conversation. If you plan to visit Bethlehem, contact Alaa directly and he can pick you up from the checkpoint and plan the perfect day, hi contact numbers are +972522731610 +972599592599, Instagram (alaa taxi_driver_bethlehem), Alaa.asakrhaz@gmail.com.
