The Hammock Hotel is such a cool hotel! Everything is extremely Insta worthy and very new and clean. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the shower super nice. The staff is young, hip and very friendly and the hotel has free snacks and drinks and a rooftop lounge with views directly onto the financial district. You can also use the washing machine and dryer for free!

The breakfast looks beautiful and you can choose from a daily changing menu with three options. Could use a bit more seasoning though.

All in all, even though it is quite expensive, we can recommend the hotel for it’s nice atmosphere and location! A great place to relax.

Breakfast menu was great, it was pretty filling for 2 of us. Hammock Hotel's open pantry is the best, unlimited clean bottled water is superb and no worries of getting hungry at night as snacks are a plenty. The coffee machine served really good milk coffee as well! Chill out area at the rooftop terrace is really nice as well, free pool, hammock to laze and most important, washing machine to wash our clothes! Definitely will come back again.

I just randomly booked this hotel without thinking too much because it was showing up in the list. I would say it is the best hotel in District 1 for whom wants to find a hotel in bucket, the price was very cheap for such a neat, cozy and unique design room with a cute hammock and a chill corner for drawing. I can never expect anything more for the best services; nice, professional and enthusiastic welcoming from the receptionist. Besides, all of the F&B (mini bar and fast food) in the room are FREE, surprised? Even the snacks and drinks in reception floor are all free, too! That's what I love about this hotel. It also has the great corner for city views seeing and chilling with some coffee or tea.
Anyway, I will book this hotel again for my next trips, for sure. I love it!

I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel room itself was fine but the amenities I think make this place a great deal. They have coolers at the front desk with various beers, soda, water, milk, etc. as well as a stocked mini-bar in the room. My breakfast was included daily and it was very good. They also had snacks that were free chips etc at the check-in level. My clothes were dirty from traveling in Thailand for several weeks the staff washed and folded my clothes free of charge although I strongly suggest you give them a tip for this service as I did. The staff here work hard to make sure you have a nice stay and the ladies at the front desk gave me a few recommendations for the local area as well. The hotel is in a good location easy to get a grab or walk to various shops, restaurants, etc.

We were offered a complimentary pick up from the airport and arrived within 30 mins. Check in was smooth and the hotel offers unlimited complimentary drinks which includes a variety of soft drinks, beer and flavoured milk Inc soya milk. Snacks were crisps and instant noodles in varying flavours. Breakfast is included and is served on the 9th floor and on the roof top is a seating area and the laundry facilities (hotel also provides the washing detergent). The washing machine and dryer was very much welcomed, but can get busy as there are only 2 washers and 2 washing machines.

Breakfast was great and you get a selection from 3 options which does vary each day. Our room was an adequate size and had bunk beds, a safe, good air conditioning, TV and of course a hammock. The TV can only really be seen by the person on the top bunk. We also noted that the light switches near each bed didn't work in our room. The hotel itself is quiet but in the surrounding areas you will hear a lot of dogs barking and either music or karaoke playing but this usually stops before 11pm.

Ben thanh market is less than 10 mins walk and other attractions such as the central post office and opera house are about 10-15 mins walk.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The hotel offers great value for money and is in a convenient location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ho chi Minh.

Arrived at this hotel and the staff helped to carry the luggage to the counter. The staff is helpful and friendly, before check-in the counter girl will explain very details (timing for daily breakfast, washer & dryer for clothes provided, soft drink and etc foc, room details).

The decoration at floor 9 (counter) is very nice, lovely. 🤩🤩

Upon enter the room, you will feel very WOW and comfortable. The bed is soft, shower items provided, mini bar FOC and AC working well.

Daily breakfast will explain by staff before you make an order and they serve the foods asap. (Refer to the picture). The staff situation awareness is great and when you accidentally dropped chopsticks while eating, the staff will straight replace for you without you asking. The services is really good 👍👍👍👍👍

Will come back again to this hotel when i back to vietnam 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

We actually really enjoyed staying in the hotel. While maybe more expensive for a similar ⭐️ hotel what makes up for the value is that you get a really nice breakfast and all drinks in the fridge in each room and nearly all drinks on level 9 are included. This also includes coffee, tea, crisps, nuts etc. Staff are extremely helpful and letting us stay for a few hours with our luggage because of a late flight was a big help. Great location also with plenty of eating places nearby.

The Hammock Hotel deserves more than 5 stars! A funky and functional hotel in the heart of HCM. They are bold in using dark colors for the interior design, look at how the colors pop! I thought I wouldn’t be using the hammock at all, yet found myself sitting on it to stretch out my tired legs while I gaze out at the city. They also have yoga on Saturday at their roof top. We didn’t make it to it to yoga, but managed to take some Ig worthy photos at the roof top! And free flow of beers and soft drinks at the pantry and mini bars, which hotel does that? The aircon and bathroom water pressure work very well. There is a tote bag placed in every room for your shopping and sightseeing, that is really thoughtful. Last but not least, the service staff is competent. Chloe spoke good English and was very helpful and friendly from the beginning till the end.

We had a comfortable stay in the deluxe twin nest. The bunk beds are sturdy, the mattresses are thick and quilts soft and puffy. Floor space was sufficient for us.

On the upper bunk is a square wooden are where I places some of my some stuff. There is more than enough headroom to chill there and I liked that it provided space from my travel companion.

There is sufficient headroom in lower bunk too but take care not to bump your head when getting in and out. (We are about 1.65m tall)

We spent evenings chilling on the beanbags and hammocks on the hotel rooftop.

Local breakfast was delicious, though we learnt to ask for less ice in our juices or coffees otherwise they end up too diluted. The free snacks and soft drinks were good, and there was free beer too.

Staff especially Chloe and Annie were warm, friendly and ready to help with recommendations on where to go. We were impressed by Felix too, who remembered our very specific breakfast preferences from the day before.

Hotel is short walk away from Anan (27th best restuarunt in the world); flower cafe Padma de Fleur; and 14 Ton That Dan (Instagrammable dilapidated building with hip cafes).

Awesome hotel in district one about 20 mins(depending traffic IYKYK) in pretty decent location close to many things that will be on your to-do list if visiting.

Easy check in and given the detailed rundown on the hotel if you forget and/or dont understand theres a signage in elevator that will tell you again.
Room was awesome and very large and open with cool details to make it more enjoyable. Great soft bed ome of the better ones in vietnam..cool hammock in the room to rock on amd chill out if your on the phone or reading a book.
Another cool funky feature was having the easel in the room if you wanted to have a draw and be attemptful at art tho the pencil wasent sharpend to even try and be creative!.
Mini fridge in room with free items where you can also goto level 9 and pick more to.fill in your fridge also for free and is always!! Stocked barely seen it left missih for me then a couple hours..also free packet of chips and noodles to eat when ever your feeling a hunger hit. Shower and bathroom was great sized and very modern like the room with plenty of room to.move about and not feel confined in the space like many of the hotels

Roof top was pretty cool tho views better at night when some of the buildings light up with neon features.free laundry consisting of 2 washer machines and 2 dryers with pods also for free to use to keep them washed..sun lounge/beanbags/hammocks also up there if you want to have a drink or catch the burning uv rays..
Have a few games up there but were sadly all broken or not in really usable condition as to say the other patorns are rough on them to break them and not have any replaced
Ben tranh markets only a few minutes walk from hotel where you will find just about all the things you probaly came to hustle for knock off products on your trip.
Walking street about 15 mins walk and if you run out of ideas theres a great picture hanging in your room with things to do and certain pinpoints you might want to check out again a great feature cause it helped me out for a few things to do when i accomplished other things refer to photos for information.
Check in/put lobby also doubles as a cafe where you can get a morning coffee waffles ect with a bonus 30% discount off rrp for staying at hotel
Breakfast is free on level 9 wherr you get a few options with set menu for the pickings and honestly all was pretty nice especislly the pho and club sandwhich on offer
Great modern and uniuqe hotel in vietnam worth checking out for sure

My advice would be to download the ‘Grab’ taxi app and get an authorised taxi to the hotel. From memory the door was manned 24 hours a day.

In Vietnam and all of South East Asia, Grab app is recommended...Uber equivalent. I avoid taxis in Ho Chi Minh to be honest.
