located 20 mn walking distance from downtown (Ale-Too square) in the northern part of Bishkek in a very quiet and charming area of houses with garden. The hotel is a 2-storey building completely refurbished which opened in July 2014. The hotel is modern and confortable (all rooms have brand new bathroom and furniture, wifi access), and at the same time has the charm of large house.Rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors, overlooking gardens around. The lady in charge speaks Kyrgyz, Turkish, Russian, German, English and in addition to a warm welcome provided us with a very helpful information and assistance. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am with a very good choice of food. Price for double room was 2700 COM (#50$). A great place to stay in Bishkek!

We arrived to Bishkek late night after long and exosting way from Osh - we knocked down a donkey that decided to run to another side of road just infront of our car (don't worry, it survived and felt quite well, thouth shocked) and thus had to spend 4 hours on 35C heat to get all necessary papers.
So I cannot remember much of how we stayed here, but it was clean, sleap was awesome(of cource), breakfast was nice, internet - good and woman on reception qiute welcomming.
The only think i can remember i didn't like - sound isolations is very pour. You can literally hear what you neibours do and all their steps.

Dear tourists please try to avoid this hotel. Cause stuff is not professionals. Food was so so. What unacceptable side is 8 hours one day)
Example. If for normally one full day is taking 24 hours.those one day is only 8 hours.it means every 8 hours you have to pay 2600 soms KGZ. Terrible hotel . Reception even didn't inform.

Located slightly away from the city centre is this nice hotel.

Rooms & amenities are good. Beds are nice (softer than usually so in Central Asia), showers are hot and everything is spotless. Personnel is very helpful, helping with anything ranging from changing money, transport to suggestions for diner, in good English to boot.

We had to leave early to catch a flight, so haven't sampled the breakfast. However, staff suggested to make us coffee and tea regardless of the time (3:30 AM).

All in all a very affordable and great option when staying in Bishkek.

First time in Kyrgyzstan and I booked this hotel not knowing what to expect but already having a good feeling when they offered free airport shuttle. I can't say enough about their staff, I interacted with Ruslan, Victor and a lovely girl during my stay. They were nothing short of sweet, accommodating, super attentive to all kinds of questions, they exchanged my money accurately and fast, let me check in early and have breakfast (..that I did not pay for!), answered all my touristy questions, all while keeping an eye on the reception, on other tourists, the dining room, the kitchen and overall hotel management, they do it all!. I also requested a room with a larger bed and was changed to a room with the biggest I've seen lol (literally the bed takes up the entire width of the room! I did ask myself how you get that inside the room-so much math!). I liked the experience so much that when I went back to Bishkek days later, I went straight to Kausar without reservation and they were super chill and quickly put me in a room. I just love these guys!..

Also ADORED the decor and atmosphere.. it has that Central Asian aesthetic of wallpaper, florals, gold touches, etc perfectly balanced with modern features.. and it feels warm and inexplicably familiar, like staying at your rich aunt's house.

The breakfast is amazing too.. lots of fruit, pastries, eggs, sausages, salami, for those of us that really need excess in the morning. They also make your eggs any way you want them and get them right!

The hotel is located on a quiet street that is peaceful during the day (beautiful view of the mountains btw!) and a little too dark during the night but you never really feel unsafe (solo female traveller here).

I plan to explore more of Kyrgyzstan next year and cannot wait to kick off my stay at Kausar again!

I really liked this small budget hotel. It's quiet, clean, and a great value. The shower water pressure and temperature was good. The reception wifi can be a bit weak if you're far from the router--I stayed in two different rooms where the first one was fine, but the second one had bad reception. It's a bit off the main street but there's a sign pointing towards it. The breakfast is excellent which they make from a small kitchen next to the reception. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The location isn't ideal since it's a bit far from the city center, but Bishkek is small so it wasn't a big deal for me. It's not close to anything in particular.

I would definitely come here again.

A really good hotel in a quiet location. 46$/night. Room was really big. Working AC. Nice bathroom. Staff is nice and knows English. They offer tasty breakfasts and dinners for a rather good price, you can eat inside or outside in a garden-like patio. Transfer to the airport costed us 850kgs.

Even though we arrived late (3 am), the staff was friendly and helped the whole group (13 people) accommodate as fast as possible. For breakfast we had variety of tasteful food and it was put in place on desired hour. The rooms served all traveler needs as well as had an excellent view of the mountains.

I like the room, it was super clean and tidy, really comfortable. Good selection of international channels on TV. Wifi connection very very poor, had to go down to the reception to get the signal. Staff at reception very professional and friendly, speak very good english. Breakfast was poor in general, a a little untidy.
