Wonderful owners and very knowledgeable. They make you feel at home! Grocery store and bus station are super close while the center of town is a short (and very cheap) cab ride away. The beds are comfortable, the AC is effective, and it’s quite easy making friends as a solo traveler! Highly recommend.
THERE'S A YURT IN THE HOSTEL COMPOUND, WE REPEAT A YURT IN THE HOSTEL COMPOUND! What a welcome to the hostel to walk through the gates and look to your left to see a f*****g yurt, absolute belter! There may not be an abundance of apples situated around Apple Hostel but there's a yurt! Apple Hostel, situated west of the Western Bus Station in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan is in such a quality location. You come off a long bus ride from Tashkent, walk west for 2 mins and hiya pal you're being welcomed by the yurt. Take the Matrushka from Almaty, Kazakhstan and hiya gal pals you're in the Apple hostel compound. The Western Bus Station may not be located in downtown Bishkek (aye no s**t loser travels it's called western for a reason), but it's not far from quite a few attractions. From Apple Hostel to the notable Osh Bazaar it's only a 25-minute walk and after buying yourself a cute Kalpak to show off to the girlies back home, you can walk the same amount of time to downtown Bishkek. check out losertravels.com for the full review!…
I stayed at the Apple hostel for 4 days and enjoyed my stay! Apple hostel has a polite and helpful staff. Also cleanliness and design of the hostel are good. There are quite interesting books, booklets and journals to read at the hostel. The coworking zone is additional plus. There is also quite good canteen with reasonable prices called Daamduu close to the hostel. The hostel provides some meal for breakfast at the canteen. Moreover, the hostel organizes quite interesting events during the week as preparing some food, going to the tour and watching film. We prepared delicious palaw (plov) and had fun cooking it! Also the tour to the beautiful Ala Archa national reserve was great! Kop rahmet and all the best to the staff of Apple hostel! Aydos from Republic of Karakalpakstan…
I really like this place! Friendly staff, nice breakfast, good hangout spot. They organize day trips to Ala Archa and other places for more days! All the nights we were there they had activities during the evenings, like movie night, game night, cooking together etc! We enjoyed our stay, will be back!🇸🇪❤️
The staff was very nice and our room was clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located next to the bus/taxi station so getting around was easy. They organized an airport pickup for us and were helpful! Nice budget place!
I had a terrible experience staying at this place. Here is why: When i book this place from a website my payment was confirmed with everything included taxes and fees + the breakfast. When i arrived the receptionist girl "Saygul" charged me additional 3 percent of the total amount because i was paying with a credit card. The credit card info was already saved on the website and the price was confirmed. On my first two days of staying at this hostel i haven't had any breakfast at the facility next to the hostel because i was eating out most of the time.Yesterday i extended my stay for another two days in a single private room and i was confirmed that the breakfast was included with the price. However, this morning when i asked the same girl "saigull" (I maybe wrong pronouncing her name). where i can have the breakfast she told me that breakfast was not included with your price. When i said no we already confirmed that the breakfast was included she was keep saying no and giving me an attitude. As soon as i asked her the owner's number she gave me the voucher immediately. So, What i am trying to say is the staff is not reliable here and they don't have any problems talking back to the customers. Please, before booking your stay here make sure that you have a written confirmation about the what you getting with the price. Because after you pay they change the story. I have a feeling that they either keep the vouchers for their selves or maybe the restaurant next to the hostel charging the hostel for each voucher. Something is fishy there. By the way, Wifi, and water pressure on the shower are very weak. Common areas are very dirty as well. I woudln't recommend this place to anyone.…
I visited Bishkek in February 2020 for a work trip. My friend and I decided to add a bit of fun to our weekend before traveling back. Our search led us to Apple hostel. First, on a Friday night in Bishkek, we attended a cultural evening of music, dance and traditional cuisine. The next day we started our guided road trip with Aigul, heading to Chong Kemin national park, and passing on the way by Burana Tower. I really enjoyed the hospitality, organization of activities such as horseback riding and the hike in the snow in the beautiful natural surroundings. I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend Apple Hostel to help you organize your next trip in Kyrgyzstan.
Very good hostel, clean bathroom, kitchen and rooms. Kitchen is full set. Room is have bunk beds, under have a locker. The reception the girls cure, friendly and very helpfully. If you need a taxi the girls call this time, recruit the people to trips, and I say night need the driver to Kazakhstan next morning bring for me. Very proffesion. If you need Souvenir or gift in here have cheap things. The breakfast morning in the next building, itshave 3 options: sandwich, porridge or egg with pancakes and tea. Have so cute small, young dog Apple. If you visit bishkek rent in here cheap and next building the bus station and the city center approx 20 minutes with walk. everything fine :D i dont know say negative things this hostel.
Amazing stay at Apple Hostel Bishkek in June 2019. Very Friendly team and helpful, aigul give us lots of advises for plan our trip around kirghistan. Best place to stay in Bishkek. We met very nice people there. We also rent a little 4 wheels from apple hostel for a one month road trip. Nice car, perfect to visit kirghistan. See you soon. ❤kirghistan
I had an amazing stay here! The best part was the service. Aigul (the manager) is the nicest and most helpful person ever. She arranged our Pamir Highway trip and was incredibly responsive in answering the many questions we had. We were setup with an amazing driver for our Pamir Highway trip and we still keep in touch with him to this day. He drove well, let us play whatever music we wanted via aux cable, and helped us negotiate rates at guest houses. You'll be able to get top class guidance on all things Kyrgyzstan while you are there. The rooms themselves were very comfortable and clean. The location is closer to the station than the downtown, but you can get around easily and cheaply using the Yandex app (Kyrgyz version of Uber). I definitely recommend this hostel!
