This is not a 4 Star Hotel.
It has all the makings of one but does not meet up to the standards, given the prices being charged.
Whilst the staff were friendly they need better hospitality training of this level from the moment a guest arrives to leaving.
Breakfast was poor I ended up not eating there, cold coffee, not even fresh fruit juices. Cleaning throughout the Hotel was poor, the lifts, hallways common areas had not been touched during my stay. My bedroom got a quick clean but no detail which you would expect.

The rooftop bar was closed (due to renovation), the restaurant and bar inside the Hotel were not open (??) or serving. So I ate outside.

Whilst I have been reluctant to give this Hotel a poor review, it must live up to its star status and price.

A11 is the only 4 Star Hotel in Uskudar which means no competition, the redeeming feature was the amazing views from the Deluxe Suite and outside by the pool.

All the previous reviews of similar were all correct. Put your money somewhere else if you want to experience a 4 Star Standard.

My review will be long, but those who want to use the hotel will benefit from it.
WHO AM I: Professional tourism professional, business life spanning more than 30 years, countless hotel experiences of all classes at home and abroad.
WHEN AND WITH WHOM A11: With my group of friends for the 100th anniversary celebration dinner of our republic on October 29, 2023. We used the terrace and roof on the hotel's rooftop.
HOTEL'S LOCATION: Unique. It has the easiest access to all of Istanbul, to every point of the city. The ferry port is right under your feet. Marmaray is a minute or two walking distance. If you want to leave the hotel and walk, the entire Üsküdar and Bosphorus line is at your feet.
VIEW: It has the most beautiful view of all Istanbul hotels. This comparison includes big-name and crowded star hotels on the European side. While none of the others see the historical peninsula and Dolmabahçe Palace that make Istanbul Istanbul, the view of A11 Hotel Bosphorus has an extraordinary angle and is panoramic, including Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace, Golden Horn, Galataport, Dolmabahçe Palace, the first and second Bosphorus bridges. You can see this view from all areas of the hotel and from ALL rooms.
SERVICE: The service and kitchen staff were extremely successful and professional. The table/table arrangement and service were flawless and exactly as we wanted. We thank the hotel management for choosing the appropriate staff.
FOOD: Our main course was grilled salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Some people may wonder what's involved in grilling fish, but grilling the fish without leaving it raw and without drying it out requires skill. Each plate was cooked with the same taste and care. Congratulations to the chef.
BUSINESS COMMITMENTS: There was only one thing I could criticize about our food. When we made our reservation, we requested everything in WRITTEN and received confirmation of these in WRITTEN. In the written agreement, it was a condition for us that no customers would be allowed in front of our group that would block the view. However, after the meal started, the manager said "the boss wants it that way, what should I do?" and placed cocktail tables in front of our table to receive customers. TANRIS ERKUL, the hotel's skillful and hard-working banquet manager, solved this problem by working like a bee and sweetly without upsetting anyone. He positioned the cocktail sticks in front of us.
ROOMS: When I went to tour the hotel, I also visited the rooms (but did not stay). All of them have the same magnificent uninterrupted view. Corner rooms have views from both sides. The decoration of the rooms is tasteful, but the application is not very careful. Material quality is average. Here it is necessary to take into account the price-quality balance, it is affordable according to its price.
GENERAL: The hotel is a “winner” in everything.
PROFESSIONAL RECOMMENDATION: To make all kinds of reservations and engagements in writing, in a very clear, detailed and concise manner. This way, there will be no unpleasant situations such as, "I didn't understand, I missed it, I forgot, but we didn't talk" later.

OTHER:
Nearby activities: Since the hotel is in Üsküdar square, there is nothing nearby, everything you can think of is right under your feet. Transportation facilities, bazaar, restaurants, market, beach,... There is an elaborate and newly built spa at the entrance of the hotel, I am thinking of trying this place as soon as possible.

Walking opportunities: Fabulous. Bosphorus line ferry piers are 1 minute walking distance, Marmaray is 3 minutes walking distance. The beach with an extraordinary Bosphorus view is right in front of you, you can walk for kilometers.

Food and beverages: We did not like the hotel's own a'la carte and ready-made menus. That's why a special menu was prepared for our group, and we chose the main course as grilled salmon, which was also available in the a'la carte menu. It was very successful.

Important details: The hotel is rented and operated by the A11 group. The group invested in renovating the rooms. But there are places in the general areas that are worn out and need to be renovated. More attention to detail should have been paid. But here again I would like to emphasize the price/quality balance, considering this is reasonable. The outstanding value of the hotel is its location and view.

I would like to share my extreme disappointment on choosing this hotel to get married and bring our family's to stay.
we found A11 hotel on October 2022 with the help of an event planner my wife hired in Istanbul for our wedding, we liked the location and it seemed like the everything was well put together. the hotel had a sales rep named "Eda" that spoke very little English and for what it seemed like they had no issues accommodating our wedding saying yes to everything we asked for, little that we knew is that they always say 'yes' but never deliver. not long after she got fired and they went through 4 different event planners up until 2 weeks of our wedding so we had to start the planning with every single person because they would never communicate and lie to the next person in charge about the Falce promises they were making to my wife and I.
the last people we dealt with was the General manager "Ayhan" and the new planner "Tanris". they were the MOST UNPROFFESIONAL people I have ever worked in my life, literally AWFUL! we went over the contract and they promised to respect everything signed by THE HOTEL in which they never did, Ayhan Charged us 3k TL by saying that there was a tax increase and we were flexible and paid that difference, then after that he wanted to charge us 3 Thousand TL for some made up charge to one of our rooms, then he tried to charge 100 TL per person because we kindly asked if we could bring 3 bottles of champagne to celebrate our ceremony as champagned wasn't included in the price, even though we had to pay for 50 people when we expected only 32 guests, total rip-off!!! on top of that they wanted to continue leaching our money.. we showed our unhappiness about taking advantage of us and because it was too late for us to choose another hotel we had to suck it up. the day of the ceremony, Ayhan and Tanris went after our videographer and photographer trying to charge them for being there even though it was stated in the contract that they would be allowed at no charge! they did their best to mess things up at our wedding like not serving the champagne or even having plates to serve our cake, on top of harassing all night our photographer/videographer to give them money for just for being there.

Considering all of the struggles and disappointments from A11 Hotel we can only thank Mr. Bora Can at the reception. Almost the whole year of struggle, He really helped us in every aspect by translating between us and sales representatives and managers who can not speak English even a little. In fact, if it were not Mr. Bora Can there, we would have given up on having the wedding at the hotel since the biggening. I am truly grateful to Mr. Bora Can, who made sacrifices in matters that were not his responsibility and helped us in many matters, such a gentle soul he is.. it would of being much easier to work with if he was the responsible manager since it looks like he is the only one who has hospitality experience.

The management at this hotel really killed our excitement and enthusiasm about traveling and making our wedding memorable in Istanbul along with our families, we absolutely would "NEVER" recommend this hotel to anyone as it may ruin your experience in Turkey. If there was an option of ZERO starts I would totally select it but unfortunately still have to give one star.

This is not up to 5 star quality in many areas mainly services, amenities and cleanliness.
The view from the room is absolutely stunning but that's all. Everything else is mostly below average. I think this a new hotel and I doubt they will keep their 5 stars licence in a year or so. Here are the areas that are absolutely not ok:

Room:
*No towel rack in the toilet.
*Shanpoo, conditioner bottles etc are about *10 ml each barely enough for my wife hair. (see picture)
* no quilt blanket or proper blanket. Only a quilt was provided. Extremely unhygienic! (See picture)
* coffee table while the design is nice for a photo with the view is not fixed to the base and it almost fell on us once. Safety issue.
* No lift to the lobby. So from the street you take the lift up one level to the spa and then from the spa you have to up another stairs to the lobby before catching another lift to the rooms. This is NOT ok. A big no for accessibility! People with prams, wheelchairs etc. beware.

* Took my daughter for a swim, then I was approached by the staff pointing me to his mobile phone where he has used Google translate to tell me the pool is not for swimming and only for decoration! I was like what the hell!

* Only the one person at the reception can speak English. I know this is a local problem but at a 5 star hotels you would expect the staff to speak at least minimal English. Communicating little things something like asking for a toothbrush/dental kit was a struggle..let alone explaining that we need a baby cot...took them from checking time till midnight with multiple trips to the reception to understand what is a baby cot/baby bed/baby small bed..Gosh!

* Breakfast: not a staff in sight! The selection is very poor. I have stayed at 2 stars hotels in Istanbul with better selection of items. For example, there is not toast bread nor a toaster and of course staff don't understand what are you asking them about! Another example: Jams come in those cheap sealed packets. Way below average. See pictures.

* Pool area looks like a building roof with barely any furniture or decorations. Some parts were dirty with seagull poo and cigarettes buds... unbelievable!

Blackout curtains do not offer 100% coverage as they are about 10 cm on each side short.

Room service was bad too. For example, we had no toilet papers and the staff didn't bother to leave some.
