When you’re looking for a hotel that is not only conveniently located near the Old Quarter district, but is also comfortable, welcoming, and has very friendly and thoughtful staff, look no further than the Hanoi Hilton Garden Inn. From the moment I made my booking online to when I checked out of the hotel, the entire experience was smooth and easy.

I appreciated so much how Ms. Hong Hoang, the Operations Manager, reached out to me in advance of my stay to welcome me and ask if I had any questions. Upon arrival, I was given a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the bustling street below. Ly, Hong, and Chi at the check-in counter were helpful and efficient, and answered all of my questions thoroughly.

The room was comfortable and had all of the basics I needed for my weeklong stay. I slept well, especially with the blackout curtains. The desk area had ample plugins for my laptop, and I appreciated that the plugs could fit most international plugs—no adaptors were necessary.

One of the features I found most useful at the hotel was the free use of the washer and dryer. For a small cost of about $1 USD, I was able to buy laundry detergent and softener at the hotel’s mini convenience store corner. The washer and dryer were a real bonus to my experience at the hotel, making my carry-on set of clothes get refreshed after running out of clean ones.

The Hilton Garden Inn is within a short 20-minute walk from the Old Quarter lake, or an even shorter taxi or motorcycle ride. I was able to get Grab taxis and motorcycles quickly and easily, and of course, cheaply.

I would gladly recommend this hotel to other travelers, and look forward to a future visit here on my next trip back to Hanoi!

My in-law came back to Hảnội last month for the first time since 1954. It was a very emotional and good culture trip to see their relatives after more than 55 years ago.
We are gold members so Ms. Hồng helped to upgrade my in-law’s room to a beautiful suite on the third floor. The suite had a bathtub and standing shower also a spacious living room to entertain guests. They felt very comfortable during their six days at Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi.
The location was ideal to visit Hànội, close to nhà hàng Ngon, walking distance to bún chả Hương Liên/Obama. We walked to Hồ Hoàn Kiếm and Phố cổ, you can take a taxi or Grab for couple dollars to these places.
Food and service were excellent at both breakfast and lounge. Exchange rate at the hotel was reasonable and convenient for tourists.
We will definitely stay here again when we visit Hànội next time.
Thank you very much. Cám ơn cô Hồng rất nhiều nha.

Everything was great, from reception to checkout. I enjoyed my stay so much I came back for 2 more nights the next week. Breakfast was very good. There is a washer dryer for guest use, which was a deciding factor in choosing this property. You will be very happy, and the price was very good as well.

We have been staying here on 4 separate occasions over the last month as our base to travel around Vietnam. The staff are helpful beyond what I am sure is their job description. Left luggage is put away properly and not left lying around reception. Although it is in the French quarter it's only a few minutes walk to the old town and it's a lot quieter. We cannot think of anything negative to say about the place. We have tried both room service and snack menu when we needed a western food fix and both are good. Currency exchange at bank rate. Laundry facilities. Not sure how to praise everyone sufficiently. Excellent all round.

Very good hotel in terms of room and service. We arrived late in night. We were given an upgrade and checked in promptly. Breakfast is very good at the hotel which sets you up nicely for the day long trips to Halong Bay or Ninh binh. Staff is very helpful and they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. A small improvement may be to help with the foreign currency transactions at this hotel. You cannot convert your USDs to local currency or break the USDs at this hotel. Everything else is lovely in here.

The decor/rooms are pretty outdated, but given the price and location this hotel worked well. I would return if I found myself back in Hanoi. There is a laundry room in the hotel where you can do your own laundry which was really helpful! Cool views of the nearby buildings. Note: if you have mobility issues this hotel may be a bad fit, the shower/bath was difficult to step into even for my husband and I who are fit/healthy.

Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi is my favorite Garden Inn. This award-winning, focused service brand's first property in Southeast Asia. Located in Hanoi, Vietnam, this 11-storey hotel has 86 rooms and well-equipped facilities lies right in the heart of Hanoi, and is the second Hilton Worldwide property in Vietnam.

Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi is a preferred choice for local and international travelers looking for quality yet affordable accommodation in Hanoi."

They have everything you need from a gym, spa, restaurant, business center and more.

They entire staff and management were an absolute pleasure and made our stay amazing.

Highly Recommend ❤️

We stayed here for 4 nights in February and loved it. Since we are Hilton Diamond and it was our honeymoon, we got upgraded to a suite. The room was very nice and spacious. The location is also great; we were able to walk to most of the sites that we wanted to see. The staff are fantastic, especially Thuy Thu! They checked in with us often to make sure everything was going well and responded to all of our questions and requests. I definitely recommend staying here when you visit Hanoi!

The hotel is in the quieter part of the city but still within walking distance to the French and Old Quarters. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel manager (Hong) was very good with communication and the hotel staff was kind and gave good restaurant suggestions. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you want some peace at night.

We had a wonderful stay here last week, the location of the hotel is fantastic we were able to Walk everywhere from here.
Hotel staff are excellent and everyone is extremely helpful.
We enjoyed the lovely breakfast every morning it has everything you could want to start your day.
We also had dinner in the hotel which was very good indeed and I would highly recommend as the quality and value was better than the nearby restaurants.
Our room was beautiful huge comfortable bed and immaculate throughout.
With all the madness of Hanoi it was fabulous to return to the comfort of our hotel room and not hear a sound a very quiet hotel in a very busy city.
We will definitely return to use the hotel again It has everything you need to enjoy Hanoi.
Thank you to Hong and her team for making our stay very comfortable.

We did not use scooters. The roads are very busy with lots of mopeds, cars and buses, and I would not recommend trying to navigate yourselves unless you are very experienced moped or motorcycle riders. We did a lot of walking and took taxis.

The hotel can certainly book the tour for you. You can also check the tours here at TA. We used Viatour and had a great trip. We spent the night on a boat but it certainly can be done as a day tour. It will be a long day though.
