Alex, the owner, greeted us at the entrance to the property. From that moment on he was available and only too pleased to help us during our short 2 day stay - from where to eat recommendations, a clothes dryer to hang our washed clothes on, even to providing cling film to make sure our walnut oil gifts we took home didn't spoil our luggage on our return!
We had a 1 bedroom apartment that was very clean and comfortable.
It was great value for money in a quieter part of the city and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great welcome from Alex who met us at railway station. Although only a short walk, his car was much appreciated!

Apartment very clean and comfortable with all the facilities one would expect including tea/coffee and bottled water!

Air conditioning and wifi excellent, comments re lack of English speaking TV channels - I don't travel to Bishkek to watch TV!!! Catch up on all the news at some great cafes/restaurants nearby using your phone and their WiFi (if you really are desperate for TV programmes!!)

3 small kiosks located at entrance to apartment block (also secured by locked gate for addtl security) for any drinks/groceries you may need - large fridge/freezer in apartment so no space problems!

If travelling by train, a word of warning! The departure/arrival boards all show the times in "Moscow time" which is 3 hrs behind Kyrgyzstan time! So our arrival from Almaty shown on travel ticket and all train timetables as 2029, actually arrived 2329 "local time".

Fortunately Alex was aware of this and met us at "local time"!! 😂

Beware of departures otherwise you'll be sitting at the station for an extra 3 hours!!

Note : local trains arr and dep in "local Kyrgyzstan" time!!

For a country that claimed independence from USSR in 1993, strange that their trains still operate on the time zone of the capital of what is now another country!

Perhaps British Rail's trains may run more punctually if they ran on "Bucharest time"!!! 😂

Thanks Alex for 2 great stays at the "Home Hotel" - great value for money and 100% recommended!!

We liked our stay in our flat very much and felt just like at home. We got two separate sleeping rooms, a kitchen with washing machine and a big hallway with private bathroom and toilet. The Kitchen has everything you need to heat the meal or to prepare your own warm dish. The place is clean and very well maintainded. There is grocery, ATM and little shops with mixed goods a few meters from the building. The main square is only 10 minutes away walking distanance. This place was everything we needed and I can strongly reccomend it to everybody.
The owner speaks english and was very thoughtful and helpful, we reccomend this place to everybody. Big thanks for such a great stay a wonderful approach.

Although this is called a hotel, it is really like an airbnb apartment, but what a beautiful apartment!

Owner was very helpful. Nice walk (close to trees lined path) to downtown area. Beautifully kept apartment, strong wifi and well stocked kitchen. Great shower.

As there do not appear to be any signs (or not in English), one might have difficulty in finding. Best to call when you reach, although a neighbour did point out the entrance to us as we waited downstairs of apartment.

Overall, I would say it is very good value for money, highly recommended (but take note of the directions to apartment)!

This is called a hotel, but it is essentially a number of self catering flats in a large block close to the railway station in Bishkek. It is not immediately obvious where the entrance is to be found, so call when you arrive. However once you walk through the door you are immediately at home - the flat we stayed in was well maintained, and had air conditioning, a decent kitchen, and a washing machine. The gentleman who lets you in is friendly and speaks good English. This is a very good solution for a short city break in Bishkek.

Of course, it's safety place. A pick up from the airport cost 600 Kyrgyz local money (at about 9$)
