- Quiet location in a friendly neighborhood - Good and large breakfast from 7 to 10 am - helpful and friendly staff - fast and stable wifi - a free ride to the airport at 3 am - comfortable mattresses
Excellent value for money. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast for this type of a hotel and provision of airport drop off (for guests staying 3 nights min) and pick/drop both for guests staying 7 nights and more. Overall an excellent experience and as said super value for money.
Well arriving here was fun in as much as you can't get a coach down the narrow road to the hotel. So a short walk was needed. The hotel is situated in a quiet street. Looks modern from the outside and yes inside as well. As usual mayhem arose when we arrived. After all 32 people descending here was a tight squeeze at reception. But after a little while all was sorted. The reception area was quaint and in this area you also have some very nice and comfortable seating - enough for 10 - 12 persons. the decor here is very homely. The 2 staff on the reception are very friendly and one of them spoke very good English but then she had spent 2 years in the UK. This hotel is B+B only but you can order in. So to the room. I had room 206. The room is basic but then that's all you need. The bed is very firm (almost hard for some of the group but for me lovely) and I slept very well. A good size wardrobe, table and chair, large mirror on the wall etc. There is also a small fridge and kettle etc. The bathroom was well appointed with items that I would only expect at a 5 star hotel. nice toiletries and flannels. There is also a mid sized TV on the wall but again nothing in English except CNN. The breakfast room is one floor down from the entrance / reception. The breakfast was simple an adequate. Beware there is no lift here but there were willing helpers to carry your bags up the stairs if needed. I enjoyed our one night stay here and was made to feel welcome. There are shops near by ( about a 200 - 300 yard walk) where you will find a choice of local eateries and other shops. There is also free wi-fi at the hotel. If ever here again I think I would stay here.…
It is a delayed review but the worth a good review! Excellent service, nice and helpful staff, luxurious place, very affordable. It is very modern but with enough the culture touch, I loved the lobby setting. They went out their way to help us out. Thank you!!

I travelled to Bishkek in early Sept. 2018 and booked a room at the Olive after seeing many positive comments about it online. I would stay at the hotel twice in fact: once before heading to Cholpon-Ata and once on my return to Bishkek. My experience there would prove to be above and beyond my expectations. First and foremost, the rooms were very nice, spacious, and clean. The views from the room's I stayed in were also wonderful. The staff are also exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, no matter what time it is. With their help, I was able to really enjoy and explore Bishkek and later, other parts of Kyrgyzstan. Pirizad, who works nights and speaks very good English, stood out for helping me understand the culture and customs of Kyrgyzstan as well as for encouraging me to learn more about the country. She and her colleagues also helped me by providing me with a map, detailed directions, and helping plan my stay in the country even when it involved me leaving the hotel. The breakfast buffet was also very filling, well organised and scenic thanks to the decor of the dining room. For all that and more I would like to thank the Olive Hotel. With their help, Kyrgyzstan and its beautiful people remain etched in my heart. Best Regards, Ismael…
When we arrived early in the morning after our long journey we were welcomed with a big smile and a cup of coffee - what a treat! The staff is wonderful, extremly helpful and charming and further organizes the funniest and most reliable taxi drivers in town. The rooms are very clean, spacious and quiet. The breakfast buffet meets all your wishes and invigorates you for the day: eggs any style, homemade jams, honey, salads and more. Thank you very much for everything!
When we arrived at this hotel we exhausted because from Tashkent by night bus. Friendly host help us early check in and allow use of the kitchen. Room condition, cleanliness, bath condition etc. everything is good. We can’t find any reason don’t stay this hotel at Bishkek. Already miss olive hotel.
We stayed in Olive hotel for 2 days. It was one of best hotel and a good experience. Very polite staff and incredible tasty breakfast. I have visited a lot of hotels and guest houses in Kyrgyzstan because I work in Information Center in Naryn for tourists where we also give information about places where you can stay so I definitely think Olive hotel is the best place where you can stay and take a break after your long trip.
