Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Stayed 3Ns in a 1-BR executive unit for a work trip. Overall, this is a homely and wallet friendly service apartment. The staffs are very warm, friendly, helpful and speaks fluent english. It has some petty shortcomings that is bearable considering its price point.
Likes: Very nice, genuine and help staffs, comfy and non-touristy part of the city with good and cheap food options around, clean and big room, sound proofing is surprisingly good though my 2nd floor unit is directly above the busy 2-lane streets, will be good for long stay
Dislikes: The washer has NO dryer function despite their official website claim, you oddly need to do an overseas funds transfer to arrange for a hotel pickup, the Grab app geolocation of the property is not always accurate (I had 2 encounter where the grab driver updated the app to geolocate it as J1 apartment) so be sure to double check or get help from front desk.

One of the most budget-friendly hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, it may be a bit old but serves its purpose well. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and speaks English. The location of hotel near Landmark 81, breakfast on 12th floor with the view of Saigon river. Room is very huge with many facilities inside (kitchen, washing machine, etc), Lobby Lounge is a quite place suitable for working, there is a bar as well so you can order drink there. They has a free shuttle bus to city center as well, it's very convenience. I will comeback here to stay if I come to HCM city.

Friendly and enthusiastic staff, convenient room, convenient location to the airport, near landmark 81 building. nice view because you can see the river and landmark building, delicious breakfast buffet. The air in the hotel smells so good, it makes me feel so relaxed. The drinks at the bar are varied, delicious and beautiful.

Value for money, spacious room and surpised with nice welcome amenities and personalised welcome card, most of the staff mostly can't speak english. However it was covered by their positive gesture . Thanks to mr nguyen ( bellboy) n mr tan ( bell driver) , they are so friendly.

The room is spacious and the bed is so so so comfortable. What I love the most is the breakfast restaurant is located on the top of the building, the river view and Landmark81 are so unique. I would love to come back with my friend next time, they also provide the bus to Saigon central which is only 20 minutes

The room type I stayed is spacious and very clean. The view of the room and rooftop restaurant are really nice. And we really like the bathtub for relaxing.
However, for breakfast, although the food on the counter was insulated, it was still cold. Some of the spring rolls were even too hard to bite. (The front office manager already promised they will improve this problem after I leave my review on booking.com.)

Hello! I want to thank all the staff who helped with my arrival in Vietnam. From the beginning they helped with restaurants, transportation and all the furniture to accommodate my things, even for my desktop PC. When I arrived, my pc monitor was missing, and they provided me with a tv monitor to help. In the end, when my wife and I decided to move to an apartment, they helped us carry our luggage to the new apartment via the hotel bus.
As we lived for 3 months in the hotel, we felt that Oakwood hotel was a second home for us in Ho Chi Minh. And we made good friends there too.
Thank you Sophie for being so kind and helpful to us. And thank you to all the hotel staff who have always been excellent!

A wonderful hotel and apartment in Ho Chi Minh City. The staff have been excellent throughout the booking, check in, travelling around the city and check out.
We arrived at 0200am local time after a delayed flight and the staff where phenomenally accommodating to our change in plans.
The rooms where well appointed and the bathrooms spotless. A perfect retreat after a day in the conditions
The courtesy shuttle was a great addition to get round the city.
Will be staying with Oakwood again and would thoroughly recommend.

First time in Vietnam on a business trip, the company booked this hotel, the first day I arrived late, but the reception was still very enthusiastic about the check-in process. The room I stayed in was very spacious and clean with good soundproofing. The view from the restaurant on the top floor is really good, and the food is also good. The staff was very polite when I came in and out of the hotel. It was a great experience and I hope to stay there again on my next trip to Vietnam. Thank you to all the hostel staff.
