The hotel is a bit tired but has some old-world charm. The outdoor pool was a really nice amenity. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas as well as a small gym area. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the center. My biggest complaint is with reception. Some employees were very sweet, others could use some improvement.
Good location, clean , has an outdoor pool, very pretty and helpful girls at the reception. Half-empty tray for breakfast( Either cancel your breakfast or be a little more generous). Near the store(it’s good).
The Rich Hotel is a 2 to 3 Star hotel 10 minutes walk away from the centre of Bishkek. During our stay the staff were helpful and generally English speaking personnel were available at the front desk. Do expect anything other than a basic hotel experience. There are no lifts, Wifi is low powered, and rooms modest and modestly furnished. On the other hand the hotel is clean and a convenience store is attached.
The hotel give me different room from the one I have been reserved before on the roof very bad internet they give me and in the end shut the wifi down and shutdown the electricity on the hotel many times they are suspicious and weird people and they keep laughing pls don't choose this hotel for ur safety and good
We stayed at Hotel Rich for a night on our arrival in the magnificent Kyrgyzstan and another night on our return from adventures around the country. The hotel arranged a taxi service for us at 700 KG Som that was waiting for us at the airport with our name emblazoned across a plaque. On arrival at the hotel, a kind man carried our luggage up to our room. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and the decor was very pleasant. The receptionists were helpful and the breakfast had a variety of food from which to choose from. The hotel was busy with various foreigners from all across the world, including Japanese doctors, older European adventurers with Dragoman Travel and some central Asians. It felt like a good base from which to share knowledge and travel experiences. The rooms were fully air conditioned with a wonderful shower room. There was also a gym room, a nice terrace and a swimming pool that my son enjoyed swimming in, although it was a little dirty and was in need of a clean. The location was quite central and within walking distance of the famous Osh Bazaar. A little further is the Ala Too Square but a taxi ride ordered over the phone from the square cost us only 50 KG Som. The hotel cost us around £46 at the exchange rate of the time which was 82 KG Som to the pound. We paid 3800 KG Som, which felt very reasonable for the high standard of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!…
My wife and I have spent 3 nights there at the end of our stay. Overall it's not been great experience: the rooms are pretty small and smell tobacco, the service is not great, and the prices are not that cheap for Bishkek. Breakfast is very disappointing, poor quality. Swimming pool could be a plus but is dirty. We have booked taxi with them on the last night (the plan was to leave the hotel at 4am) and the taxi arrived with 20mn of delay and the only explanation they gave us is "relax sir!" Only positive aspects, located in quiet place and nice terrace
Spent one night at this hotel. It does not feel a four star hotel, but rooms are good size and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was quite good as well. Hotel neighbourhood seems to be nice and safe. In general, the hotel is comfy but not impressive.
Very centrally located, this was a great place to stay in Bishkek. Although the air conditioning was a little wonky, the room was clean and comfortable...and they had both an electric kettle and complimentary tea (both black and green). Plan to stay there again, on my visit to Bishkek next year.
I gave that hotel note excellent, why? Everything in this place is good, cleanity, sleeping quality, staff, room equipment. Just everything. You can change your money into local currency there, there is a little shop in the same building and bigger one close. There is a pool, free wi-fi, breakfast included. There is only one thing, the hotel should improve, staff could be a little bit more smiling, not as official as possible.
I stayed one night at the Rich Hotel, midweek. My room was spacious with one double and one single bed, refrigerator, hot pot, tea service, flat screen TV, and wardrobe. The bathroom was immaculately clean with shower (abundant hot water), sink, toilet and hair dryer. The staff spoke English (much better than my bumbling Kyrgyz), and was helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance of restaurants, shops, the Osh Bazaar, and tourist sights in the city center. Although it is in a new construction area, it was quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was very good, with juice, pastries, yogurt, fruit, eggs, bread, cereal, tea and coffee.
